It's warm, inviting, and seems to be a gathering place for all sorts to enjoy good company. The food itself was quite good too. Everything seemed to be fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The only thing we were disappointed about was not being able to order from their breakfast menu just after their 11:30 cutoff. Why no brunch?! It's always wonderful to find a place that has gluten-free bread :) There are SO many different options - I cannot wait to try more. Everyone else in the group got bakery treats and they were devoured super quick; They thought the sweets and muffins were delicious. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is because we got the sandwiches to-go and half of the ingredients on mine were missing which was a bummer to find out when unpacking a picnic after a long hike. Great clever name. Beautiful dining space with floor to ceiling windows that provide lots of light. Cozy sofa area for lounging and sturdy chairs for dining. Set up is counter service and then pay. The 2 burner egg station holds up the entire line during busy sunday morning brunch. My ham and cheese croissant was fresh and flaky. My wife had a focaccia style bread rustic breakfast sandwich. She omitted the mushroom tapenade spread and said it was too dry without it. The sandwich guy was too busy frantically taking orders to suggest an alternative .She hates mushrooms. They cut the ends off of all the square flatbreads. It looks like they dispose of those..? Not sure why. Good quality on all the products. The bakery production area is open and enclosed with glass. Everything is baked there. It's a mini version of Panera. The owners are either Polish or Lithuanian since we heard lots of regulars conversing with them. Service is sluggish at the egg station and at the register. Several people ordered ahead and still got stuck at the register. Love that everything is fresh and the interior is decorated nicely. However, none of the lunch menu options really appealed to me. I tried the caprese panini. It was good but I will definitely venture out of my comfort zone and try something different next time. Great place to bring your laptop, grab a cup of coffee and do some work or studying. There is nothing better than having a great little cafe in your neighborhood. Rustic Knead is the perfect spot for a great cup of coffee, breakfast or lunch and their pastries are amazing! My favs are their almond paste croissant and the Farmer's breakfast sandwich. The restaurant is big but cozy and they have a good system for ordering. In addition to the great menu items there is a nice assortment of packaged cookies and goodies if you're on the run. Everything here is fresh and the highest quality - I'm a big fan!! read more

Delicious!! Go there! You have you! The baguettes are absolutely divine and they taste like they're from Grandma's kitchen in Poland. The pastries have crispy shells and moist fillings. Sandwiches are excellent! My favorite are the breakfast sandwiches. I'd love to see a true "club sandwich" on the menu - turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, aioli? Also, more salads and soups!!! This place was wonderful. I just wish there was one closer to where I lived. They make their bread right there in the restaurant where you can watch the baker make it through glass walls. They also have all sorts of other goodies on top of their great food. The ambience was very quaint and sweet too. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be stopping here again. read more

Rustic Knead may sound like a lumberjack massage parlor, but it's actually an awesome cafe with great food, service, and coffee. As a remote worker, I also have to say it has the perfect level of ambient noise (bonus points for no obnoxiously loud espresso-maker noise) and music that helps me focus in the morning. read more

They had good looking rustic baguettes behind the counter so I ordered one. Guy went in back and brought one out covered in two baguette bags, probably because when I took it out of the bags it was soft and unappetizing looking. Pretty sure it wasn't freshly baked. Could have bought a better one at any grocery store. Seems like a bait and switch, the ones in front looked good. Won't be going back. read more
