So. A second time. This time was breakfast. Plain waffle. Sausage patties. Coffee. Basic. Executed perfectly. Again the service was great too. I swear if I lived here I'd be here daily. I can't understand why it isn't busier though perhaps because I'm here on weekdays and off hours but I hope the business is doing as well as it deserves and it deserves all the love. read more

We do love this place BUT...some menu items say "toast & pancakes" but if you mistakenly ask for your choice of toast thinking you will ALSO get pancakes, you'll be told you have to pay for them. When you mention it's not your fault the menu is wrong, they argue. Well, the one server argues. That's not cool. Fix the menu please; otherwise it's false advertising that leads to bad feelings from regular customers. I'd like my pancake please. Oh but the skirt steak is delicious; char broiled and done exactly to order. And they burnt the hash browns as requested for a change so that was also good. read more

Just say no. It is located in what looks like an abandoned strip mall. The car out front with no hood looked like it belonged. I harbored seconds thoughts about going in but I was really very hungry. To my surprise and relief it was much nicer on the inside, not exactly fine dining but would do. As it wasn't busy I was told to sit wherever. Almost immediately I got a menu and placed a drink order, which is to say coffee(very good coffee). In that was the last time anyone came to my table. The Farmers skillet looked good but I will never know as no one came to take my order. Not sure how long I waited but I did read seven pages in a rather heavy book on French history. The coffee ran out with two pages left in the chapter. I finished the chapter, slipped $4 under the coffee cup and left. To the girl in the green shirt, the 75 cent tip was because I don't have a quarter on me, not because of the service. read more

First time here... and just when I was about to give it 5 stars, I had to subtract a few foe a ridiculous policy they hsve: I ordered a Southwestern omlette. It was fantastic. I only ate half of it, so I asked my server for a souffle cup of the Hollandaise sauce to go. She saud, there would be a charge. Ok...I'm thinking a quarter?? Nope. Half a buc?? Still no. $2!!!? And of course...I wanted her to explain that. He said because they would have to reheat that little bit for me and have to charge accordingly. GET REAL!! Been living in the area for 33 years. Hubby and I wanted to get breakfast and everywhere was crowded and there was a wait, we didn't have time and to be somewhere. Saw Cherry Hill Cafe on Yelp and thought let's check it out! We were not disappointed, the service was excellent and personal and the food was delicious. We had breakfast, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage pattie's, biscuits and gravy! Wow! Delicious and we were stuffed! My husband and I went there for breakfast, I knew my husband would be unhappy quickly. But we have been there for breakfast and the food is excellent. My husband does not like to eat outside and on a picnic table. I got the cinnamon French Toast, I recommend it, and the sausage patties were good. I over salted my eggs, but that was my fault. One other thing that was bothersome was the bugs that wasn't anyone's fault. My husband got some kind of skillet, which he enjoyed. He got pancakes, but after he had a bite of my French Toast, he pushed the pancakes away and helped me with the French Toast. The service was excellent. The chicken tenders kids meal had plenty of meat and fries. The chicken wrap included fresh veggies and had great flavor. If you are not a meat or lactose eater person, but order eggs from this place, expect remnants still in your scramble/omelette. They clearly use the same spatula and cooking surface for all eggs. I ordered simple scrambled egg whites. When I got them, they had ham, peppers, and even sausage particles in them. Cross "contamination" is not ideal for someone with dietary restrictions. Around 8-10$ a dish. The place is super outdated. Looks like a cheap hotel from the 70's. I ordered a "pancake sandwich", which consisted of a slice of ham between two pancakes and egg on top. Hubby ordered a, "buffalo chicken egg benedict." I personally disliked both of the dishes. Perhaps their breakfast is not a forte. Sometime in the not so near future i might try some lunch. We were wanting breakfast and this place got reasonable reviews - there IS a dearth of good sounding places in the area, so we decided on Cherry Hill. The bathrooms were dirty and the trash bins were overflowing. They just couldn't have had that many customers that day - if I'd gone in there first I'd never have even ordered food. I ordered Heuvos Rancheros and it was a couple of fried eggs, gloppy refried beans, and tired rice with a "red" sauce on top. Really unappetizing in looks and taste. After sitting for 20 minutes asked where my food was and was told it was being remade because it was given out wrong and was never informed that. After our order was placed, it took a while for them the bring our food. I asked to place a quick to go order as soon as out food came, and was told my the waitress she had to attend other customers and would be right back. We finished our food, never was able to place a to go order, and was handed a receipt where they incorrectly charged us. They called a young lady over who proceeded to say she "confirmed" the order before walking away from our table... however, the young lady was not the waitress who took our order. This place would get one star if not for the fact they removed an item from my check. Still, $28 for a bad experience is pretty disappointing. I did see that they were fast at getting carry out orders together and out the door, that might be a better way to go if you want to still give this place a shot. read more

Stopped by on my way to work for breakfast. They open at 5:30am which is great for me because I have to be at work at 6:30am. The waitress was very nice and polite. I ordered the Joliet special (2 pancakes, 2 eggs 2 slices of bacon). The cakes are nice size and I got 3 slices of bacon! Very good flavor. The eggs were Ok. This is a good place for breakfast especially for us early birds. I will have to try their lunch next. Did I mention how nice the staff was and that the meal was around $7! read more
