Very nice, open and breezy!! Loved the outside patio available to dine. We chose inside to be cooler on the warm day we visited and enjoyed lunch. Our service was outstanding by Rose. She was super friendly, kind and accommodating with our group of 5 ladies, not to mention taking time to fill us in on Cape's upcoming Avocado festival. My friend and I enjoyed a yummy mimosa with our salad. All our salads were very delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The lettuces used were nice and crisp, the meat had lots of flavor and moist. The portion on each salad was excellent and shareable by my friend and myself. For the price, the salads were a great deal considering the price of food has really gone up! It definitely was a great lunch choice since we all wanted salads. The restaurant looked clean. Being a brewery lots of beer choices, but they also had wine, mimosas and a few other choices. They have happy hour for our next visit!! read more

Truly one my favorite breweries in Carpinteria. Not only do they have a great selection of beers but also good. I love their fried pickles and cheese beer dip. I believe you're safe getting anything off their menu, so try it all. Their hard kombucha, Jellybowl POG and Shoreline Guava are a must try, especially if IPAs aren't your thing. Steven was our server, although we have had many great experiences here in the past, Steven may have been our best. He engaged with us with humor and his service was 100% on the money. Every request was met from lemons for our water to acknowledging that "The Indicator" was a great choice of beers. Dog & kid friendly! Popped in for a weekend bevie and took our beers to the front patio. The outdoor space is great for people watching and just relaxing. We were surrounded by families and pups, which made for constant entertainment. I had the Mac Brown and my friend had the Belgian blonde ale. I know it's a brewery, but I didn't have any beer (not the right time). I went in to watch the game and chill with some bites. I ordered the crispy chicken sliders with fries. The sliders are spicy; which I was not expecting. But, I like spicy chicken sandwiches so I didn't mind. However, what made the sandwich spicy was the sauce they used in dripping amounts with every bite. I was able to get an edge piece of the chicken to try without sauce and it was, hmm, dissatisfying. The spicy sauce really masks the chicken in the sliders. I loved their French fries though! They were so good! Waitress was extremely nice at the counter where I ordered and when she walked by my table. So sweet! The restaurant closes at 8 pm, but the game we were watching ran long and went into OT. I'm so glad they didn't rush us out. Awesome service! I'd definitely come back for some fries and to try their craft beers if I'm in the area. read more

We visited Rincon Brewery on New Year's Day during our holiday stay at the nearby campground. We specifically chose this brewery because of its advertised Dog Menu, as we were excited to include our Labrador in the outing. While several other restaurants were open that day, the promise of a dog-friendly atmosphere made Rincon our top choice. It's worth acknowledging that New Year's Day can be a challenging time for many establishments, as staff shortages often arise due to holiday-related call-ins. This might have impacted the overall experience, but I hope my feedback can contribute to some areas of improvement. We arrived around 1:30 PM and found the brewery moderately busy with a good number of patrons. Since we had our dog, we chose to sit outside at the side bar to ensure he wouldn't be in anyone's way. The young waitress took our drink orders and later returned for our food order. When I asked about the advertised dog menu, she seemed puzzled and unaware of its existence. It is posted on their website. Maybe it's at a different location??? After some discussion, she offered a hamburger patty for our dog, which we appreciated and agreed to. For ourselves, we ordered potato skins, sliders, a burger topped with a generous amount of fried onions, and a salad which we ordered oil and vinegar dressing. Unfortunately, the experience took a frustrating turn when our food arrived without utensils. I kindly reminded the server, who assured us they'd bring utensils along with condiments like ketchup and Tabasco sauce, but we ended up waiting for quite some time. As our food began to cool, I decided to go inside to follow up and offered to grab the utensils myself. A gentleman responded positively by saying "absolutely, of course" and seemed eager to resolve the issue, but the utensils still didn't arrive. Eventually, another person from our table had to go back inside, and a patron at the counter--likely noticing our growing frustration--took it upon themselves to grab what we needed from behind the counter. By this point, much of our food was cold. Still chalking it up to the possibility that they were just busy, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the issues continued. The potato skins were burnt, and the potatoes themselves were undercooked, leaving them hard and unappetizing. Our salad arrived without any dressing, making it little more than a pile of dry lettuce. We would have liked to order more drinks, but the waitress never returned to check on us after delivering our food. By the end of our meal, the experience fell far short of what we had hoped for. On the positive side, the brewery is a cute place within walking distance of the campground, and it has great potential. I sincerely hope that our experience was just an unusual situation due to the holiday. With better attention to detail and service, this could be a fantastic spot. read more

We had a large party & reservations on the outdoor patio to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived the hostess had no clue about our reservation and there was no room on the patio. Reservation had been confirmed twice beforehand! They blamed the mixup on the day crew not communicating the information. We had to sit inside the very noisy & hot room & the service was terrible! It was obvious that they lacked the staff and they got slammed all at once. When we finally received our food it was not at all the quality that we expected or had received in the past. Soup was lukewarm, fries were soggy & the fish tacos were a joke!! The appetizers did come out at a reasonable time. The pretzels with cheese dip was good. Soft pretzels and great dip. 4/5 Also had the chicken wings with Buffalo sauce on the side. Wings were crispy and tender. Sauce was a bit on the sweeter side, which im not used to. 4/5 for wings. Cobb salad was okay. Nothing special but waited close to 45 mins for it to come out. 3/5 for salad Classic burger was not good. Patty was dry and thick. The bun was too soft and kind of mushy. No toast in it. I haven't been here in awhile and forgot how great it is! Their safety and hygiene procedures to COVID-19 were excellent. All of the staff were wearing masks. The customers are required to wear masks when walking around, but can take off their masks when seated at their tables. Their menus are contactless, there is hand sanitizer available before entering the restaurant, and overall it felt clean & safe! We ordered 2 flights of beer. We really enjoyed the Belgian blonde, the hazy IPA, and the American lager. We did not like the jelly bowl fruit beer & would not get that one again. We ordered the BBQ burger with sweet potato fries and a side salad. The burger was a huge portion loaded with bbq sauce, crispy onion strings, and bacon. The flavor was really good and would definitely recommend this burger. The sweet potato fries were also amazing. They were thicker and tasted less fried which we really enjoyed. The salad had plenty of cucumbers and needed a few more tomatoes, but overall was fresh and a great addition to our meal. My wife and I were staying in Carpinteria for January 2022 and we walked the mile (Everything is about a mile away it seems in Carp) and I ordered an IPA from the nice bartender. The interior was nice, and my review is only for the one beer I had. It was their flagship IPA and we brought it outside to drink on the patio. It was a solid IPA and it was fun watching the people live their lives and enjoy their Friday in the wonderful town of Carpinteria. Their food options looked a lot better than their Santa Barbara location (I would have loved a pulled pork option in Santa Barbara) Totally great place to enjoy a beer and I got a six pack to go to watch the sunset on the beautiful Carpinteria beach. read more

Great brewery and food combination for the Carpinteria area! We came here on the Monday night before Christmas which means it was packed more than usual. There was a bit of an issue with the seating as a party that came in after us tried to seat themselves, but the hostess was on it and helped us get seated. The food has super large positions and great flavors! Highly recommended the fish tacos with the mango slaw or the fish and chips. Both were very tasty. The beer here is great as well, especially the hazy IPA. The service was just alright as it took awhile for them to come and take our drink order and they also forgot utensils and napkins but those are pretty minor things in my book. I would consider myself a hazy IPA enthusiast as those are the beers I order most and I think their beached hazy was one of the best ones I've had. It had great fruity tones with not too much of a bitter after taste. Even my parents who are not IPA people liked the beer. Loved this spot! Popped by on a whim on a Sunday evening and were seated quickly. The tables were socially distanced with heaters between and orders are taken at the ends of the counter, so I felt very safe. The restroom was clean and they have an all gender stall, which was lovely. Their beer selection is great and the staff is so kind. Our bartender was fantastic and I wish I'd gotten her name. We were having trouble choosing drinks and she offered samples which was so helpful. Food portions are delicious and huge, and lasted me for two meals. You can't go wrong here! read more

Our visit to the Rincon Brewery was disappointing. The 30 minute wait we were told about turned into 50 minutes. Almost none of our requests were met. We asked for outdoor seating, but we were seated near the bar. We asked that a child's food be brought out first, but it came out with all of the adult's food. We asked for a dessert to go. It was not included on the original bill. When we asked for it, our server said that she forgot to place the order. When it was brought out with an additional bill, it was on a plate, so we refused it. Our server, Kelly, was nice but not very competent. We had to get our own silverware and napkins and ask for water 3 times. She disappeared for long periods of time and then ignored us while speaking to other servers. If you have a lot of time or don't have hungry children with you, these things may not be as important as they were to us. The food was good, but not great. read more

Ordered the pan seared fish tacos because the photo on the website looked wonderful.. and the fried pickle appetizer to go -the fish was over cooked-slapped on top of too much coleslaw with a side of burnt tortilla chips...the fried pickle appetizer was in a to go container that should have had a few holes poked in it so they wouldn't get soggy-but they came in a sealed box and they were a limp mess- The fish tacos were so over cooked it was like eating cardboard and after the first taco I just had to toss them- the pickles couldn't be eaten either as they were so limp and soggy the breading came off in the box.... This was a to go order there were no plastic utensils. There were no napkins... I know some places try to get by on orders to go and make them less than acceptable but this was really a poor presentation of what should be... I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. read more

Smash burgers are all the rage now. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Sriracha Smash burger on the menu. I ordered it to go about 6 weeks go. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. A few weeks ago in ordered it again, also to-go. This time it was terrible. Single burger patty instead of two. Barely any house sauce. Dry. Well, tonight I decided to try it again because I craved the burger from 6 weeks ago. I scheduled pickup for 5pm, arrived at 4:55pm and my food was ready. Once I got home I found that the burgers were missing the avocado topping. Not extra topping but the default it should come with. The burger was also cold and overly chewy. This tells me it had been sitting out for too long. I don't think I will order to-go from here again. Two very disappointing orders in a row. YMMV. read more
