Visited Sadie's on a busy lunch hour. Hostess immediately acknowledged us and asked how many in our party. She stated that the wait would be about 15 minutes and we could have a seat in the lobby. We waited approximately 10 minutes. Our server was at our table as soon as we sat down and asked for our drink order. Shortly thereafter a young man brought us a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. Drinks were served and order taken promptly. We ordered the nachos appetizer and queso. Both were delicious, an amazing serving of nachos with all the trimmings. Guacamole was quite tasty and so was the salsa. Service was excellent, courteous and friendly--no comparison to our horrific experience at Delicias. We highly recommend Sadie's for excellent service and beautiful surroundings. read more

Our waiter was great, the restaurant was nice, the food looked great, but we had to pick through it and eat the non-spicy parts. Anything with red chile sauce was just too spicy for us. Quick lunch before my friends flight back to Connecticut. It was terrific. Con queso and guacamole to start. Liked the fact that they had a luncheon menu...ordered chicken enchiladas with red and green...have 2 more meals from the luncheon menu. The blue corn cheese enchiladas with red and an egg was outstanding. Thought the red was better than the green but both werr good New Mexican choices. We even had a vegetarian bean burrito with vegetarian red chili. The vegetarian choices were most appreciated. Service was excellent. Their bar always delivers good magaritas. Sadie's serves up delicious New Mexico dishes that will keep you coming back. The portions are massive!!! Really some of the largest portions I have seen anywhere. One plate for me typically provides two meals (if you don't mind left overs). I had one of my favorites on this recent visit. I had a stuffed soppilla covered in red and green Chile. Best New Mexican food in the state, best red chili. GM Geneva is an outstanding General manager. She is always busy yet she finds the time to check on guests. Geneva also promotes personnel from within which is a huge plus !! Managers Matt and Darlene also do a great job. Great margarita's, chips and salsa. Their Rib Eye steaks are outstanding also. We decided as a group to come here with an out of town guest. Keep in mind I haven't been to Sadies in several years. The plates seem sloppily thrown together and green chile really doesn't have much green in it to me. I got Huevos Rancheros and they were just okay. Someone had a salad and was disappointed with it. Stopped by to get a late dinner and almost immediately regretted it. I usually don't feel so strongly negative towards a business, but it was pretty low tier for me unfortunately. Upon walking in, the hostess stared at us awkwardly and didn't say a word until we asked to put our names down for two. Upon seating us, she slapped the menu down onto the table, said "here you go," and immediately left us. She also didn't acknowledge us on our way out- kind of just pretended we weren't there. Food was mediocre, at best. Plates are very generously sized- you can definitely share one entree between two people and be full. Taste, however, was subpar. Unlike our hostess, our server and busboy were very friendly and attentive. No complaints there. Sadly, I don't think this is somewhere I would recommend. Our second visit to the great Sadie's was everything we wanted and more!! The ground beef tacos were delicious and so filling. The three cheese enchiladas were amazing. Sadie's serves meals with cubed potatoes and pinto beans, which mesh incredibly well with their sauce. Our waitress was amazing and even sent us home with fresh hot chips and sopapillas (included in the meal!). Great leftovers and nice environment. We have been seated in both the main area and the quieter back room. Both are equally nice! Be prepared for a loud restaurant and long wait if you come during rush hours, but trust me.... it's worth it!!! read more

Great service and huge portions! While service was a little slow, it was because they were packed and the employees all had wonderful attitudes. Food was quite disappointing,service inadequate ( no water refills, 3 times asking for extra napkins,asked 2 times for more salsa. Our server Jordan was super attentive and reminded me how good it feels to have good service at a restaurant, which I haven't experienced for at least a year due to covid.
