Vegetable Miso -Vegan-

Tasty Ramen spot with a ton of options including Veggie and Vegan miso and ramen. Besides ramen Ryujin offers a range of rice bowls and appetizers too. The Veggie miso I had was delicious and very filling. The price is great for the size and value and served rather quickly. The decor inside is simple and no frills. But one of the best parts about this spot is they are open till 2AM on the weekends!

Pretty good spot for ramen! The noodles ar very bouncy and I appreciate when eggs are included by default

the earl grey infused plum wine was absolutely exquisite. i really liked the broth of my yuzu shio but there was only one thin slice of pork. but overall, this place had cozy, jazzy vibes on a sunday evening when i came out to eat alone. and the waitress was kind and attentive. i plan on coming back on a more bustling night to do the izakaya with friends!

10/10 ramen spot in Williamsburg! As a vegetarian, there's usually only 1 option. This place has not 1 but 3 options! I got the vegetarian spicy tan tan ramen and it was amazing! So flavorful and rich! We also got the miso cucumber and it was so good! Such a unique flavor and I loved the crunch from the fried garlic. Overall a must try!

Vegetable Ramen was seriously flavorful

Ryujin isn't fancy but it's delicious. The broth is positively yummy. The noodles are imported from Japan. If you are in the neighborhood and love ramen don't just walk by. Do yourself a favor and eat ramen at Ryujin. It's a solid choice.

Cute spot! Service was pretty non existent - but the food was tasty. Good for small groups. What I got: Karage : fried chicken - nice shareable portion about 6 pieces Spicy vegetable miso broth: this broth was WOW. Honestly still thinking about this. I couldn't finish it so gladly took the rest home. The noodles held up well as leftovers. Didn't know what to think about the toppings and huge piece of cabbage but they honestly worked really well together. The cabbage was a little challenging to eat with out splashing but I was triumphant. Might have to come back to try the lobster ramen...

I came here last week for a late dinner. I must say I was impressed. When you first walk in the place looks a bit off the beaten path. The decor reminded me of small hole in the wall places in Japan. I think that is what they were purposely trying to accomplish. The ramen was well cooked and well seasoned. The broth tasted smooth and had the right amount of spice. My only complaint is I wanted it to be hotter. I like my soup to be boiling hot. Which could be easily fixed so yes; I will definitely be back and want to try other options. This place was famous because of the lobster fries but they do not do that dish anymore. The service was good and the lady was very pleasant.

Little hidden gem on Grand St. So glad I stumbled upon this place and glad it's walking distance from my apt. It will now be my GOTO Ramen spot when I'm in the mood!! Ordered the shishito which I had no clue whatsoever that they were peppers. OMG. So tasty and crunchy with a little salt to them! Not too hot but after I had about 6-7 of them then my mouth began to tingle!! Lol. Hope I don't have heart burn later. I also had the spicy vegetable ramen. Wow!! So delicious. Noodles cooked to perfection. Broth was amazing. Not salty at all. Lots of onions! Tasted few mushrooms. Wish there were more of those. Some corn, grape tomatoes, green onions. So so good. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Ryujin is good! I ordered the Spicy Vegetable Miso Ramen which was tasty. I like that they have a selection of vegetarian/vegan appetizers and main meals (and it's good). The inside has a nice ambiance, but there weren't many workers so it took a while for the food to come out and for us to be helped Overall its a nice casual place to get dinner with friends and family.

Original Shoyu + Karaage

The shoyu ramen is the ramen I always go for at a ramen shop. For me it's like the plain slice at a pizzeria, the foundation. The broth is heavy and thick. Personally a fan of lighter broths but this one was exceptionally oily. As if I could feel the oil even without letting the ramen sit for 5 minutes. At certain times I wasn't sure what was a stronger grasp of, the pork broth or the oil used in it. The noodles were pretty okay. I like firm noodles, and they were made firm without any alterations. Noodles didn't really stick to each other or anything, but weren't anything special. Noodles did their job. Toppings minus the chasu pork. Pretty standard toppings. I like menma, always nice to see. I have no real comments on them besides that. The pork. I was pretty let down by the pork. It felt less on the fatty juicy end. As a ramen that was already pretty thick and heavy, I would've expected juicy chasu. Karaage was really good. Fried very well, eat it while it's hot or it'll lose it's perfect crisp. Staff is nice. Seating is clean. Outdoor is available.

Samurai Spicy Miso

I have ordered for delivery here several times and have never been disappointed! I am excited to try it out in person sometime soon. The broth is always super flavorful (i have ordered a few different ramens and all of them have great flavor) and the noodles are cooked perfectly. It's delivered nicely as well and the packaging makes it really easy to put all together once you are ready to eat. The samurai spicy miso is probably my favorite thus far -- definitely has a spicy kick and I love the vegetables it comes with. The broth has onions and bamboo shoots which provided great texture to compliment the noodles. I asked for extra noodles but I didn't even need them -- their portions are perfect. 10/10 ramen!

A lowkey spot but with big flavors. The wagyu beef appetizer is a must. You won't be disappointed and the it's packed with flavor. The sushi bowl is great for a sushi lover too and comes with an egg. You can eat it just like a rice bowl or make it into a sushi roll with the seaweed. We also ordered hot sake which I'm not the biggest fan of in general but everyone else loved it. The yuzu sake which is cold is delicious though

We searched Yelp and came across Konoba Yakitori, and it absolutely hit the spot. My daughter and I loved our entire experience--everything from the food to the local neighborhood vibe to the incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Everything we ordered was fresh, cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced. We had the gyoza, edamame, Hamachi Lover, Ebi Shu Mai, and the $15 Beef Set (three beef skewers), accompanied by hot tea and Ramune. The beef skewers were a highlight--tender meat with seasoning that was spot-on. Warm, welcoming, prompt, and super efficient. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and our waiter was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. Top-tier service all around. The space is small and cozy with a simple, comfortable design. Seating is a bit tight and close to neighboring tables, but there's nothing wrong with being snug, rght? It gets busy, but customers tend to eat quickly, so even without reservations, the wait moves well. Most importantly, despite it being a intimate spot, we never felt rushed at all. It's simple, which is what makes it amazing. An incredible restaurant all around--I love this place and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

I am picky with ramen because sometimes I feel like the broth doesn't have flavor but their ramen was tasty and flavorful. For dessert I tried the matcha pudding with red beans and fresh milk. It had a unique taste but I recommend this for matcha lover. It was a nice spot, good food, and great service.

First: got combo B which was the perfect amount for 2 people since it included an appetizer, 2 ramens, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. Left very filled and happy. Would highly recommend their lemonade and Thai tea! The popcorn chicken is more batter than chicken, so it's good if you like more of a crunch. The tonkotsu and miso ramens were good, but not particularly notable. Kyuramen is a chain after all, so the food quality gives that same vibe as comforting when you're just craving some. Second: Got the yakitori platter, beef ramen (seasonal) and curry ramen and I'd personally pass on all of them. Their meats are over cooked which makes them tough. Both times the service was fine, I appreciate the call button so both don't have to wait for awkward timing issues. I do like the aesthetic of the place, especially with the privacy of the room shades/dividers. p.s. don't forget their slurp and win program! When you drink all the broth, there's a word on the bottom (or not) where you can get a free popcorn chicken/drink/etc for your next visit. I thought the chances would be pretty slim, but I got a drink voucher my second time!

Chicken dumpling (3/5) Red version: It was unique to find kernels of corn in the dumpling! I enjoyed the vinegar/soy sauce and chili oil. Next time, I would have liked to try the brown. Overall, there wasn't anything special about the steamed dumplings. Iron Men (3/5): I was disappointed since reviewers said that the broth would be very rich but it did not have much flavor to me even after using their house chili sauce (+$2). I definitely tasted the Iberian pork undertones but overall, I thought it was watery and didn't have much flavor without the chili. The poached egg was perfect. The rosemary oil was very subtle (cool presentation as it was provided in a dropper!) The noodles were perfect--chewy and bouncy. I thought the 2 slices of pork were thin but tender, also more lean and not fatty (not as ideal so did not melt in your mouth). Expensive for a bowl with little meat ($23). I did not use the miso paste as I did not love the aftertaste, which admittedly could be why the broth lacked flavor to me! Nagoya Miso Katsu-Don (N/A): I tried a little of the dish. I thought the pork was very crunchy and had a great taste. Boyfriend said the dish was nothing special.
