So I was born and raised in Terra Linda. I have been a customer of this unique little deli in the industrial park for over 50 years. I live in Santa Rosa for 22 years now. I have many fond memories back in the day. I wanted to share this family business with everyone! The service was easy and fast. I've went to LJ's the last 3 times the last two weeks because I wanted to give them a shot. So far so good. Their Everything Breakfast sandwich was delicious. I've also tried the Halvsie was pretty good. I then tried the Pastrami Bomb and that was alright. I did it with no jalapeños because I don't do spicy. Maybe it would've been better with it. Though I am unsure if I could order what's on their website at the store because the inside menu was missing some sandwiches compared to the online menu. The service was great too as I got my sandwich pretty quick. My brother liked the "outdoor" feel in the dining area. Overall, pretty good sandwiches. read more

Fresh delicious ingredients. Truly a rock solid sandwich I'll be getting much more often. If I was to nitpick, I'd say the bread could be a touch better but like I said, that is truly nitpicking. Mega sandwich selection board to choose from the namesake Subhut to the Doctor and at least 20 more, besides design your own. Love LJ's! It's such a quaint local deli that has super friendly staff, a decent menu selection, and good food! Also, you can order online and save tons of time! It's a little tough to find if you don't know exactly where it is. It's in an office park off Redwood Hwy, so I typically park across the street from Westamerica Back. Every time I walk in, I am greeted with a smile. Many times they remember me from a prior order and have a good guess about what I ordered or am about to order. They have a pretty great selection for breakfast, too. There just isn't a lot in the area in terms of quick, cheap (and tasty) breakfast, but you can get a pretty amazing breakfast sandwich or croissant at LJ's. It's a pretty big sandwich, so come hungry. read more

I work walking distance away (across the street) from LJ's Deli, so I really want to love LJ's! But for me, the sandwiches are too small for the price. Good, but too small. For example, Michael's Sourdough in Novato has similarly priced sandwiches (they're both around $9-10), but they're big enough that I eat half for lunch one day and save the 2nd half for the next day's lunch. It's a few miles' drive, but I actually go out of my way to go there instead of walking across the street to LJ's Deli when I want a sandwich for lunch. That's a bummer, right? I mean it when I say I wish LJ's did it differently! (So I'm trying to give thoughtful feedback.) My boss agrees, and he's buying us lunch today--at the "somewhere else." We'd both be at LJ's Deli if the sandwiches were bigger. At LJ's it's a lot of money for a sandwich that's just a light lunch. However, if you want just a light lunch, I do recommend it. read more
