Asada Fries
LaTanya G.

Great Food! Great Customer Service! Great restaurant! First time going to this brewery. Enjoyed the Carpenteria salad with ginger dressing and the asada fries. There was also the fish tacos , which I didn't try due to my allergy. The artichoke was different. The portions are enough to share. The waiter was attentive as well as the other staffers. Enjoyed lunch here on a lovely Saturday in which we sat outside on the patio. Washed everything down with the berry acai hard seltzer which was tasty and a refreshing (not a big beer drinker). Unfortunately, everything was so good there was no room for dessert.

Just off the main strip of downtown, you will find Rincon Brewery. This brewery features a full menu of food, beer, wine and array of other drinks. As for seating, they have a full patio that is partially shaded. There is also indoor seating at tables, high boys and seats at the bar. We grabbed a couple seats at the bar to get the best service on a busy day. The bartenders were very attentive. As we were primarily grabbing drinks, we just had onion rings and a couple of refreshments. The onion rings were very good, especially with some blue cheese. I was also quite pleased with my wine choice- Justin, although it was a little steep in price at $16 dollars. During the weekdays Rincon does off some happy hour. Happy hour is Monday- Thursday from 2-5 pm with reduce prices on beer and house wine. Plus there are bites at reduced prices during happy hour.

Nice and easy access from front and rear of shop. In town with our two little pups so glad it was pet friendly on the patio. Had clam chowder, garlic Parmesan fries, shrimp tacos. All tasty and fresh. Salsa with chips was awesome. Servers were polite and friendly and always checking in on us. Ate in street patio. Little street noise to distract you but nice evening people watching. Dessert had the tarpitz-pie which was a good size. Ordered 2 which was a little much for our group of 4. Highly recommend.

Amazing smash burger. I also got a side of sweet potato fries which were so good. House sauce was also great and not too much of it.

This is such a great place to eat in Carpinteria, I have been here twice with my family. The service is friendly and prompt, it's such a relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, my granddaughter loved the asada fries and she's such a picky eater. I have tried their brews and they have been delicious.

Came by here a few times. They always have a variety of drinks. Good food from burgers to fried pickles. Fried pickles never disappoint. They have drinks to go. Growlers to refill. Always a must stop by.

The beer is pretty good and there is a good selection of beer options. The bad: They have ZERO vegetarian options but meat can be left out of the cali burrito. We ordered the cali burrito (veggie) for $15 and the fried pickles $11. Neither were very good. The burrito had the guac all toward one end of the burrito and I will let the photo of the limp fried pickles speak for itself. Won't be back. The good: The servers are friendly and they allow dogs on the patio.

Ask the Community - Rincon Brewery

Is this brewery dog friendly?

They have an outside patio and we saw a dog on a leash under the table

Does anyone know when the Rincon Brewery will be opening up in Ventura on Telegraph?

We are still waiting for a final permit. We are hoping to be open in July 2018.

Excellent brewery spot with great beer & relaxed service!…read more Located against the railroad track on the back side of the building, it's a bit difficult to find, but just drive all the way in to the large alley, I guess Maple Ave. Nice wide open set up, perfect for a cold beer on a warm day. Wife went for the Crimson Horizon, and she enjoued it. I got a sip and it was smoother butterier than the Firestone cali squeeze? I tried the Avocado Honey Ale since can't go wrong with description of amber honey ale! Was told it was a version of their kolsch with local honey. Wow, it was smooth with a bit of sweet finish, so addictive!!! Still had hours to drive so couldn't just have as many as I wanted, but I checked online and seemed Albertsons sold it so figured I can just pick them up back at home. But the gentleman resting at the bar told me he delivers their beer but only up to the hills. I guess maybe available in stores up to Camarillo, but not over that hill/mountain. I had to have more of it, and they had 6 packs in the cooler for purchase so went for a pack. The green cans are such delightful vessels to hold the even more delightful liquid inside. Wife even cut out the top and using the cute cans as planters, lol! The cans poured out at home was excellent as well, very fresh and refreshing and could get tiny hints of avocado on sips. Just a great beer! After browsing the brewery, it seems avocado honey ale is their signature beer, so I got lucky to choose that from the menu, lol. While enjoying the beer, the amtrak train blew it's horn to leave from the Carpinteria station, so we rushed out to wave and enjoy seeing that go by right in front as well. I am sure the locals were shaking their heads at our excitement of seeing the train go by, one gentleman when leaving even complimented my kid's dance moves from when we were out there to greet and send off the train, lol! Awesome local spot and great folks, just a very relaxing spot to enjoy the delicious avo honey ale! Just hidden so maybe not many visitors to Carpinteria find it, but I picked it out from search for brewery and chose this over the other one on the main streets. What a find for an out of towner! Hope they can expand out or grow their delivery area, maybe get it sent to total wine which must have a distribution center. Otherwise, this is a must stop for any SB trips for sure!

Island Brewing Company has a variety of beers to choose from, but they are mostly known for their avocado honey ale. It's a smooth slightly sweet beer. I'm a fan of their hazy IPA too. If you're looking for a chill spot to drink a beer, this is the place to go.

This is a family owned/operated wine and beer tasting room located in Carpinteria, with their vineyards located on nearby Rincon Mountain and in Paso Robles. Cool vibe entry area, with a large, garage-like back room and outdoor tasting areas. Parking available both on street and in a private lot in back. WINES: We were fortunate to have Jill, co-owner with her husband Edward, pour for us and the service was excellent. We tried 5 wines from the tasting menu, a '22 Storytime Rosè, '22 Susie Q (white Rhone blend), 2020 Dusty Vinyl (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre red blend), '19 Tempranillo, and a '19 Monk (Bordeaux red blend). In addition, Jill also poured us a '22 Syrah. Again, all the wines were well-made and flavorful. We took advantage of the waived tasting fee and took several bottles home with us. You can also purchase wines by the glass or enjoy a bottle onsite. BEER: New since our last visit, Jill and Edward decided to brew beer, so we also decided to share a tasting. All ingredients are grown on their property and they're currently pouring a Lu Lu Lager, a Monk's Ration (Belgian Ale), and a Sal's Stout. The pours are generous and easily enough for two people to share a tasting. We're not huge beer fans, but these, especially the lager and the ale, were so refreshing and full of flavor. They're sold in 750ml bottles, and we took a couple of these home as well. I highly recommend a visit to Rincon Mountain Winery's tasting room. You won't be disappointed!

When there were no customers at the bar, she was stacking and moving drink boxes. Getting business done.
