The pizza is so bomb. This was our first time near our hotel & the customer service was amazing. Super helpful & would definitely come back.

After some wine tasting we decided to stop at one of our favorite pizza spots. We ordered the combo and the breadsticks. The service here was fast and they always checked on us. Plenty of indoor seating.

We ordered this to-go, so I can't comment much on the service or ambiance inside the restaurant, but the service for delivery was great and timely. We ordered: - 11" Medium Margherita Pizza - The Margherita pizza was solid. With the mozzarella cheese, basil leaves and tomato slices, it was delicious. - Italian Breadsticks (No Mozzarella) - Not a fan. I found these to be a bit on the drier side and not very flavorful. I wish we have gotten the Cheesy Italian Breadsticks with the mozzerella. They came with the option to choose two dips, which we chose the marinara sauce and ranch. One thing I liked was that if you don't like any of the pizza options, you can build your own pizza pretty easily. Overall, I would definitely be back in the future to try other items from the menu.

Service is friendly. You bring your number to your table after you order. Pizzas were amazing. Wonderful crust, sauce, and toppings. I really enjoyed the breadsticks with buffalo chicken. They brought us extra ranch as well.

What a find this place was! First time here and will definitely be back again! A group of four of us came on in on a Thursday, early evening, found a spot to sit, and ordered at the counter. Really great vibes inside with multiple seating options...loved the decor too! We opted for a comfy booth with a TV built in the wall area. Ordered was a delish bbq chicken pizza, fantastic breadsticks with dipping sauces, a tasty flatbread wrap, and the biggest medium sized salad ever! It was plenty for us all, and we took a lot home. Also ordered was a kids one- topping pizza that came with a scoop of gelato, and a drink- super cool! The servers, cashiers, and Manager were all friendly, attentive, and accommodating. This was a perfect stop on the way home from the coast, and we were all super satisfied!

Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. They must have gone through a complete makeover ever since I was here last time. New delicious menu, great beer and wine selections, and they have gelato!!! Many customers gone for gelato after they're done with dinner, including myself. It is a perfect setting! I really enjoyed my chocolate cookie with cafe latte gelato. Pizza and flatbread sandwich were delicious, super tasty with tons of flavors. I was already contemplating what to order when we come back next, like tomorrow. Hope you'll get to try Rustic Fire too!

Stayed across the street at Adelaide Inn and came across this pizza place that was so good! The service was fast and they were very helpful with suggestions. Definitely recommend the buffalo chicken cheese bread (you have to ask, not on menu). The pizza was good and we ended with their gelato.

Nice pit stop on our way to Pismo. Clean and spacious inside. The parking lot is shared with several neighboring business. Ordered a medium pepperoni and fresh jalapeño pizza. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great pizza sauce flavor. A great selection of local wines and beers along with tasty treats like cookies and gelato. The customer service was on point. Very nice and helpful. Will definitely stop by again soon.

Quick and easy service, really good food and drink options. We did pizza and the crust was perfect and ingredients were fresh and delicious!

Their medium is huge!

Craved for pizza and salad while driving into town and saw this place off the 46, so we decided to stop and give it a try! It was a Thursday evening around 6pm and the line was out the door. We almost didn't stay, but the line moved so quickly that before we knew it, we were already inside (yay!). We checked out their menu, knew what we wanted, placed and paid for our order at the counter, and found a table for two. Cool seeing all the beer kegs up top, ample table seating and some booths inside. Order up: Roasted Garlic Chicken with Bacon Greek Salad Our food came out hot and fresh! The medium pizza was decent in size, savory, flavorful, and the crust was just right! The delicious Greek salad (also medium) was more than enough for two people, thank you for having pitted olives in there...effortless eating! Glad we stayed and gave them a try! This place did not disappoint! CHEERS and happy eating till next time!

This place is amazinggg and the food is to die for!! I am so bummed I didn't try this place sooner. Ordered a pepperoni pizza with the original crust and it was cooked to perfection - a crispy crust, with just the right amount of cheese, sauce and pepperonis! Their Italian cheesesticks are also phenomenal. Finished the entire meal and wished we had ordered more! I can't wait to come back here again asap!

We stopped here for lunch while on a road trip. This place has good food and the dining room is casual and comfortable. I'll be back!

This place has personality! The customer service from the chap taking our order was good and proper, unlike the bar north of here. We were happy to be given that amount of respect. They also provide donations to local charities that change with the season. Here's our order: Philly Cheese Steak. Very good. 4 out of 5. Could've been less dry overall. BBQ Burger was yummy. 4.5 out of 5. Bbq sauce was unique and smoky. Beef was cooked to a perfect medium well, but did not cover their yummy brioche bun as much. Pulled Pork Sandwich with Cole slaw on the side. 5 out of 5. The House Fried Kettle Chips are good, but we prefer their fries. They are thin sliced goodness, perfectly seasoned and very crispy. (Someone said their loaded fries are to die for.) Lastly, they are a bar as well, but gave off no weird sentiment when we said we did not want drinks. Mad respect for that! All in all, a balanced 5 out of 5 from us!

The outdoor seating gives it a fun, casual vibe, though it was pretty hot when we visited since there's no indoor option. We came with a large group and everyone ordered separately, which resulted in our food coming out at really different times--something to keep in mind if you're dining with others. Despite the timing issues, it's a solid spot for a relaxed meal if you don't mind the heat and aren't in a rush.

Then, of course, one would need to thank the bar for their drinks and presentations, which are awesome. You need a bit of showmanship to perform and serve at a place like this. Ok, here we go. Tucked away on a back street in Paso lies this interesting and very amazing venue. I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams going to a place like this, let alone what was inside. To be honest, I at first felt like I was entering the twilight zone, the first time I came here. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, " Is this what it felt like going to something like this during prohibition times? Now, in this post, I will not share all about your entrance, etc., into this place, as that takes the fun out of it, but I must add that if you are in the Paso area, this is a must on your list. Let's go back and recreate yesteryear, a very intimate and very exclusive, club-like atmosphere. You never know who is watching you; it's all that mystery. Does it feel a bit like the game CLUE"? You tell me. :-) Just remember this: speak easy, abide by their rules, speak quietly, and have fun!

It had been recommended by…read morefriends who live in the area, and my first experience was solid enough that I was looking forward to coming back. On my first visit (evening), we walked in without a reservation and were quickly seated at the last available table. The place had a lively atmosphere, and it looked like part of the space turns into more of a dance floor later in the night. I had the French onion soup, raw oysters, and the pot pie, all of which were good. The pot pie in particular is something I would recommend. This most recent visit was for lunch on a weekday. There were plenty of open tables, and we were seated right away. Parking was easy, which is typical outside of busy weekends. The experience this time around was more mixed. We wanted to order oysters Rockefeller, but they were completely out of oysters, which was disappointing. I ordered a black and tan, which tasted fine, but it came with a design on top that I wasn't expecting. Not a big deal, just different from what I had in mind. For food, my girlfriend ordered the blackened salmon and said it was good. I went with the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef itself was flavorful and served over mashed potatoes, which were well done. The cabbage, though, wasn't what I expected. Instead of a more traditional preparation, it was grilled with char marks and topped with au jus. The texture came out a bit rubbery and didn't really absorb the flavor well, which made that part of the dish underwhelming. Service was okay but not great. My water ran empty at one point, and I had to ask for a refill. We also ordered boneless wings as an appetizer and asked for extra ranch, which didn't come out until we reminded the server. The biggest issue, though, was something I noticed from our table with a partial view into the kitchen. An employee had their shoe up on a shelf that appeared to be holding clean dishes, which didn't come across as sanitary. I also saw food being adjusted on a plate by someone who didn't appear to be the cook. I can't speak to what's happening behind the scenes in terms of handwashing or procedures, but visually, it raised concerns. That part of the experience honestly left a bad impression. Between that, the missed items, and some inconsistencies with the food, it changed how I feel about coming back. My first visit had me excited to return, but after this one, I'm not sure I would.

Most places were closed. Hunger was no longer a condition; it was an animal. Then Street Side Alehouse appeared like a nighttime oasis between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Paso itself deserves a quick salute. For a town of roughly 25,000, it seems to have somehow negotiated with the restaurant gods and won. Downtown is charming, walkable, warmly lit, and centered around a city park that at night looks almost suspiciously pleasant--like Woodstock, Illinois and Santa Fe Plaza had a Central Coast baby and taught it manners. Inside Street Side: rustic wood, beer-barrel décor, a lively bar, and enough TVs to convince your attention span it had entered federal witness protection. Baseball, hockey, basketball, beer menus, interactive trivia, and--most importantly--the Dodgers losing on one screen, which for this lifelong Giants fan counted as complimentary dessert. Despite the packed house, the host/owner/possible Swiss Army knife of hospitality spotted two hungry outsiders and seated us quickly. No drama. No "kitchen's closing" death stare. Just calm, friendly competence. Our waitress was excellent: warm, sharp, sincere, professional, and blessed with the kind of personality that can make a tired traveler feel less like roadkill in camouflage shorts. Service: easy 5/5. Food became the main event. My lady wanted comfort food, and the Street Mac n Cheese delivered creamy, happy, elbow-pasta therapy in a little skillet. 4.5/5. The bacon-wrapped jalapeños were smoky, cheesy, spicy little danger logs with dipping sauce--very good, 4.4/5. The flank steak (chimichurri sp?) salad was colorful and fresh, though the steak itself was a bit tough, so call that a 3.5/5: respectable, but not the valedictorian. Then came my lamb burger: arugula, feta, aioli, and a giant stewed tomato wearing balsamic like it had just come back from a very emotional opera. Excellent. Messy in the right way. Rich, savory, satisfying. 5/5. The rosemary fries were crisp and solid, though I would've liked the rosemary to kick the door open a little harder. Cocktail-wise, I had an Old Fashioned that did exactly what an Old Fashioned should do after a long drive: lower the volume of civilization. My lady had a Cali Squeeze Blood Orange IPA and was happy. That matters. The whole night had that accidental-road-trip-magic quality where you look around and think: why have we driven between the Bay Area and Southern California hundreds of times and never treated Paso Robles like the strategic overnight masterpiece it clearly is? You can launch from here toward Santa Barbara, Monterey, Big Sur, Salinas/Steinbeck country, Fresno, Bakersfield, Sacramento, Stockton, even Death Valley if your GPS has a gambling problem. Street Side was the perfect late-night rescue: lively but not obnoxious, casual but not lazy, sports-bar energy without becoming a fluorescent punishment chamber, and food good enough to make two tired travelers feel like they had discovered a new California road-trip hack. Thank you, Street Side Alehouse & Eatery, for feeding us when we were starving, charming us when we were tired, and giving Paso Robles another reason to become a regular stop. 5/5. Absolute Friday-night save.
