This place was amazing. The service was great the guy at the counter helped me as soon as I walked in and they started on my order with them 30 seconds. My food was served super fast and hot and the french fries were amazing. Now I don't like french fries but these ones were special. They were across between french fries and chips not too thick perfectly seasoned and just awesome. And the burger was amazing the bread was from a sandwich roll but it was delicious crispy soft and crunchy. I would recommend this place to anybody any day any day any day

Had to work in the area & needed lunch. Saw this place had 4.3 and pictures looked good. Got here - easy parking. It's small & we got lucky to nab a table to sit out. Most people were ordering to go. I decided on the half Philly Cheesesteak & subbed the mayo for mustard + side of fries. My co-worker also got a half Philly & fries & my other co-worker got a turkey & ham half sandwich. Service was fast. Everything was piping hot & portions are generous for fries. I shared mine with my 3rd co-worker. The Philly cheesesteak would have been so much better if they chopped the meat a little more. Overall food was fine but I would not go out of my way to eat here. $58 for 3 half sandwiches, 2 fries, 3 drinks, 1 chip & 1 red velvet cake. I would give it 2.5 stars but didn't think it deserved to be rounded up. Also - workers were nice and if you speak Spanish - they've got you.

Been coming here 30 years and have never been disappointed. Quality east coast subs abound with their famous Philly cheesesteak taking top dog honors. Fat round sliced fries are on point and a loaded fried hot dog delivers what foodies dream of. No matter what you order it will make your day much better. Mangia my friends

I don't know what everyone is excited about to be honest... not very good. It's bland. No flavor. The hot sauce is just a mask. Not much meat on the sandwich either. Bummed. I think I would've liked a McDonald's burger better to be honest. Especially for the price too. Not much room to sit either. I do not recommend. Much better sandwiches out there.

I called in an order for takeout and my order was ready in 10 minutes. Came in to pick it up and it was hot and ready to go! Friendly service from the staff, they gave me a punch card and after 10 sandwiches you get 1 free. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a side of fries. The food was delicious! I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak with some of their hot sauce. The fries were cut in odd shapes - thick like steak fries but round like potato chips. They were delicious as well! Inside of the store is rundown, this is definitely more of a takeout restaurant not sit down - which is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Glad to know there's a yummy sandwich shop local in Novato! Thanks Italian Delite!

Best hot sandwich shop in the Bay Area. Everything is fantastic and they are very well located. I will always love this place.

We arrived at opening time to a empty restaurant and were met with a less than welcoming greeting by a young dark haired lady who kept telling us to wait several times while she kept busy checking her reservations on the computer for 5 minutes before she would let us sit down at one of the tiny bar tables we requested. Once we finally got ourselves seated we were never approached for a drink order for over 10 minutes, while several parties started coming in to be seated in the main dining room. After our patience was exhausted we got up to leave and said the reason why because of no service, but were met only with an ok and a rude laugh and no apology from the original lady as we left the restaurant. Myself, being a former fine dining professional I found this experience to be very uncomfortable and demeaning for my wife and I. Hopefully some constructive criticism will be of some use to remedy any future customer's experience.

After we were finally seated and put in our order for drinks, appetizers and main dishes, we waited quite a long time to get our food served. Quality-- not sure if we ordered the wrong things or went in on an off night, but for some reason everything we ordered was underwhelming and lackluster, from the: -drinks (cucumber mojito and strawberry balsamic mocktails) -bruschetta was average -meatballs were sort of flavorless -spinach ravioli with pesto was bland -parpadelle was also bland and portion was oddly small Overall, the food and service was unsatisfactory for the price we paid for the bill. We were excited to come here to celebrate our anniversary and left the restaurant feeling super unfulfilled with our meals. Safe to say we won't be coming back to this establishment, nor will we be suggesting this restaurant to friends and family.

After spotting mouthwatering photos on Yelp, we chose Cucina Paradiso as our supper destination. Cucina Paradiso is a casual trattoria located in the heart of downtown Petaluma, on the town's main drag, Petaluma Boulevard. The restaurant welcomes guests to a relaxing dining experience where customers can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a comfortable, hospitable setting. Even on a Tuesday evening, finding parking in downtown wasn't easy, so we parked in the nearby shopping centre, River Plaza, which was about an eight-minute walk away. Our reservations were for 7 PM, but after I got held up in Fairfield, I called the restaurant to inform them that we were going to arrive late. No problem. Our arrival time was around 7:45 PM, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and still there was no issue with being seated immediately since most tables were unoccupied. The atmosphere of the quaint dining room was warm and hospitable. Cucina Paradiso offers old-school Italian fare, inviting guests to savour the flavours of Italy. Their diverse menu offers a nice selection of traditional pastas, flavourful mains and an extensive wine list. RIGATONI ALLA CARCERATA ($23.95) - Cielo ordered this delectable pasta. The creamy sauce, similar to vodka sauce, was worthy of licking the bowl clean, but we had to mind our manners. MEDAGLIONE DI BUE CON SALSA TARTUFATA ($42.95) - I was debating over these medallions and the fresh Halibut with capers and beurre blanc sauce ($34.95) featured on the specials of the night DINNER MENU. Our server hinted that the beef was the way to go and her suggestion was on point. This dish was hearty and the succulent meat was paired perfectly with the exquisite truffle sauce. PENNE RUSTICA ($23.95) - My hungry eyes wanted pasta, too, so I convinced Cielo to pivot our original plan of sharing a salad to ordering with me this this tube-shaped pasta. The sauce was much lighter than the one for the rigatoni. We preferred the creamier sauce, but this bowl was still very enjoyably flavourful. To complement the delicious food, Nydia's top notch customer service added to the overall experience. She was amiably engaging and extremely helpful. I almost felt like hugging her, "goodbye!" True story: After being seated at our table when we arrived, I briefly stepped outside to photograph the front of the venue for checking in on Yelp. As I was snapping the photo, a passerby asked me, "Did you just eat here or are you about to eat here?" I told him that I just arrived, had not yet eaten anything. He informed me that Cucina Paradiso is an excellent restaurant, that everything they serve is yummy. Turns out that he was right on target. Cielo and I enjoyed a delightful dinner here. I have just one complaint - that I live too far to visit on a regular basis.

We were fortunate enough that two adjacent tables were free so they were able to push the tables together and seat our party after a quick wait. Service here was attentive, and I appreciate the table-side cheese and fresh cracked pepper offering after you entree arrives. The top-up on the table bread throughout the evening was nice as well. The food was my biggest issue at Trattoria Roma. While the meatball appetizer was delicious -- super tender, seasoned well, and sauce was tomato forward with just the right amount of tartness, the pasta dishes missed the mark. The texture of the house-made gnocchi was not what I'm used to. When the gnocchi arrived, the gnocchi held its form just fine. However, no more than a few minutes into eating the dish, the gnocchi lost its shape and turned into mush, and the whole dish took on the texture of cheesy mashed potatoes. The pesto sauce I opted for with the gnocchi was heavily diluted and the whole dish needed more salt. My wife's clam linguini dish had overcooked noodles. It's a shame because the clam flavor was quite good in the dish. For a family of four, our dinner came out to about $150 for four pastas and two orders of meatballs. I wouldn't say this was my favorite meal in Downtown Petaluma.

Our waiter was super attentive and friendly, and I have to say service was great! Everything came out in a timely manner. We started out with a glass for Chianti Classico, which is a red wine. It was good, but it was warmer than room temperature. Ive been to Italy and had amazing Italian food, so the bar is set very high for us. We ordered the burrata, spaghetti carbonara, and penne salciccia. The burrata itself was very cold, the balsamic glaze that it came with was hardened, not really smooth where you can dip the burrata or prosciutto with. Having said that, the prosciutto itself was really good and the arugula made it that much better. When I order pasta, I expect the pasta to be al dente, and unfortunately both pasta dishes were too well done. The taste of the penne salciccia was actually very flavorful, and i enjoyed the sausage. The spaghetti carbonara was super heavy and buttery, maybe a little more than I'm used to. Overall, the dishes were tasty but I prefer my pasta to be al dente.
