I was dreading the cost and the inconvenience of how long I thought the tenting process would take...so I thought. When I called Speedy's Termite Control, I spoke with Robert. Immediately, I was put at ease. His passion for his work and his business was beyond evident. After receiving some preliminary information about my concern and the size of my houses (front house had termites and back house for precaution), he explained the tenting process from start to finish - he personally would make a visit to verify the termites and assess the damage, explained the gases that would be used and how they worked, his warranty, the length of time I would need to be out of the house, the process involving the gas company, and requirements for pre and post tenting which included how to protect my food. It's been 3 weeks and nothing has happened. I texted him to ask about it and no response. Totally ghosted us. I understand people get busy and they have other customers but a bit of communication goes a long way. Some spots were surprising to find since I never thought rodents could enter through such small sleek openings, so I was glad they found these areas and sealed them off too. After the job was done, he came back a couple weeks later to check on things and made the assessment that everything looked good. Since that checkup the house has been quiet and there have been no signs of rats/rodents, thank God. *One minor issue I did have; they left their trimmings of wire mesh, some wood, and drops of cement within the areas they worked on...something I cleaned up afterward. Wire mesh can prick you so I was a little annoyed about that. Overall though he was professional, timely, and answered all my questions.
