Within 10 months of this service we had indicators that the termites had returned. "Granules" were appearing again in the same places within our garage. Yes, they returned and manually retreated many areas but within another few months-after the 'one-year warranty' expired-more granules were found as well as an increased amount of floor damage (subterranean ) in the house. Unfortunately, not even seven years later, we needed to have both the house and the garage tented again. We went with another company. read more

Andy the owner came over to our house for an inspection and noticed just a few spots on the eaves that needed treatment. This was after 2 other companies came out and their solution was to tent. Euro Termite took care of the tenting of our house for termites. It's the second time we used their service on a property. Both times they provided excellent service. Eddie (who works with the owner, Andy) came out and inspected our property. They gave us the date we needed to tent and be out of the house. Eddie communicated with us immediately any time we had a question. Their crew carefully removed all the plants from our house and patio--a big job!--and returned the plants to their places after tenting. They completed the work by replacing some damaged wood. Euro Termite was used when I sold my home and with the home we moved into. At both homes they damaged areas inside the home as well as covered a large planter outside, Killing all the plants and a small tree. There was another identical planter they did not cover, so we thought this was weird. I still give them 3 starts because they fixed the damage inside the home and the termite inspector was nice and respectful. However, our plants in our new home are unsalvageable. read more

We had an appointment today with Andy from Euro Termite and had a great experience. He was prompt-showing up 15 minutes before meeting time. He is respectful, took off his shoes at the door and did a thorough inspection. He left the area clean. Upon reporting his findings he chose not to charge for the inspection as he did not find termite. I was surprised and relieved. He recommended a pest control instead because we have ants. We chose Euro Termite based on a friend's recommendation and also because they took good care of my mom's termite problem a year ago. I find them honest and delightful to work with. We didn't use this service but our neighbors did and they came into our backyard and destroyed a jasmine tree that had been growing for over 7 years. The tree was growing up a trellis that we had up against the neighbors garage on our side of the property. Instead of them coming to us to ask us if they can cover it (they knew we were home because I let them in the backyard) they took it upon themselves to push the entire tree & trellis back breaking not only the trellis but also the roots of the tree. They dug holes in our backyard and pushed back the side fence ripping it from the bolts so that is now all loose and sagging. When I called to tell them and sent pictures I got the run around. Finally someone said a supervisor will come to take care of it on Sat (2 days later). They are here now and we're showing the guy the damage and all he cares about is getting his equipment. I called again and was told they'd have to call me back. This company doesn't care about peoples property and they don't take responsibility for damage their workers cause. Bought a house in Long Beach, euro termite did the termite inspection. They missed an infestation at front of house. They did come back when called and agreed to spot treat after I opened up the walls with my remodel. Now walls are open and they have ghosted me. Two months, 10+ calls and nothing. I hired another termite company to finish the job euro termite was hired to complete. Double expense. Do as you will, but this seems to be a theme with this company. My recommendation, roll the dice on another company. read more

I had work done at the end of last year. I would say 80% of the work was satisfactory, but 20% was either not completed per the quote that I got, or was "covered" over. For example, a couple of rafters had dry rot, which was just patched over. I got the feeling the crew ran out of time, and had to finish as quickly as they could. They replaced a piece of fascia...a 2ft section--very poorly! It did not line up with the existing piece. There was a 1/4 lip below the existing piece! In addition, instead of adding 3 more feet to this piece so I wouldn't have the next piece of fascia in a 3ft segment...they just replaced the two foot piece of rotted fascia. Very shoddy thing to do. Additionally, they completely destroyed the flashing that was there...and I had to pay someone to then come out and replace the flashing where they worked. None of the flashing was even refastened to the roof properly. In fact they put NAILS THROUGH the front of the flashing (instead of top) right through the brand new fascia in some spots. I could have hired a person off the street to do that type of work. Anyway, I sent at least 3 emails, 2 with pictures... and made several phone calls to get this resolved. The owner told me he'd get back to me...but the last 2 calls were just ignored. I even spoke to the secretary, and she said he's probably just overlooked it. Well, I never heard a thing. I can understand people not doing a perfect job, but then you respond to the complaint and fix it. Unfortunately, they wanted nothing to do with me after I'd paid. I did not really examine the work in detail until after the fact. It was my brother-in-law and a roofer who pointed out a poor quality work. Then I wondered how I had missed it in the first place. At this point all I can do is warn other people not to pay until you are completely satisfied. read more

Feedback re Euro-termite. I used Eurotermite to do some work at our home when my husband was in the hospital, in the summer of 2015. The reason I needed work done was due to the damage I saw and the need to have a lift installed in order to bring him into our home from the hospital. It was my desire to make sure that the handicapped lift I had ordered would not be installed into wood that had termites or dry rot. (I was able physically view some of that type of damage into the deck that would be holding the lift in place, thus I was concerned.) Andy from Eurotermite came out and gave me a bid, which I executed and the place was tented, repairs they diagnosed made. I had the painters come in after the repairs and the painters found multiple beams and places in the deck that had been overlooked and still needed repairs. Andy came back a second time for repairs. This past July, July 2016, I saw the same damage that caused me to call Eurotermite out in the first place. I had someone else look and see what was going on and they found multiple, multiple beams and areas that should have been repaired and were not repaired. Approximately one year and 2 weeks after the work was completed--we are in need of having much of the work redone or just plain having the work done that I thought had been done the first time around. I would say that if I had called the guy to look at the damage I saw earlier the work would have been under warranty--but there is no way the damage done in one year can be of the extent it is now. Thus I can only conclude that the work done was substandard to begin with back in the summer of 2015. Andy when he came out recently, basically said they did not do work in the area we pointed out--which is totally beside the point because they are the termite and dry rot inspectors and they should have noted that more repairs were needed, not I as the customer to note this isue. I am very disappointed--having spent just shy of $7000- to have the repairs and tenting done. Thought you might wish to know. read more

We went with this company after seeing the few, but all positive reviews. Also, they were initially chosen for the termite inspection during our escrow period. Owner seemed honest and trustworthy. They provided us with the best price to get the home fumigated as well as to complete the wood repairs and replacement. Perhaps, this is a one time incident, but because of our experience working with this company, we would never choose to work with them again. They requested payment for completion of work prior to having the work completed. After meeting with the owner at the job site to confirm that the work was NOT yet completed, no apology was provided. Owner agreed to get the work completed after the weekend, which he did. Subsequently, we sent in independent contractors and our own plumber for other unrelated jobs. While performing their work, they reported that the previous work performed by Euro Termite was shabby and was not providing any support to the structures. It was more of a patch up job. We opted to move forward with this company as they provided the original termite inspection report and estimate during our escrow period. Although there were few reviews here, all were positive reviews. During telephone conversation, Andy seemed honest and trustworthy. In addition, they provided us with the best price to get the property fumigated as well as to complete the needed wood repairs and replacement. However, because of our experience working with this company, we would not recommend or choose to work with this company again. The reasons for this are as follows: 1. Attempted to collect payment for completed work prior to the work actually being completed - We were required to set up a meeting at the property with Andy to verify that work was not yet finished. After seeing that his workers had not yet completed the job, no apology or explanation was provided. 2. Substandard wood repair and replacement underneath the property - Because we were having additional work completed on our house, we were able to obtain independent opinions from other professionals on the woodwork and replacement performed underneath our bathroom. Both of the other professionals, (a plumber, and a contractor) were of the opinion that although work was performed, it was more or an aesthetic repair and did nothing to reinforce the structural damage from the termites. Aesthetic repair is NOT what we wanted or expected for work underneath the home. 3. Misrepresentation of fumigation warranty - We were informed over a telephone conversation that we would not need to fumigate again for another 10-20 years. Mistakenly, we should have verified this in writing. However, no warranty was written or stated in the contract. After work was already completed, only a written 2 year warranty was provided, and only after a request to put it into the completion of work report. 4. Continual request for payment PRIOR to providing a thorough work completion report with any warranty of work - We have records of emails received and sent showing dates and times of when reports were received. We continually requested to be provided with all necessary reports and documents prior to providing payment, as we had now lost confidence in the work we were provided with and were paying for. Andy continued to state that records requested were already sent even though we had NOT yet received anything. Only after a phone call with his office manager, were we able to straighten things out. We provided payment in full within 36 hours of receiving the documents we needed. In the meantime, he threatened to place a mechanic's lien on our property and take us to small claims court. 5.
