Salami, Pesto Mozzarella Panini with Arugula-Balsamic salad and refreshing Tangerine-Prickly Pear Beverage.

I heard Marco opened a spot in San Anselmo. I am glad I stoped by. Marco is an high Calibre Chef. I ordered a Salami, Pesto, Mozzarella Panini on Ciabatta Panini and it was Authentic and on point and geared towards the customer. The salamami was sliced so thin to order that you could virtually see through it. In addition it came with a Arugula balsamic salad. It was one of the best Straight Balsamic Vinegars I have ever had. The balsamic was dense yet smooth and sweet in depth from an aged balsamic point of view. I grabbed a Tangerine-Prickly Pear sparkling beverage to the my Authentic lunch together. I wish I could give it 6 stars. Thank you for the great lunch Marco.

Very very good sandwiches on house-made bread with super high-quality meat, cheese, spread (like pesto or pistachio cream) and veggie selections.

Fantastic sandwich. Focaccia panini with side salad. Don't let the understated appearance let you underestimate this place. Will be back

So happy Marco's is in Marin now. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing and easily some of the best I've had. I'll definitely be back.

It's a train wreck. Trust me. Yelling at customers. Told me it was a half hour wait for a sandwich-no one's here?

Easily the best Italian sandwich in the Bay Area, and made by a real Italian who knows how it is supposed to taste!

The chicken was so flavorful & moist, the plantains were great as expected, & the beans were good too with a surprise piece of potato inside. It also came with a mixed green salad, it was a great value for price compared with the portion. The service was very friendly, I also ordered to the wrong location in Mill Valley but was able to call to cancel the order without charge. I picked up my order from the store/to-go section so I didn't see the restaurant space but just looking at the space I was in, it was so cute. They have some items for sale as well & a cute set up of their beverages. I love the use of colors on the building & space. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon! There are so many other items on the menu I would like to try especially the sandwiches!

The food is good but I don't think I would order this meal again. What I will rave about is their house made hot pepper sauce. It's delicious, mild, sweet and tangy. The seating is family style or community seating where sitting with others at their table is encouraged. Service is fast and the restaurant is usually busy. It's a unique experience and I'm sure I'll go back to try another menu item.

This is my second visit here, but this is my first review (I forgot to review my last visit!). But…read morethis time there were more of us! This place is very nice all around. Good location, plenty of parking across the street in a public garage, nice décor and ambiance, wonderful staff, and a good menu, although it is light on vegetarian options; but if you are not a picky vegetarian, you can still leave happy and fed. There is plenty of indoor seating, and even a nice side patio protected from sun and wind; however, being alongside 3rd Street, a rather busy street, it can be a bit noisy. As nice as the day was, we opted to dine inside so we could chat. They have some good appetizers, and we chose the onion rings and the must-try Ooey Cheesy Balls (5 fried potato balls, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, house-made smoked jalapeno aioli). The onion rings are plentiful and not at all greasy, a great start to the meal, but the anchor of the apps (for me at least!) are the Cheesy balls. They are different: basically mashed potato balls with cheese inside, deep-fried, and delicious! The house-made smoked jalapeño aioli is awesome too, and it's my preferred dip for the onion rings. For the entrees, I tried a pizza for once, after seeing many good reviews. I tried the Blue pizza (Garlic & herb olive oil, mozzarella, blue cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushroom, red onion). We also had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (Butter lettuce, tomato, fresh slaw, pickle slices, house- made smoked jalapeno aioli (mild), brioche bun), the Chicken Salad Sandwich (Poached chicken, celery, parsley, dill, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, mayonnaise, focaccia bread) with an added mashed potatoes for a side, and a Chicken Pesto Panini (Pesto, roasted bell pepper, spinach, provolone, mayonnaise, focaccia bread). All the meals were very fresh, and the food was great! The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich was a tower to look at, with two breasts as the main feature. The other sandwiches were well liked as well, but I know I was the lucky one with the pizza for lunch. If you like blue cheese, this is a great pizza you don't often find elsewhere. The toppings were just right, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more blue cheese, and the olive oil base instead of a red sauce was perfect for letting the flavors really come through, with the cheese, meaty chunks of mushrooms, and onions all balancing each other. The crust was a separate delight, a very thin sourdough type with a crust worthy of eating on its own - and it was! Sadly, between the appetizers and the entrees, there was no room for a dessert, and we all took home some of our lunches, and two of us brought home food for others! Always share the goodness . . . Can't wait for the next visit!

The breading on the calamari is very light which was great since some places over bread it. The meatballs was really good when eaten with the bread, loved dipping the bread in the sauce. The pizza was very good, love all the meats and it's freshly made. The salad was simple, I should've asked for a side of dressing. I felt it was not enough. The penne was cooked to al dente, love the creamy porcini sauce.

I was back in San Rafael again visiting family. I brought the gang to the marina for the trail…read morewalk. We "had" to go into Andy's Local Market. Luv this place. Some folks in my group wanted fresh coffee, sodas and juices from the cold case, pre-packaged deli items, bbq from the grill, and to use the restroom. Don't let the size of this market fool you into believing they are a one trick pony. Besides groceries they have alot to offer. The bbq stand (outside near the back parking lot), plants, gifts, groceries, fresh seafood and meat counters, sandwich and deli counter, self serve hot prepared food bar, coffee and pastries bar, bar ( in the back patio facing the marina), and individual cold case drinks... and that is not everything. They have a backyard patio area and a small indoor seating area. During the summer, live music is held out in the patio. Everyone enjoyed the food items they purchased. Great offerings, prices (normal and comparable to simple places in the area), clean, organized, and beautiful simple decor and aesthetics. Plus they have the BBQ stand out front. It is open daily 11:39am-2pm. Serving up chicken (thigh $8.95, plate $18.95), Miller hot dog $8.95 and tri tip. I have yet to try the tri tip, but the chicken and hot dog are fantastic. Mmm. And I have to give a shout out to the houseplant selection. It caught the eye of some family members, so much so they bought a couple. Beautiful, healthy plants that cost nearly 40% less than the cheapest big box store in our hometown.
