This place is nestled in the middle of State Street where i had unknowingly walked by hundreds of times. The inside is very nicely decorated. The bar and stools sit off to one side while tables and couches line the other side. There is also outdoor seating for those who like to people watch. The wine itself was very good and the staff were friendly. The one downside is if you come while there is live music, you won't be able to hear anyone talking in your group. I sat through one singer and then a band playing one day; I had to pause conversation with my table of friends because they couldn't hear me nor i them.

We stopped into Longoria Wines on State Street for the first time on an Aug 2024 visit to Santa Barbara. The space has a modern, hip vibe with comfy seating and big windows perfect for people watching along State Street! Sam was super welcoming, very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. We were visiting right after the 5-day Old Spanish Days celebration in SB, so they still had a Fiesta tasting menu to choose from, in addition to the regular "Longoria's Latest" and "Blind Faith" tastings. We opted for each of the regular tastings and enjoyed them all. It's easy to see why this is a 5-star wine room - great wine, great ambiance, great people!

This tasting room is the most beautiful and elegant I've been. Located in Downtown Santa Barbara on State Street, you can't miss it. It's two doors from McConnell's Ice Cream. They have indoor, patio, and State Street people watching seating. The patio is beautiful! Longoria's Latest Tasting - 5 tastings for $25 (2 Whites and 3 Reds). All the wines were delicious. They were better as we went down the list. I typically like sweeter wines, but my personal favorite was the 2023 Graciano. It had such a great peppery flavor! The Cheese Plate was by local SB Cheese Shop - It had 3 cheeses, dried apricots, walnuts, crackers, grapes and fig butter. So yum! They also have events such as Karaoke and Wine & Crime. Super fun! The most AMAZING AMAZING service from Sam! He was super personable, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home! Thank you for helping us! Definitely recommended!

In my opinion, this is one of the more upper scale tasting rooms. But with a very down home, Santa Barbara Ishal . The service was incredible. Our guy came over to the little couch. We were sitting on with a big smile on his face just making us happy with his pours. We loved the 2022 rosé We also really love the 2019 blues cuvée . The prices were so incredibly reasonable. The tasting menu was perfect. They don't offer a lot of food so if you're hungry, they've got crackers you can buy or a cheese shop curated plate. Seating on the inside with tables and booths. Also a very nice outdoor area in the back. Super pretty space.

This is the bottle that we were sampling and then we did a full pour, and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Went to Santa Barbara for the weekend, as several of the locals were a good downtown winery is, they all pointed to Longoria, it's a pretty simple storefront. They serve small charcuterie boards, a few snacks, and the wines are pretty dang good.

The interior decor is very nice, upscale. I really enjoyed the setting; they also have great chill music which adds to the experience. The visit would have been better if we were not the only people here, but what do you expect at 3pm on a Friday? Sam was a great sommelier, full of great descriptions and attentive to our needs. Longoria Wines did a few extra special things to acknowledge our birthday girl, which was appreciated. This is a wine tasting experience you will not regret. Sam, thanks for being part of our birthday celebration tour. Their wines were all tasty, my group enjoyed the red/white taster flight.

It's rare I review wineries since everyone's palettes are so different, however this tasting room blew us away. We hadn't heard of Longoria Wines before but the space drew us in as we walked by that we decided to have a tasting without researching them. So happy we did as it ended up being our favorite wine tasting from our trip. We picked the "Latest Release" flight priced at $25 for 5 pours. The flight started with a Pinot Grigio which we are not fans of, however this particular one may have converted us. It was unlike any Pinot Grigio we've ever tasted and even purchased a bottle. All the other wines were also outstanding, perfectly chilled, and we decided to take home 2 bottles of the Lovely Rita Pinot Noir. The tasting fee was waived with a 3 bottle purchase which was a no brainer for these outstanding wines.

We stopped here for a wine tasting before dinner after seeing the five star reviews on Google and yelp. So glad that we chose this to be our wine tasting Location! The service was really attentive and explained each of the wines we were sampling. The inside was really trendy. Not too busy not too loud (they even had sound panels on the ceiling) And comfy seating. I was just visiting from out of town, but I would recommend this location to anybody.

Grant bottle of Tempranillo to share!

My friend moved back to Santa Barbara with her parents and we would often stop by Longoria on a weekend afternoon for a glass of wine. We stopped in so often and loved the outdoor patio, wines, and jokes with staff that they became wine club members. As members, I tag along with them to events and tastings and am never disappointed! The quality of the wines is fantastic and there is options for white and red fanatics in your group. I highly recommend grabbing a glass and people watching at their State street location!

Great little hole in the wall, off of State Street. Wine is very good, atmosphere Very nice.

It was toward the end of the day. A little tasting before dinner never hurts anyone. Plus it was nice to share the experience with some friends that haven't been before. Perfect day to sit outside with the heatwave. Also nice to start with a little bubbly. Their wine selections from Sonoma and Napa as well the coast were all amazing. We did the sunset sip which their wine offering was great. All their white, red as well as rose and bubbles were great. Rich bold and full of notes. The place is perfect as it located right in the heart of town. Just minutes from the pier and part of the hotel. So people watching is great. They also serve food which comes from the restaurant next door. A snack with your tasting or a pairing. Each visit has always been great. A nice relaxing and mellow tasting experience. This really is the perfect place for both wine AND food…read more So far we've been in a couple times sitting in the bar area and also out on their comfy patio space. Our servers Alex and Kayla were exceptional at both suggesting some delicious lunch items, and also giving a rundown on their different wine tastings. They gave us some helpful information on the assorted varietals and vintages as well. We went in specifically for their M5 and Riviera Rose, but discovered their extensive selection of other varietals and vintages. Came away with some new favorites: Sauvignon Blanc, Trois Blondes (a delicious white blend), Viognier, Mourvedre, and Estate Syrah. Perfect that they open at noon for lunch. We paired our wines with their Santa Barbara Smokehouse Salmon, Smoked Duck and Arugula Salad, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and Sausage Mushroom & Carmelized Onion Pizza. Still so much on their menu to enjoy.

It was chilly so she tried to light the heat lamp at my request but both that one and the replacement did not work. The replacement actually had the propane disconnected so I assume someone knew that tank needed to be changed out but didn't do it. The other tables from the large party were full of wine glasses and a half eaten pizza. Those sat there for over an hour, and we watched several groups of people come but leave without being seated because no server was available yo seat them and the only open table hadn't been cleared. When it was finally cleared, one guest at a near by table commented that the pizza shouldn't go to waste. The girl who cleared the table initially carried it inside but came right back out with it and served it to that guest whose kid ate it. I'm all for not wasting food and if the guest had gotten up and grabbed the pizza himself, that would be one thing... but to serve old food that had been sitting out for a long time to a guest is a no no for a business. We otherwise enjoyed most of the wines in our tasting flight. Would've given 5 stars if service had been more timely, tables cleared and old food not served up.

We visited a winery called Area 51 which sounded fun, but the wines were just okay. But Pali Wine had very good wines, a relaxing patio, and cool live music. The stores vary from very pricey threads to affordable knick knacks; succulents to vintage records to original artwork. Many spaces occupy previously owned old businesses that give it a nostalgic feeling. A few top name wineries have spaces here (i.e. Fess Parker).
