Their wines are lovely- both red and white, with some rare varietals like picpoul from France. I loved their M5 reserve blend- like a good Chateauneuf du pape. They also have an excellent small bites menu. We enjoyed a very tasty mushroom Gruyère toast and charcuterie board. We had very nice server, too.

Had to stop for a glass before the show. The staff was more than accommodating and helped my partner find exactly what he was looking for. He even shipped some to family for their anniversary. Nice place.

I walked in for a wine tasting & sat outside on the patio with my dog. I did the Margerum Tasting flight for $40 which is 5 different wines. It was 2 whites and 3 reds. Our server did a great job of explaining the wines, flavors & where they came from. They also offer food here- I ordered a crispy bacon and hot honey pizza. It's a thin crust pizza & I would definitely order this combo again. They are a dog friendly tasting room.

Fun place for a wine flights ! Both indoor and patio seating (street view) Flights at $40 with a mix of reds and whites . I'm normally more into reds but felt they all had too much tannin for my taste . (Most syrahs) You do get your tasting fee waived for 3 bottles . I enjoyed the Sauvignon blanc and bought both of theirs (appreciated that they let me sample a couple other wines I was considering purchasing ) Also liked that they serve some real food options including charcuterie boards -- I enjoyed the salad I got. The marguerita pizza was super floppy though. Service was okay - not much explanations of the wine

So much to say about this quintessential wine tasting room. Not only offering some of the best single varietals and blends, but also now offering a menu of cheese, charcuterie, small bites, sandwiches and pizzas, salads, and sweets. It is their Riviera Rose and M5 Blends (both Red and White) that have always been my favorites, but now with their new food menu I have been trying all their other wines and pairing them with tasty offerings. Thanks to staff Kayla, Calla, Maddy, and Alex for taking care of us during our lunchtime visits. It's so nice to have knowledgable people who are passionate about their wines, and are helpful with food recommendations. Food wise, my current favorites have been the SB Smokehouse Salmon on Cucumber, Tuna Melt with Seascape Cheese, Smoked Duck, Cherry & Goat Cheese Salad, and always their Rori's Margerum Amaro Ice Cream. Still a big fan of the M5's, Riviera Rose, and Trois Blondes, but everytime I go in I find a new NEWER favorite. And whether you enjoy their different wine tasting flight options, by the glass, or by the bottle, you definitely need to put Margerum Wine Funk Zone Tasting Room on to your "must-go-to" list.

    Charcuterie & wine!

Very good experience here with my sister mom and aunt. We decided to take the train up here to have a Santa Barbara day. We ended our adventure at this spot and it was the perfect way to close out the day! Wine was great and a good price. The little charcuterie was pleasant. And the outdoor seating provided a lovely, serene vibe with perfect temperatures.

This was our absolute favorite.. we came in on a Saturday. Tasted some very delicious wines. Couple of our favorites were the Pinot Noir and the rosé. Everyone was so friendly so very busy tasting room. Super cute.. They do offer food I believe I saw some very tasty flatbreads going by . We were going to lunch otherwise we would've had one . We decided the next day on Sunday to come back and purchase the rosé and our absolute favorite the Barden Pinot Noir . 2020 It is so smooth and so velvet just a lovely sip . The gal that was helping us , Lisa. She was absolutely fantastic. We had a great conversation tasted some more wines. This is by far our favorite. If you're heading into Santa Barbara for a little tasting down the wine trail please do not miss this place. You will be so sorry you did.

I stop by here every time I visit SB. The place is super cute, the staff is so kind and personable. All the wines taste fantastic. If you want to snack on something without having a full meal, definitely get the goat cheese and olive tapenade. You won't regret it.

Dog friendly! After trying to visit a few other Tasting Rooms that turned out to not be dog friendly, we happily stumbled across Margerum Wine while walking to our next destination. The interior is modern and spacious, but most of the seating is outside. The patio is well appointed and most tables are near a heater. I had the Main Tasting Flight as I was intrigued by the variety of wines offered, and my companion had the STA Rita Hills Flight. Both flights were fantastic, and I definitely plan to return next time I'm in town. Service was attentive, and tasting pours were adequately paced. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and was able to answer questions we had as well.

The aesthetic is intentional and well done. Mexican icons on the walls, thoughtful decor throughout, and fresh flower centerpieces that quietly say someone here actually cares. It feels curated, not forced. I've seen a review floating around claiming Angel is rude, which hasn't matched my experience at all. Every interaction I've had has been professional and friendly. This feels more like a busy Friday night where people were camping without ordering wine and didn't love being reminded that a wine bar is, indeed, for drinking wine. Wine + service * Tasting flights are $25 and well curated * They occasionally offer two-for-one wine flights * Small-batch wines produced in the Santa Ynez Valley by Esfuerzo Wines * Standout favorites include the Coyote Rojo Bordeaux-style blend & the Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, refreshing, and easy to love * Marissa, one of the tasting associates, is consistently hospitable and attentive and makes the experience feel effortless Vibe and events * Fridays feature Lotería with a DJ from 6-10pm * Lively without being chaotic * A solid mix of locals, regulars, and people actually there for the wine If you're looking for good wine, a fun atmosphere, and a Funk Zone spot that blends culture with care, Orgullo Wine is doing it right. And all nestled nicely between Highway 101 and Cabrillo Blvd, and between Garden Street and State Street. Can't even start with what my favorite spots are, I find a new one each time I visit. Usually plenty of street parking on the weekdays, and on the weekends definitely need to use one of the assorted public parkling lots in the area. You'll also find Live DJ's, Karaoke, Trivia Nights, Live Music, Bingo, Happy/Hoppy Hours . . . and sometimes dancing in the streets.

We've been there when it's busy and it can be festive-- pop ups in old vintage rv's or outside beer halls can appear; bands playing in several spots, etc. Experiences can be hit or miss. We visited a winery called Area 51 which sounded fun, but the wines were just okay. But Pali Wine had very good wines, a relaxing patio, and cool live music. The stores vary from very pricey threads to affordable knick knacks; succulents to vintage records to original artwork. Many spaces occupy previously owned old businesses that give it a nostalgic feeling. A few top name wineries have spaces here (i.e. Fess Parker). Definitely worth checking out in looking for a unique time in Santa Barbara.
