I decided to visit Nail Garden Salon off Indian School before heading out to Las Vegas. I was in Cali for the last 8+ years and my nail guy out there was phenomenal so I was looking to get a comparable result. Leon was my nail guy and I'd seen his work previously on a friend and was highly impressed because I am very picky. Here's my review: I waited less than 10 minutes for Leon as he was working on a previous client. It took approx 35-40 minutes from start to completion. Leon was courteous, gentle, meticulous and funny. I showed him a photo and he "nailed" it perfectly *wink*- Pun intended. I have had my nails for over a week and they are still in tact after accidentally getting my finger nail jammed in a kids slide and a door AS WELL AS all the wild stuff that happens in Vegas (remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas) but hey, these nails are still just as cute. All gems are also still in tact after washing my hands more than 100X's and soaking several times in steaming hot water. Overall I highly recommend Leon. He's an artist that's been in the nail business for 13 yrs. An expert in beauty and will make you feel like 100 buckaroos after leaving. TIP: I learned previously that this nail salon is closed on Tuesdays and everyone in this salon works on a walk-in basis. This place also offers eyebrow waxing, spa pedicures and great service and prices. Men are also welcome. There are 7 spa pedi-seats that also offer massage, the nail tech stations are equipped with comfortable executive leather-like seats and the Nail Garden offers over 1000 color options for everyone. Nails can be any shape you request and no detail is too big or small. Literally ask and you shall receive. My suggestion: call ahead to make sure your favorite nail professional is in the building. Leon is definitely my go-to and while I'd like to keep him all to myself, we all need that one person we can depend on - so sharing his talents is a must! Ann is extremely rude, she rushes and doesn't give customers a worthy job. She's rough and very frustrated with the customers always it seems. Everytime I get her, she's always in a rush to finish and never takes quality time. She gets mad when you ask her to fix something. I mean i've seen her drop the gel polish and waste half the bottle because she moves so fast and tries to hurry up. It's terrible. Everyone else seems to do a good job. The younger guy does a great job on nails as well and I usually wait for him but he was with someone else and I didn't have time to wait this time but never again. I went here on a whim while my son was at karate. I was quickly greeted and sat for my pedicure. The water temp was perfect for my liking. I got the number three (pedicure, callus remover, sugar scrub, cooling gel, and hot stones). I have had everything before besides the cooling gel. It was nice. My nail tech did a good job. read more

This is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. I went in to have a poorly done (at another local salon) dip gel manicure removed. I had not planned on getting them replaced. However, something in the way the nail technician was working made me feel comfortable and adventurous. He worked like an artist and quickly! When it was all done I wore my manicure with pride in honor and in memory of my dearly departed stepmother who past in 2012. Her signature color was pink and we walked the Miracle Mile in support of Breast Cancer Awareness since her since diagnosis in 2009. I did not walk this year due to my own health but I wore this gorgeous manicure in her honor. Due to their length I had to return to have them shortened and reshapes. I started coming here 3 weeks ago, and today (light pink nails), I was blown away at how clean the shape and nails were. I got the Dip Powder because my nails are naturally long. All of the nail techs take pride in their work and are not satisfied until I'm satisfied. I'm not sure what the man's name who did my nails is, but I will continue to go to him every time. I went get a pedicure at this location and I asked for an acrylic toe nail, the nail tech didn't understand a question i asked him. After I told him I didn't like it he said " you asked for a tip, next time if you don't like it don't ask for one" then proceeded to shove acrylic under my toenail to close the gap that I had an issue with. He then said I would have to deal with the curve it will create on my toe because it was too hard and too late to change. I became uncomfortable and was trying to not be rude. Another tech came and sat beside me to monitor the interaction and added unnecessary comments. My sister who was with me advised the man who did her nails that after he finished clipping my toenails we would like to leave and pay for whatever materials and time. The second gentleman proceeds to turn around and in an aggressive loud tone ask " what do you want him to fix ? ". I told him I did not like how the toe looked. He proceeded to insist I asked for a tip and got what I wanted, to next time not ask for it. He also included they NEVER do tips on toe acrylic. I advised him after drying my feet that I did not ask for a tip and never get it either. Following that interaction and giving the full salon a show, I left. I came to see if anyone else has had a similar experience with this salon. First time coming here. I brought my daughter with me also, upon entry we noticed many of unmasked employees, one of which did not look to well. I was not greeted and stood there in silence for a solid 15min before someone asked if I needed help. The service itself took way longer then other establishments I've been too, and the quality of work was half that of what I'm used too. I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone (not even my enemies) the lack of customer care and service reminded me of a bunch of high school girls that only would want to speak with you if they had something to gain from it or if they absolutely had to. I recommend a training, revamp, and maybe even a couple replacements of employees. I have been coming to Nail Garden for two years now and I love the work they do. I personally go and have with Leon, Anh, or Scott do my nails. All of the nail techs are wonderful and are extremely quick with their work. I personally get SNS nail powder which allows my natural nails to get worked on and as they grow they look like fake nails. I love the SNS dip powder because when I want to cut my nails short and they apply the SNS it looks great and when my nails grow they look fake. I always get non-stop compliments on my nails and it's all thanks to the amazing Nail Techs at Nail Garden. Since they are so great sometimes there is a wait and can take a while but I do not mind waiting if it means having my nails looking great! As for pedicures, they are always so thorough and I leave feeling relaxed and with soft feet! Highly Recommend!! read more

Since moving to AZ a couple of years ago, I've been looking for a new nail home. This place is conveniently close to home, which is always great! I called on a Thursday (close to 5pm) to see if I could make an appointment or if there were any openings. I needed a full set and pedi. The gentleman said if I arrived in the next 5 mins I didn't have to wait. I got there in 4 and he stayed true to his word. My pedi was worked on first. She seemed to have an attitude. Not sure if it was bc of me, I don't think so. I'm a pretty easy going customer. She finished and did a great job. On to the hands...girlfriend hooked me up! I absolutely love her work and detail to each nail. I wish I would've remembered to ask for her name. It's clean, cute, and close. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. The only downside to this place is they do not accept appointments. I don't like waiting. For anything lol. SO, as long as I arrive during their slow times it should all peachy! read more

I got a fill on Saturday and the next day one of my nails broke. I went to get that one fixed only to have another nail break on Tuesday. On top of that they didn't give me the price of what I wanted until after they were done and they over charged me and the nail tech was very rough. We are here from out of town. Called and went in to several nail salons before looking on Yelp to find Nail Garden Salon. They were so polite on the phone and told us to come right in. We both had deluxe pedicures - AMAZING! I've never had someone spend so much time and really let me relax during a pedicure. We then both had manicures. I got the powder dip, instead of acrylics or shellac and I am in love!!! They have amazing customer service, speak English and are very personable. I went to this nail salon today as a new client and it was the worst salon I have been to. Not only did they sit me down when no one was close to being available but there was also an incident that occurred. I was sat down by another client who was already being attended. As I patiently waited to get attended the employee beside me flicked some liquid and it flew on me and in my eye. I became upset because not only did she act like she didn't do that but she proceeded to work on the customer after I told her my eye was burning. Beside the fact that I let her know she flicked something in my eye she proceeded to say it was just water, she did not even help me rinse my eyes out or something. I really hope my eye is not affected by this later on. VERY UPSET WITH THIS SERVICE. Would give no stars if possible. read more
