    Small Meat Mania

Awesome pizza, probably the best I've had in the area so far. Got a small Meat Mania pizza (pan style) and it did not disappoint. The girl at the register was nice and patient too (my first time going there) and the place was clean.

This pizza place was recommended by the hotel personnel. When he said his family always orders and it's the best in town. I just had to try. They did not disappoint. Pizza crust was soft and the crust had flavor on the bbq chicken pizza was so good just the pizza sauce was just the right tangy We also got chicken wing plain and ranch dipping sauce. I was disappointed on the size of the wings but it was well seasoned even without ranch dip it was very good. They also impressed me by verifying my order with a call back since i was staying in a hotel near by. The pizza was promised 45 min but to my surprise it even came earlier.

Rusty's has and always will be the best pizza I've ever had. My husband is an SB local and he feels the same! Ordered from the Carp location and got our pepperoni pizza with ranch delivered to us within 20 mins! Great pizza, fast service and full stomachs!

If you happen to be In the Carpenteria area this Pizza joint Is well worth the stop! I can only vouch for the pizza and and salad bar. The atmosphere is cozy and the beach just minutes away. We ordered, seated ourselves in a very clean establishment & might I add the service was great. Our order soon followed right out of the oven hot and cheesy! Give this place a try!

Large Rusty's special without olive or anchovies.

We went here on Saturday evening on Memorial Day weekend. After walking a few miles on the beach this place was just what the doctor ordered! We ordered a Rusty special(less the anchovies and olives), garlic cheesy bread, salads, and some drinks. Here's a break down of our experience! The service was not above and beyond, but it was still good and they got the food out to us pretty quickly despite it being dinner rush. The salad bar was fresh stocked and really tasty, and an all around hit! Recommend trying the Italian dressing, it was creamy and oh so tasty! The pizza was perfect! It's everything you could want from a parlor pizza joint ( something I grew up with). The cheesy bread was soft and tasty, and while it said garlic, it wasn't so much garlic that you couldn't talk to someone for the next three days. Over all, this is a good salt of the earth kind of joint, and it has remained untouched by some of the more trendy styles of food. (Not that there is anything wrong with that) I will certainly be making sure to stop by every-time we roll through town, or stay nearby! Thank you Rusty's!

First time at Rustys, ordered 2 large pizzas, large salad , 2 large drinks. Im disabled at this time, camboot on, so mobility is an issue. Had I known that the place has you get up and get your hot pizzas from the counter like McDonalds, I wouldve chosen the one of the other pizza restaurants in the area. My name was called, I figured maybe they need to verify or they forgot something. Nope. They gave my 13 year old son the hot metal pan to take to the table himself. He ran to get to the table to avoid dropping it. I asked the guy to please bring the second pizza because my son can burn himself with the hot pan. He didnt. The Manager said that, my son should have folded the paper plates over the metal pan to avoid burning himself. ‍ pizzas were edible.. We went to the Carpinteria location, #51 order.

Pizza, salad and soda all great but Friday night's late Fall service deserves honorable mention and recognition. Firstly, my order was taken with accuracy and attention. Was already willing to throw a couple bucks tip but no digital option for that. Young man at the counter let me know he greatly appreciated the sentiment none the less. Impressive. After experiencing an epic journey across their vast landscape of salad bar spread, I was posted up at one of their 2 touch screen soda taps when I heard my name called letting me know my pizza was ready. I was still at the soda tap vacillating between another 6 ounces of Vanilla Cream or maybe Orange when the same young man working the register came all the way over to make sure I had heard my pizza was ready. That's when I started to realize I definitely made the right choice coming to Pizza Man Dan's tonight. As with any great story we experienced a great ending after my niece's greasy fingers and waxed cup turned into ice on the floor. When alerted, the same guy from behind the counter lept into action addressing the cleanliness and safety issues we had created and was very gracious about the whole thing. Top notch Dan! For a place called "Little Dom's Seafood," the menu barely offers any seafood at all; no clams, no crab, no lobster. Just one fish option, oysters, and maybe a shrimp dish. The rest is pizza, salad, and pasta, which felt misleading. The only thing we enjoyed was my youngest's spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was great, and the meatballs were genuinely delicious. Everything else missed the mark: * The fish crudo was so heavily seasoned and oily that you couldn't taste the fish. * The margherita pizza was undercooked. * The fish sandwich was drowning in sauce, and the brioche bun was soggy and greasy. * Even the Diet Coke tasted watered‑down and off. Service didn't help. We waited far too long despite the dining room being mostly empty. We were told they were "really busy," but there were plenty of open tables. For $165, the value just wasn't there. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a genuinely poor experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't return. Oh wait the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well equipped that was a great experience and the restaurant looks great and has very comfortable tables and seats

Excellent brewery spot with great beer & relaxed service!…read more Located against the railroad track on the back side of the building, it's a bit difficult to find, but just drive all the way in to the large alley, I guess Maple Ave. Nice wide open set up, perfect for a cold beer on a warm day. Wife went for the Crimson Horizon, and she enjoued it. I got a sip and it was smoother butterier than the Firestone cali squeeze? I tried the Avocado Honey Ale since can't go wrong with description of amber honey ale! Was told it was a version of their kolsch with local honey. Wow, it was smooth with a bit of sweet finish, so addictive!!! Still had hours to drive so couldn't just have as many as I wanted, but I checked online and seemed Albertsons sold it so figured I can just pick them up back at home. But the gentleman resting at the bar told me he delivers their beer but only up to the hills. I guess maybe available in stores up to Camarillo, but not over that hill/mountain. I had to have more of it, and they had 6 packs in the cooler for purchase so went for a pack. The green cans are such delightful vessels to hold the even more delightful liquid inside. Wife even cut out the top and using the cute cans as planters, lol! The cans poured out at home was excellent as well, very fresh and refreshing and could get tiny hints of avocado on sips. Just a great beer! After browsing the brewery, it seems avocado honey ale is their signature beer, so I got lucky to choose that from the menu, lol. While enjoying the beer, the amtrak train blew it's horn to leave from the Carpinteria station, so we rushed out to wave and enjoy seeing that go by right in front as well. I am sure the locals were shaking their heads at our excitement of seeing the train go by, one gentleman when leaving even complimented my kid's dance moves from when we were out there to greet and send off the train, lol! Awesome local spot and great folks, just a very relaxing spot to enjoy the delicious avo honey ale! Just hidden so maybe not many visitors to Carpinteria find it, but I picked it out from search for brewery and chose this over the other one on the main streets. What a find for an out of towner! Hope they can expand out or grow their delivery area, maybe get it sent to total wine which must have a distribution center. Otherwise, this is a must stop for any SB trips for sure!
