We do love this place BUT...some menu items say "toast & pancakes" but if you mistakenly ask for your choice of toast thinking you will ALSO get pancakes, you'll be told you have to pay for them. When you mention it's not your fault the menu is wrong, they argue. Well, the one server argues. That's not cool. Fix the menu please; otherwise it's false advertising that leads to bad feelings from regular customers. I'd like my pancake please. Oh but the skirt steak is delicious; char broiled and done exactly to order. And they burnt the hash browns as requested for a change so that was also good.

Just say no. It is located in what looks like an abandoned strip mall. The car out front with no hood looked like it belonged. I harbored seconds thoughts about going in but I was really very hungry. To my surprise and relief it was much nicer on the inside, not exactly fine dining but would do. As it wasn't busy I was told to sit wherever. Almost immediately I got a menu and placed a drink order, which is to say coffee(very good coffee). In that was the last time anyone came to my table. The Farmers skillet looked good but I will never know as no one came to take my order. Not sure how long I waited but I did read seven pages in a rather heavy book on French history. The coffee ran out with two pages left in the chapter. I finished the chapter, slipped $4 under the coffee cup and left. To the girl in the green shirt, the 75 cent tip was because I don't have a quarter on me, not because of the service.

First time here... and just when I was about to give it 5 stars, I had to subtract a few foe a ridiculous policy they hsve: I ordered a Southwestern omlette. It was fantastic. I only ate half of it, so I asked my server for a souffle cup of the Hollandaise sauce to go. She saud, there would be a charge. Ok...I'm thinking a quarter?? Nope. Half a buc?? Still no. $2!!!? ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME??? for a little plastic cup of sauce?? If I asked for a soup cup...yeah maybe. She said I should have asked for extra when I placed my order?! And of course...I wanted her to explain that. He said because they would have to reheat that little bit for me and have to charge accordingly. GET REAL!! I've worked in restaurants....I know how sauces are lined on on the cook line. Just throw some in a cup and make my day.. Judt poor management. Well how was I to know that I had going to need extra sauce??

We have heard so many awesome things about this place from so many people, so we finally made it…read moreout to visit and LOVED it just the same! The place is beautiful, atmosphere bright, clean and welcoming, beautiful art, excellent service and the food and coffee was freaking delicious! Usually, going to a breakfast place in the past, we would expect the same types of food as everywhere else. This place, though, actually has creative dishes packed with FLAVOR as well as basics but also super yummy. I was very impressed by the food and the fact that it came out nice and HOT. Our server kept our coffees filled, water jugs on the table, he checked on us and made sure we were taken care of and everyone was very happy with their meals. We loved it so much we ended up going back the next day to bring more family! :) The lattes are excellent and even the decaf coffee tasted great. Finally a restaurant that brings back dining as an enjoyable experience. I noticed they have a private room in the back, too... for parties, definitely taking note of that for future. Outdoor patio was closed but I imagine it's great in the summer. All in all, we highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back. I think others enjoyed it too as the parking lot was packed and tables filled, not sure if they accept reservations but might be worth calling ahead of time if you do go. We were able to be seated quickly but it did fill up. Seems like this is a new destination spot! Definitely our new favorite place. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and the chorizo bowl...we also loved the chocolate chip pancakes, the Sunday Morning plate and lattes. Next time we plan on going for lunch, they have beer, mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks we are excited to try. Careful, addicting yumifications! lol J&S

Let's start with the great…read more.. Location is easy to find. 30 minutes from my home, but people online love it, so we took the drive. No wait. Seated right away on a Saturday morning and we were seated where we wanted for college football viewing purposes. Capacity was at about a third of the restaurant. Friendly staff. Everyone we encountered was nice and wanted to be helpful. We had the Sara(h)s...one was training the other and they were very kind. It is so clean inside. I felt like the staff had been well trained in front of house upkeep which was really nice. The acai bowl and seasonal pistachio iced latte had great flavors. But... Hot coffee and iced latte came out about ten minutes apart. This is a pet peeve of my husband's. He doesn't want to receive and start to enjoy his food and drinks until I receive mine. I was also raised that you don't start at the table until everyone has everything, so this was not the best start. (I know that's not how it always works out, but a couple minutes and good communication can make this a reality most of the time.) The avocado toast came out with the cream of chicken and rice soup. The soup is not a cream based soup. It's a very thin, mostly clear broth with some form of dairy added, but never would it be considered a "cream of" soup. It did not deliver and unfortunately we sent it back. The toast was a plain bagel (as the option requested), but if that bagel hit a toaster on the way out, there was no indication once it hit the plate. Room temperature without any color on it whatsoever. The avocado spread had a little seasoning so that made it a little less underwhelming. Those items arrived together which were both for my husband and when we asked about my food, we learned it was being dressed at the coffee station. Our kind server came by and told us it was almost ready two more times (it was an açaí bowl). I asked about my extra crispy bacon and was told they would check on it. The açaí bowl eventually arrived and it was well thought out and very flavorful. But no bacon and my husband was done eating by now. So I asked for containers and the bacon in a to-go container. The bacon had obviously been rushed and was undercooked with white fat clearly still visible. Our server said the manager took off the bacon and the soup, but never bothered to stop by and say anything. That was a service fail in my eyes. It wasn't really about the money. It was about what appeared to be training issues in FOH, BOH and coordination across the board. $30 plus $12 tip, we had two coffees, a small açaí bowl, avocado on a bagel (not toasted) and undercooked bacon. Not on the repeat list at this point in time. I imagine if people are honest about the areas of improvement, this business could thrive. The full bar, fun coffee drinks, biscuits that LOOK amazing, location and sweet staff could make this work. I hope they do.

My husband likes meat, so we go out to eat fairly often so that my husband can get the foods that I do not allow in the house. We went to Niko's Breakfast Club and my husband loved it. There was truly nothing for me to eat except hashbrowns. They were very good, but it would have been nice if they had at least a few vegan options. Vegetarians always have plenty to eat at a breakfast spot. I believe that eggs and hashbrowns (no toast) are suitable for Celiac/gluten-free diets. They do have one gluten-free pancake. The service was fantastic! 5 stars, but they need to expand their menu offerings for people of different dietary needs/choices. Personally, we would not return due to the distance but mostly because they have nothing for me to eat.

He attempted to call and speak to someone, the receptionist apologized but then a woman claiming to be a "manager" took the call and got defensive almost immediately, versus hearing him out. The call was allegedly dropped from their end, so he calls back and the "manager" again wants to argue about it. I'm unsure what going on here, but I don't think we'll be back. Sad for sure, we were excited for a new breakfast spot locally.

No I have ate TONS of breakfast places and had only veggies heated up honestly. I can name 6 places in orland, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Joliet, romeoville, I can eat just "veggie skillet no egg, no cheese" and it taste just fine. Ordered it and after few bites did not taste fresh, in fact tasted dry? And frozen. I got almost sick IMMEDIATELY. Mind you I paid " like "$20+" for this. My stomach was so messed up, I wanted to Vomit. Also note my boyfriend ordered Cheesey Egg Omelette, and also refused to eat it after 4 bites. it's not just my meal. Maybe what we ordered was just not the freshest veggie, or egg, or cheese, or... ? I don't know what the heck happened but $47 down the drain. 3 bites each. We asked for a check and walked out. I hate to leave a bad review but atleast the $5 strawberry juice, which was you know... not really fresh or juice was just flavored water, no sugar, was decent. ALSO, my boyfriend did like the pancakes. So... just order the pancakes Service was alright. Ambiance was alright. Food, personally I wouldn't come back. Even if you paid me. My stomach hurt so bad. The place looks nice tho, and lots of options, just don't take anyone who you love there, maybe an enemy.
