Found Tetto while trying to find a cool spot to watch the sunset - it was one of the few places open on a Tuesday evening (around 6pm). We sat to watch the sunset with a couple of cocktails - a twisted hound and a newly old fashioned. Both drinks were good and tasted fresh. Stopped in for a drink after dinner, walking through the park appreciating the decorations, lights and watching the holiday parade for a bit. We found a spot on one of the couches by a fire pit and under a heater. It was very cozy and ordered 2 Old Fashions. We struck up a conversation with the couple on the other side of the fire pit and had a great time getting to know them and talking about recent travels, kids, their amazing dog, etc. our server was a bit slow but probably not her fault as there were several groups there and I only saw her taking orders. Drinks were very good and we enjoyed the experience. We have been here before and it's a good spot to check out the views and sunset etc. We will be back. read more

Fantastic experience!!! After checking in to our room. and getting settled, my wife and I made our way to Tetto on the roof to check it out, have a couple drinks and plan out the next couple days of our trip. It was a chilly night and was also during offseason so we were the only people up there at the time we went up, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We were assisted by Christina, Osiel, Eden and Nate all of whom were very delightful to talk with and all of whom gave us some great ideas of what there is to do around town. We tried a number of their cocktails on the menu as well as enjoyed a neat pour of Clase Azul tequila. The cocktails were expertly crafted and served and I feel we're reasonably priced considering the location. Tetto also offers food to guests via the restaurant next door. Since we had been on the road all day, my wife and I each opted for a salad. I had a grilled Ceasar with chicken and my wife had the wedge salad with chicken both of which were very good. We had really hoped to make it back on Wednesday for the live music, but were unable to make it up. I am glad that we made it to Tetto at least once though and it will definitely be on our list of places to visit if we go back. read more

First they think they are in Hollywood and being really selective, even though the bar is completely empty they turned away all of our party who came later bc we were a large party and didn't book thru their events coordinator to "guarantee their 20% gratuity". They are on the 4th floor and not even facing downtown park. We came and the rude young fake big lips girl literally came up and told us that we couldn't order bc we're part of a large party and needed to be in 1 tab so that they can guarantee their 20% gratuity. She was super rude and aggressive about it. She was like yelling at us at the end demanding a credit card now. Look, we don't mind paying the gratuity (and we did put 20% grat) but to be in 1 tab and the way she said it, was super rude. We are not kids or dashers. We are grown adults. There are better ways to come about that or present that to customers and no need to be rude about it. We'll pay! We did end up ordering waiting for the rest of the party. The drinks ARE NOT GOOD!. One of the worst whiskey sours I ever had. It was just all sour mix. The "bartenders" are not real or trained. We've been to some really good bars. We just came from the Alchemist Garden and they are real bartenders with well made cocktails. The bar manager blocked all the rest of our party from coming up, so we all left, and the place was empty. Their motto is they rather not service large party, be empty and turn away business who are willing to pay for a badly made $20 cocktail. We took our business to Pappis, who was happy to accommodate our large party. Oh even if you're not in the same party and sit with random people they will force you to have 1 tab. My husband and I finally tried out this rooftop bar. What a cool place!! It has many options (bar seating, high top tables and sectional groupings). There is at least one grouping around a fire-pit and there are many fixed and mobile heaters. The space can be completely covered, to keep the space dry and allow this bar to remain open all year, not seasonally. There happened to be very good live entertainment that night, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The views are quite nice as well. Service was very friendly, without being hovering. We really enjoyed our drinks, which included an Old Fashioned and the Twisted Hound (a vodka drink with St. Germain and grapefruit juice). They also have some good, like charcuterie and flatbread pizzas, though we did not have food on this occasion (but will definitely return to try it out). I've had some of the best experiences at this rooftop bar. The staff are amazing and so accommodating. My fiancé and I had our first date at this rooftop bar. We had a great experience then with some amazing drinks. Fast forward some time later and I ended up renting out the space to propose to my now fiancé. He was very kind and attentive to us and consistently made sure our experience was up to par so good that we went the next evening on Friday and got to know him a little bit! Okay! I did it and visited a "trendy" rooftop bar. I did not know what to expect, but what I didn't expect was to be ripped off. Sat at the bar so I was able to watch the drinks being made. We were staying at The Piccolo hotel so when we found out there was a rooftop bar we had to try it. It's was 97 degrees on a Saturday night so we were the only people up there. There were lots of staff members and they didn't seem overly anxious to see us. We ordered spicy margaritas and man they were definitely spicy and delicious. We also ordered a charcuterie board and a flatbread. The charcuterie came out quick and it was rather pathetic looking. The cheese was hard and flavorless. It literally felt like a bunch of dice. The nuts were a ton of walnuts that were just a cheap filler. The crackers (if that's what they were) looked like communion wafers. We actually sent the cheese tray back and canceled the flatbread because we were afraid it would be a frozen pizza. We ran into another couple in the elevator and they also said their charcuterie was terrible. For $31, don't order it! read more

The manager at Tetto does a great job of working the entire area to make sure all patrons are taken care of and cleaning up as needed. Unfortunately this is not too common these days. The staff followed his lead with hustle. The space is excellent with beautiful views, sun shades, retractable overhead roof shade, and plenty of seating. We are locals and went as a group. We decided to sit with another group of people, some of whom were strangers. The staff forced us to have 1 tab for everyone though we did not know everyone. We asked them not to. 3 people tried going up to the bar to order drinks separately. There were SO many staff members standing around doing nothing but visiting with one another. They would not sell anyone a drink separate from the combined tab. They told one person that we needed to learn how to Venmo each other so we could pay as one big group and then pay each other back. I have tried calling 3 times to speak with a manager, but no one is ever there and no one ever calls me back. They could have made at least 3x the money. How sort sighted can you be?! read more

I was excited to try this new-ish spot in Paso Robles but unfortunately was very disappointed with the level of service and cocktails. This is a rooftop bar at the swanky piccolo hotel in downtown Paso Robles. The location is great but the bar was a sore disappointment. Both cocktails were not well made - the Paloma was super sour and the black pearl was too sweet. When asked if we can swap out the Paloma m, the water seemed annoyed and told us it was made with ingredients in the menu. He finally decided to let us swap It for a glass if wine but this when served was full of bits of cork and completely un-drinkable. For the high priced drinks and the location in the upscale hotel, I definitely would have expected better service and drinks. This spot is a bit unusual for Paso where most restaurants and bars have been great - will definitely not be visiting this place again. read more

I haven't had a bad cocktail and I love that they have a seasonal menu. As a local, it makes it so much fun to come back and try something new. So far for food, I've had their charcuterie, Margherita flatbread, and yucca fries and they've all been delicious! As for the atmosphere, it's so nice to come on a Saturday after work because there's always such a nice breeze! I'm between and two and a three, but the pricing on drinks at this rooftop venue is not in keeping with pricing at other nice spots we visited in Paso. This very attractive but chilly open air, modern setting on top of a new boutique hotel in downtown Paso Robles is worth checking out. However, I have to concur with other Yelpers that something seems amiss with wine pours (a single glass of local wine) from $30 to $40 a glass (with no lower prices even in the $20 a glass for a more cost effective glass of any red wine) is somewhat shocking and certainly not welcoming for guests. In a town where you can find world-class wines for $45 or $60 a bottle, charging $40 a glass for most of your red wines on offer (and $200-$300 a bottle) seems odd and off putting. We weren't greeted upon arrival, and we were left to figure thing out as we emerged from the elevator. They apparently had table service, but this was not clear since the only staff was at the bar, so we ordered from the bar. We encountered friendly bartenders who none the less are not mixologists. Ours seemed to stumble over basic cocktail construction, which starting at the steep price of $19 for a small overly iced cocktail is still somehow $20 less (per glass)than the majority of their red wine selections. The pricing here is amiss, and frankly, impossible to justify despite the lovely setting. We had two cocktails and a mock tail for about $70, and most of that was unfortunately ice. We enjoyed the fire pits, blankets and space heaters, the setting and the friendly staff, but in all my days of enjoying wine in Napa, Sonoma, and places around the world, I have never been so surprised at a price point as at the Piccolo in Paso Robles. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED I had my 30th party at tetto on the 17/12/22 from 3PM to 7PM (day time, remember that) I would not recommended this place to anyone for a party or event. It's was very unorganised, Hardly any communication was made prior to my party via email, I had to chase them for everything One huge let down was the area I hired! I hired the "POSITANO ALFRESCO" (bar area with the umbrellas) I was under the impression that I had the whole area as it stated on the venue layout when choosing which section I wanted to hire out. When I get there, 1/4 of the space was sectioned off for us. They told me they done that because I didn't have 120 people even though that area is for 120 people standing OR 50 people seated. I had 40 people but I was never asked if I wanted my guest seated or standing? There weren't any seats available for anyone to sit on anywhere! My mum had to go find one herself. Was I told that prior to my party, that I would only get a tiny little section of the whole area? No I did not!!!! About 30 minutes after we arrived my little brother who is 22 was asked for ID randomly which he forgot to bring (his fault) Keep in mind this is a day time party from 3pm-7pm. They made him leave!!!!! 55 minute taxi home at 4pm because he did not have his ID on him. It's not like it was late at night. What if we were at your venue for dinner as a family, would he not be aloud in? Absolutely ridiculous! I read through the terms and conditions and it states that minors can stay until 8pm but my brother couldn't? Interesting.. They also didn't ask anyone else there for ID, Not even my 18 year old little sister! Just my brother who I believe was judged the second he walked in. Disgusting They ran out of mid strength beers 20 minutes into the party, my partner only drinks mid strengths so that was a big let down. There is a bottle shop right downstairs but of course they didn't go get any. My older sister brought balloons which they would not allow us to bring in as they were not approved by the events manger prior. Speaking of the events manager I don't remember his name but he was very cold towards me the whole time and did not say sorry about anything. Just looked at me with a plain look on his face and basically said too bad about everything! He didn't care what so ever. There was one lady there that did try to smooth things over with me, she was very nice and said sorry a number of times for all the stuff ups but sorry its just not good enough. I still felt the need to write a review to give the head up for others that may book this place For the food I picked 6 canapés from the menu and there were 2 out of the 6 were not what I selected. I don't have anything bad to say about the food other then the beef sliders were a little cold. Also they didn't bring my cake out until about 15 minutes before they kicked us out so that was very rushed and as soon as it hit 7pm not one person could get anymore drinks, they kicked us out as fast as they could. It's a rainy Saturday late afternoon, we are the only patrons at Tetto. I ordered the spicy cocktail and my friend a Long Island no tequila. We are sober and not young and the manager informs us we don't make Long Islands here, we don't like the image. However he could have as many martinis as he wanted, wtf??? Just a suggestion, go to Taste, better craft cocktails, less expensive and they actually make you the drink you want without acting pretentious. I really dislike the direction Paso's dining scene is headed. If it weren't tourist driven places with this attitude would go out of business. read more
