People who move to Marin from the city love to complain about the Marin food scene. When I hear that, I ask if they have been to RS2Go. I don't know what magic Ryan and his team use to turn out such a wide range of incredible options from such a small space. Fried chicken sandwich? Banger. Huevos rancheros. Banger. The pastrami cured tri-tip. Banger. Chocolate chip cookies? Two snaps and a twist. The flavors are creative, the portions are on point, and there are plenty of options the kids will love. Thanks to Ryan and his team for building community through awesome food and great vibes on this little corner of San Anselmo. My only request would be for more Ryans. read more

What a local institution. Chef Ryan and team (Violeta, Cher, chef Marco, everyone) are the best people who make the best food. Brunch, lunch, dinner, they do it all. From loaded fries to fish sandwiches to lamb neck, what cant they do?! Pull up, hang out, enjoy good company. I will miss weekly rituals to the trailer. read more

Wowza! What an unprecedented experience! We were so lucky to get on Ryan's calendar after our bbq caterer needed to cancel unexpectedly. Ryan and his team went above and beyond to make our charity golf tournament the most DELICIOUS experience for us and our guests. The food was out of this world and the service, professionalism and care for our needs was off the charts. Thanks Ryan and team...I'm still dreaming about those ribs!!! read more

Ryan Scott 2 Go - Coffee & Tea Near Me - San Anselmo, California

See all

Ryan Scott 2 Go is a food truck operating in a vacant corner lot in a largely residential area of San Anselmo. They've outfitted the lot with chairs, tables, and toys, are open Friday through Sunday only and (on Fridays) they draw a sizable crowd from the nearby high school (despite the prices). At all times, if the weather is nice, Ryan Scott 2 Go is a real draw for the community; they've created a popular little hub of activity and created a destination in the most unlikely of locales. The menu is large, a bit up-market, and based on my order (an Avocado Sandwich shared by 2) the portions are more than ample. But all that said: I did not like the Avocado Sandwich. The person with whom I shared the sandwich felt the same and though she'd been here several times, she admitted that the food - described as "California-inspired cuisine bursting with local flavors" - was too rich for her palate. The Avocado Sandwich had too much going on and the inclusion of tomato jam was not at all welcome. That said, you can like this place for may other reasons: there's a lot more menu to sample, they feature plenty of coffee drinks (and products from Breakaway Matcha), and it's just a cool spot to know of given the unexpectedness of the place. After my experience with the Avocado Sandwich I'm not too keen on trying much more of the menu but would be totally up for a latte on a return visit. read more

I really love this place -- it's close to home, so it's a treat to walk over on weekends. The food is consistently delicious, though it can be a bit heavy for my taste, especially the breakfast items. That said, it's perfect for those craving something hearty -- or easy to share if you're looking for lighter bites. I appreciate how creative and playful they are with the menu, even if some dishes can be a bit hit or miss (especially the cookies and pastries). My go-to favorites are the fried chicken sandwich and the kale wrap -- both are always solid. This is a great spot to bring kids -- there's space to play while you wait, which you'll definitely do since it's a tiny truck operation and things move slowly. Just be prepared to wait a while to order and get your food. The woman at the front is super sweet, which makes the experience that much better. read more

Not only is the space phenomenal, The food is off the charts. The customer service was stellar and my mom and I were lucky enough to have met the owner himself. I was so impressed and will be telling all my friends to go and treat themselves. My mom and I both got delicious drinks but my hibiscus tea was perfection. Love finding a new local spot, that I will be frequenting a ton! Do yourself a favor and stop by for some tasty food surrounded by a wonderful atmosphere! read more

The cutest pink trailer whipping up I love smoothies that remind me of Erewhon but better and their salt and vinegar hashbrowns are next level but holy moly is it a wait. Took 45 mins from ordering time to getting a latte and a hashbrown. It's very busy and great for families but I think due to increased popularity it just hasn't improved the efficiency of their increased demand. So if you do go definitely go when they open or be prepared to wait. Very delicious though. Just hope to see them adapt with the popularity and success of the cafe to accommodate. Thats my only complaint. Again the quality and concept is fresh and I appreciate that and such a great edition to San anselmo. read more

Ryan Scott's team catered a small dinner party event at my home in Napa Valley. The experience was perfection from start to finish. I was a little blown away when Ryan himself arrived with his sous chef and team of servers. From TV screen to my kitchen, he was personally supervising a family style dinner as if it was his own personal dining room and kitchen. No detail was left unattended. Perfect table settings, attentive staff, literally not having to lift one finger from appetizers to the super cool dessert cart that was brought table side for our guests to enjoy. Every dish was unique, memorable and perfect Napa Valley comfort - precisely what I had asked him to create for us. I cannot recommend his team more highly. If could talk Yelp into a 6th star, I would have done it. read more

Excellent all the way around relative to food ideas and flavor profiles. Location with benches, chairs, small tents and all children's gear was also well thought out. Appreciated before opening workers were wiping dew and wetness off toys and peddle items. I would go back for savvy but the pop tart was strange guilty pleasure. Note prices were not on light or medium side, you will pay for the quality and cool blends of ingredients. Want to say a couple with one child in $50 min range. I will go back. read more

The wait was worth every minute. Everything from the sweet person who took my order to the rest of the restaurant staff to the flavorful spectacular food made it such a wonderful experience. So many great choices on the menu. I'm going back for the pork biscuit sandwich next. Even the hibiscus iced tea was delicious & beautiful. A lot of love goes into what they create here. Everything we have had from RS2G has been 10/10. The whoopie pie though. I hope it's the last thing I eat before I die. Not to mention the team there is so nice! Violetta always has a big smile; I love that there are things for kiddos to play with while we wait. There is a real community vibe which is hard to find these days. My family, friends, and I look forward to our weekly visits where we will be blown away by the amazing food! Love this place. Please never leave! read more

Food is phenomenal, however we do live directly perpendicular to the corner with the only days off being the weekend. My husband is a high school band director, so the lights and loud music/yelling orders is really disruptive to our weekends. I would absolutely recommend the food/service but I wish it was a little more gentle in the mornings of the weekends. read more

Outstanding in a parking lot. My wife and I have gone a few times, brought friends, it's that good. Ryan may be a celebrity chef of sorts but he is in the kitchen, working and making each order. We got to enjoy four dinners and a dim sum brunch from Ryan Scott at my good friend's wedding festivities. Everything I had was incredibly delicious- the freshest, most flavorful dishes I have ever had at a wedding. Ryan and his team catered our 115-person outdoor wedding at a remote venue in west Marin this summer and we couldn't have been more pleased. We were hesitant at first as they were more expensive than some of the other caterers we were considering, but we were sold after the (incredible) tasting. Our guests RAVED about the food. It was certainly a highlight of our wedding. The presentation of the apps as well as our family-style dinner was beautiful and creative, all of the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. I especially appreciated that the salmon and steak were not over-cooked -- absolutely perfect. There was more than enough food for all of our guests (including those who were vegan, vegetarian and gluten free). A+++!!! Ryan and his team were also great to work with on a professional level. Organized, detail-oriented, kind and generous. Special thanks to Kyla for all of her help with coordinating last minute details, to Violetta for being so gracious, warm and thoughtful, and to the chefs who f-ing crushed it (especially in the summer heat!). Ryan and team, thank you so much for such a wonderful catering experience for our once in a lifetime event! read more

What a great surprise this morning to find the cutest pop up food truck on my way to The Good Earth in Fairfax. The chef de cuisine is the award winning celebrity chef Ryan Scott and all I can say is WOW!! I opted for the Mac n cheese spring rolls and the Quinoa and fresh Brentwood corn salad. Both selections came with perfectly matched dressings. Portions were ample and very reasonably priced for such deliciousness. This was a soft opening ,with a long line , but with Chef at the helm and an attentive cashier and Clover POS system, it went very quickly. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you chef and staff!! Chef's Ryan's food was amazing! From the meet n greet to our reception dinner, they exceeded our expectations. From the beginning of the process, the team was collaborative and open to our suggestions. We wanted a blend of Indian and non-Indian foods at our wedding. Each Indian dish was an exciting blend of authentic Indian flavors with a Californian twist. The passed apps during cocktail hour were delightful; this was the first time we saw golgappas (pani puri) with the liquid filling in a syringe. From the biryanis to the chutneys, the main course was scrumptious and our guests loved the food! We appreciated the team's attention to detail with all the non-food related aspects as well. The staff's demeanor and service elevated the guest experience; we had guests mark on their warmth and attentiveness later. Special shoutout to Violeta among the team! The team assumed ownership of all relevant logistics and we didn't have to worry about a single detail during the day. Insanely delicious breakfast sandwich, best coffee, fun vibe, and the coolest kindest owner. Took my son for a date ride over, and we couldn't get enough. Happened to be out walking in the San Anselmo area and came across this amazing food truck located at 1119 San Anselmo Ave . We were hungry and couldn't not notice how good the food looked and smelled on the other tables . Opted for the BLT ( Huge and delicious) and as it was Hot I opted for the Poppy which is an amazing iced coffee drink ( was excellent) . Wifey had the Mac + Cheese spring rolls ( again excellent) and could not stop talking about the Mt Tam smoothie which I confirmed was delicious. Cute outdoor tables and chairs with appropriate shade on a hot day made for an excellent brunch stop. Super Family Friendly ! Can't wait to return to try the other items on the menu . Ryan Scott's food is delicious. His food trailer is a terrific addition to marin. We love it!

We hired Ryan Scott to cater our wedding and it was truly the best decision we made. All throughout the night people raved that it was the best wedding food they've ever had, some even saying one of their best meals of all time. Three months later, and I still get people asking and complimenting our food choices. Our venue did not have an onsite kitchen, so Ryan Scott's mobile kitchen was the perfect solution. We had a consultation prior to our tasting, and explained that we didn't want the traditional American wedding food. Our favorites were Asian street food and Southern BBQ, and we asked if there was a way he could combine them and have it be served family style. He perfectly captured our request and we served candied bacon, a cured ham and Parmesan sopapilla, and empanadas as passed appetizers. For dinner, the meal was plated in large sharable dishes around each table consisting of a sourdough bread with harissa butter, miso-glazed sweet potatoes, coconut-caramel corn, cider brined ribs, and drunken shrimp. The menu was unique, fantastic, and truly impressed our entire guest list (even the vegan options were praised)! read more

AMAZING!!!!!!! We hired Ryan Scott 2 Go for our wedding catering. We could not have been more pleased. The food was so good guests are still raving about it 2 weeks later. Ryan and Dana were esay to work with. The staff was impeccably professional and again regarding the food, both taste and presentation was phenomenal. Ryan asked what my budget was and he gave us an amazing meal with tri tip cooked perfectly, creamy mashed potatoes, fancy green beans, cheese ravioli with pesto and sundried tomato sauce, rolls, salad and three or four hors d'oeuvres which included his deviled eggs, everyone's favorite. I'm not sure where these guys get their cooks from, but it definitely is horrible to say the least. The food sometimes feel like leftovers from yesterday, or a chef who has absolutely no idea what to cook and cooks some random leftover ingredients.
