Looking towards Linden Street.

OK, my first time here, a restaurant/bar that features full size bicycles, bicycle parts, photos of bicycles, and other art work curated by the owner, many for sale. Lots of wood, a nice seating area and a bar with several seats. Service was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the warm spinach salad. How did this leafy food reviled in my childhood become such a personal favorite food. It did not disappoint. I just had the salad and a sparkling water as I read a book, snapped of few indoor shots, listened to the mostly folk and country soundtrack playing (it fit), then wrote this review. Will try the pizza next time but the take away here is that I walked away happy and satisfied.

Good location in downtown Carpinteria. I had the Hawaiian pizza. Loved it. On the sweet side with a little bit of heat from the chili sauce. My wife had an excellent half portion garden salad with balsamic dressing. The service was excellent. The young waiter was very attentive and kept our water glasses full. Pricing very fair.

Outside - the cute logo drew me in!

Looking for early dinner in Carpinteria, the cute name and squirrel logo drew me in. Service is super friendly, the outdoor patio dog-friendly with pup water bowl. Ordered the veggie wrap, added grilled chicken, and the nutbelly side salad with it. The salad was ok, the fig balsamic dressing delicious! The wrap came out looking gorgeous and still warm, good taste and big portion! Thanks for putting happy in my Nutbelly

DELICIOUS pizza. Great beer selection. Great service. I was honestly a little concerned about coming because the ratings weren't all that amazing. SO glad we did.

Great experience had at this restaurant! Warmly greeted and attended to throughout my stay at this restaurant! Great array of specialty pizza, sandwiches and salads! Plus wine, beer and ciders! The small pizzas are more like a personal pizza. You may want to get a salad or appetizer sharing with another. There is also a family pizza. Personal pizzas are about 17 dollars! Truly some unique toppings! Parking on street or behind the restaurant. There is a good size lot behind! Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating! We look forward to trying another pizza!

Stopped in after an afternoon at the beach. Staff was really friendly. Sat at the bar area as I was dining solo. Opted for a personal pizza as it was after 5 and sandwiches are not available sadly. The pizza was ok. Think cardboard like crust with not much flavor. Seems like a local spot. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot which was a plus.

Food was good. Had the Tree Hugger with vegan cheese and it was solid. Veggie sandwich was just okay. Bruschetta was Ahhh-mazing! Service was great and it was definitely a cool vibe. Always stoked to have vegan options!

So many great things to say about this place! I'll begin with the amazing customer service. Devon helped me veganize my order, he was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, which is so greatly appreciated! Caden was also an amazing server :) The ambiance is very warm, authentic, and welcoming. The decor and warm lights accompanied by the perfect tunes set the mood for an amazing evening. The food is just as great! Flavorful, fresh, and made to your exact liking! I ordered a vegan version of the avocado fiesta pizza and my daughter had lentil soup with a side of cheesy bread- everything was delicious! Highly recommend!

The picture does not give it justice, I'm not a photographer.. Eat it like an eater! Sophia pasta and rincón pizza.

Was hiking in the area and Yelped to see what is near by, came across this restaurant. Omg!!!! Such a bomb place! Ordered the Sophia pasta dish, it is loaded with mushrooms and the noodles absorb the sauce so well! The sauce, I want a glass of it to drink! It comes with goat cheese, make sure to stir it around with the noodles so the sauce is even more enriched! It came with cheese toast, that it self was such a compliment. Thick bread with crispy parmesan shield. I was getting misty eyed for finishing it, ordered another to go! Ordered a small rincón pizza, full with topping and each individual topping gives a flavor to the pizza.. Vs some pizzas having toppings that exist but it taste like air! No no not here! Loved the thin crust, and the sauce was so tangy. Glad I have left overs! Had a side nutbelly salad and their dressing is homemade, The fig balsamic was thick and sweet with a subtle fruity flavor. Ordered tiramisu, they know what they are doing! Each bite was like true loves kiss. The employees are very sweet, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of their menu. The facilities is clean.. they have plenty of inside and outside seating. Parking is free at the lot behind the building. Will totally visits this restaurant again.

Pricey, meh pizza and pasta. Dry Chicken in the Alfredo with very little sauce. Came from the yelp reviews, the pizza was so-so.

Pizza, salad and soda all great but Friday night's late Fall service deserves honorable mention and recognition. Firstly, my order was taken with accuracy and attention. Was already willing to throw a couple bucks tip but no digital option for that. Young man at the counter let me know he greatly appreciated the sentiment none the less. Impressive. After experiencing an epic journey across their vast landscape of salad bar spread, I was posted up at one of their 2 touch screen soda taps when I heard my name called letting me know my pizza was ready. I was still at the soda tap vacillating between another 6 ounces of Vanilla Cream or maybe Orange when the same young man working the register came all the way over to make sure I had heard my pizza was ready. That's when I started to realize I definitely made the right choice coming to Pizza Man Dan's tonight. As with any great story we experienced a great ending after my niece's greasy fingers and waxed cup turned into ice on the floor. When alerted, the same guy from behind the counter lept into action addressing the cleanliness and safety issues we had created and was very gracious about the whole thing. Top notch Dan! Well done cultivating a service culture that promotes in house family dining. I'll remember to bring cash for the jar next time

For a place called "Little Dom's Seafood," the menu barely offers any seafood at all; no clams, no crab, no lobster. Just one fish option, oysters, and maybe a shrimp dish. The rest is pizza, salad, and pasta, which felt misleading. The only thing we enjoyed was my youngest's spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was great, and the meatballs were genuinely delicious. Everything else missed the mark: * The fish crudo was so heavily seasoned and oily that you couldn't taste the fish. * The margherita pizza was undercooked. * The fish sandwich was drowning in sauce, and the brioche bun was soggy and greasy. * Even the Diet Coke tasted watered‑down and off. Service didn't help. We waited far too long despite the dining room being mostly empty. We were told they were "really busy," but there were plenty of open tables. For $165, the value just wasn't there. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a genuinely poor experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't return. Oh wait the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well equipped that was a great experience and the restaurant looks great and has very comfortable tables and seats

Wife went for the Crimson Horizon, and she enjoued it. I got a sip and it was smoother butterier than the Firestone cali squeeze? I tried the Avocado Honey Ale since can't go wrong with description of amber honey ale! Was told it was a version of their kolsch with local honey. Wow, it was smooth with a bit of sweet finish, so addictive!!! Still had hours to drive so couldn't just have as many as I wanted, but I checked online and seemed Albertsons sold it so figured I can just pick them up back at home. But the gentleman resting at the bar told me he delivers their beer but only up to the hills. I guess maybe available in stores up to Camarillo, but not over that hill/mountain. I had to have more of it, and they had 6 packs in the cooler for purchase so went for a pack. The green cans are such delightful vessels to hold the even more delightful liquid inside. Wife even cut out the top and using the cute cans as planters, lol! The cans poured out at home was excellent as well, very fresh and refreshing and could get tiny hints of avocado on sips. Just a great beer! After browsing the brewery, it seems avocado honey ale is their signature beer, so I got lucky to choose that from the menu, lol. While enjoying the beer, the amtrak train blew it's horn to leave from the Carpinteria station, so we rushed out to wave and enjoy seeing that go by right in front as well. I am sure the locals were shaking their heads at our excitement of seeing the train go by, one gentleman when leaving even complimented my kid's dance moves from when we were out there to greet and send off the train, lol! Awesome local spot and great folks, just a very relaxing spot to enjoy the delicious avo honey ale! Just hidden so maybe not many visitors to Carpinteria find it, but I picked it out from search for brewery and chose this over the other one on the main streets. What a find for an out of towner! Hope they can expand out or grow their delivery area, maybe get it sent to total wine which must have a distribution center. Otherwise, this is a must stop for any SB trips for sure!
