Rincon Mountain Winery Tasting Room is an awesome spot in Carpinteria for getting together with friends and drinking great wine! All the wines are amazing and you're sure to find the wine you enjoy the most. For first timers I definitely recommend getting the flight. The service is amazing and they'll give you the background on each wine the pour and how it's made to give it their unique flavors. The setup of the place also has a beach town feel. Located right next to the salt marsh, it's a the perfect spot to meet up with friends.

This family owned winery has delicious wine and great vibes. I even joined their wine club. If your in Carpinteria or on 101 stop by and give them try. They have an amazing vinyl collection and the wine is local and delicious.

This winery has some great tasting reds! I especially enjoyed their Estate Tempranillo. It was full bodied, earthy and had notes of vanilla, cherries and chocolate. What more could a girl ask for in wine. The Syrah had notes of lavender, violet and grapes. A little drier, but still left a nice finish on the palette. Thanks to my friend who has a membership here; I was fortunate to visit their private Mountain top winery. Unfortunately, it is members only that have access to this beautiful place. The views at the top are priceless! Between the coastal views and the breathtaking Mountain View's, it really felt surreal. The grounds provide plenty of seating, an outside kitchen area for those who want to bring their own food, or you can order pizza ahead of time. The pizza is made in their wood burning oven, and delicious! There's so many good things to say about this winery, but I will wrap it up by saying my visit left me wanting a membership here. I can't wait to return!

A friend who is a member took me here for wine tasting and if I wasn't planning on getting pregnant soon, I would've gotten a membership! The wine is superb and I enjoyed all of the tastings we had. I appreciated the charcuterie box (which was extra) and was pleasantly surprised when i learned it was locally crafted. The place itself was so charming! A whole wall full of vintage vinyls and wonderful music playing throughout our time there. There are also games to play in the back room. Just a great place to relax, catch up with a friend, and taste great wine.

View driving up- my poor photography does it little justice.

This place is truly special! The wine is amazing and high quality and the beer perfect! The owners are super friendly and personable. They treat every visitor like a VIP. The ocean views from the ranch itself is a must see! I cannot recommend this place more! Also- they have the best brick oven pizza, ever. Definitely try it, you can thank me later!

While there is a Rincon Mountain Winery tasting room located in downtown Carpinteria, I will be transparent in admitting that I have not been. However, I did receive a special invitation to an exclusive, members-only release party at Rincon Mountain Winery's property. The remote vineyard resides amongst the countless avocado and lemon orchards on top of Rincon Mountain. The property overlooks the coastal towns of Carpinteria and Santa Barbara, with unexpected summer heat similar to that of Ojai. I had the pleasure to meet the winemaker, Edward Darren, who studied Enology at Cal Poly and his in-laws. The parents-in-laws spoiled us by tossing homemade, deliciously fresh pizzas in a mobile stone pizza oven. My group purchased several bottles that included their Dusty Vinyl (GSM) and Ranch Rules (40% Barbera, 40% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre), while tasting a few other wines offered. If you couldn't tell already by our selection, I like big red wines! All of the wines we enjoyed immensely with plenty of body, medium tannins and acidity, and gorgeous color. Not to mention, the property has the perfect angle to take in a winter sunset like nowhere else I've seen on the Central Coast. Everyone was extremely hospitable, knowledgeable and made it a pleasure to visit. What more could I ask for?! Fabulous wine, company, food, AND views!! Pre-Covid Rincon Mountain Winery used to host local bands and other public events at their vineyard, however, these have since been suspended. For the time being, they offer small private group tours of their small production. Almost all of their wine is sourced from California's Paso Robles/Creston wine regions, however, they soon plan to offer estate wines *fingers crossed*. I truly believe they have found a 'needle in a haystack' with the perfect terrain and microclimate to grow and produce their own Bordeaux varietals. After my visit to the vineyard, I can't wait to check out their tasting room in Carpinteria and take a few bottles home for my collection. Cheers!

I like to support local businesses as much as possible. When my bestie invited me to join him to their pick up event I obliged. Let me set the scene first. You drive up a windy road to reach their venue and with a beautiful view of Carp and SB, both mountain and ocean. During sun set, the ocean glimmers as the sun is descending. So magical. During their pick up parties, the owners and family members make and serve homemade pizza. Now that was enough to win me over! Lol... As you wait for your pizza, they take your wine order to consume while there. Mind you I'm not a wine connoisseur, but the Dusty Vinyl that was served was exquisite and buttery. Pizza, good wine, and amazing ambiance made for a spectacular tasting event. As I've mentioned previously, I like to support local businesses. The family that own and run this winery are truly good people. They took time after their event to introduce us to their own collection of wines and offered us a history of their property. With a cumulation of things, their willingness to share their love of wine making and serving the community is what sold me. I've interacted with Jill, but mostly Christian at their brick and mortar tasting room. When there, they are always so welcoming and treat you like you are their long lost friend. This establishment is a breathe of fresh air. I encourage anyone and everyone to visit their shop and try their wines. I'm sold and will be a long time customer.

Rincon Mountain Winery is the best winery my husband and I have ever been to. We had so much fun wine tasting and even took a bottle home. We loved how there's so much rich family history tied into the location and wine, which makes this location unique and cozy. The location is beautiful, the wine was nothing short of amazing, and we both had such a wonderful time! There is a bathroom a few doors down (you need a pin code to get in) and there was ample parking in the back. We will definitely be back in the near future for more wine, wonderful music, and fun vibes!

Carpenteria is such a great little town, we are always looking for another reason to head down that way. And, now we have it. In addition to the 3 breweries and the mead/cider house, Carp is now home to a full fledged winery tasting room! Rincon Mountain Winery is operating a modern and spacious tasting room that sports a bit of a music theme up front and has a great open, indoor space in the back. Located on the Near end of Carpinteria Ave (nearer to Santa Barbara ) the area may be industrial but it's getting a good reputation for quality places to imbibe :-) The wines poured are all estate wines though for the time being they are all from the family's vineyards in Paso Robles. No matter, the quality is there and the vineyards up on the mountain have all been replanted with Pinot Noir so that should be excellent when those vines begin producing. At the Paso vineyards they are growing quality Rhône and Spanish varietals as well a few others that do well in that region. We particularly enjoyed the "LuLu" and " Dusty Vinyl" red Rhône blends :-). We'll definitely be adding Rincon Mountain to our regular stops list whenever we are in Carpinteria, they're definitely doing it right :-)

Easily my favorite tasting room in greater SB. I found this place the day I moved into my new house and became a member in between loading/unloading belongings. Great variety of wines, friendly staff, and a beautifully done tasting room with a vinyl accent wall. If you're a member, you get 4 free tastings anytime you stop in (don't forget to tip!) and they have quarterly pick up parties on Rincon Mountain with fantastic views

If you know me, then you already know... this is my happy place…read more I don't even know where to begin because this place has become so much more than a tasting room to me. Majestic Oak is my happy place. Seriously. The second I walk downstairs, I instantly relax. I don't know what it is... maybe it's the red umbrellas, the beautiful greenery, the cozy little patio, or just the overall atmosphere. I close my eyes for a second, take a deep breath, and it honestly feels like I've escaped into my own little world. I come here about once a month, and there's a reason I became a wine club member. Yes, the location is absolutely beautiful, but let's talk about the wine... every. single. one. has been amazing. I'm usually more of a red wine girl, but even their whites have surprised me. They're crisp, refreshing, and just plain delicious. I honestly haven't had a wine here that I didn't love. But what really keeps me coming back is the people. Rita deserves the biggest shout-out. It's not just that she takes amazing care of us every time we visit. It's her personality. Her knowledge. Her passion for the wines. She makes you feel like you've been friends forever, and somehow every visit feels even more special because she's there. She has this way of making everyone feel welcome, and that kind of hospitality is something you can't teach. For me, Majestic Oak isn't just somewhere to drink wine. It's where I go to slow down, breathe, laugh, and enjoy life for a little while. It has become my home away from home, and I honestly can't imagine a month going by without stopping in. If you're anywhere near Ojai, do yourself a favor and visit. Come for the wine... stay because you'll probably fall in love with everything else too. One last thing... we stopped by today, as usual, and Kristy took such incredible care of us! She was so welcoming, attentive, and made our visit just as memorable. It reminded me that the amazing service here isn't just one person; it's the culture. Every visit leaves us feeling like family, and that's something truly special. (Oh... and if you see Bruce, make sure you say hi! He's the sweetest little furball and just might steal your heart before your first sip of wine. ) Thank you, Majestic Oak, for creating a place that truly feels... Majestic.

Customer service was still great, but I noticed a few changes that took away from the experience for us personally. I do like that the tastings are no longer in the plastic tubes, although the tubes did feel like they held a little more wine. What we didn't enjoy was that when multiple people ordered the same tastings, they were placed into the same shared glass/container. In our party of four, three of us had the same six tastings and had to share. I appreciated the bow on the glass showing the pours, but I preferred the previous setup where everyone had their own individual tastings. It may seem small, and thankfully our group was fine sharing, but it made the experience feel less personal and honestly made us less interested in doing tastings again on future visits. Some people also may not feel comfortable sharing containers or touching the same glass. Nothing terrible at all, just some feedback from longtime visitors who loved how it used to be. On this visit we actually ended up ordering a bottle afterward instead, and moving forward we'll probably just continue doing that rather than the tastings.
