I had such high hopes for this new exciting restaurant. Nope, didn't happen! Let's start with my cocktail, a signature Old Fashion "All Fall Down", super sweet, and even with a huge ice cube in it, it was super small. The other person at our table with the same drink was almost double the size, still super sweet, not made very well. Next let's go to the appetizer, Corn Cheese Dip served warmish almost cold, sort of a sweet/savory creamy dip served with chips. Although it had good flavor, it most definitely should be served hot! Moving onto the hamburgers three of us at the table had ordered, all barely cooked. I cut mine in half after preparing it with sauce and the pickles that came with it on the side and realized this. I had to ask for it to be sent back given it was so red, I was basically told it was my fault because the menu states they will be cooked medium unless I asked for something different. I could have dealt with medium, but not raw! They did take it back and told me they would fix the order. When it returned, it was my same exact burger, (cut in half because I cut it after preparing it) stripped of the pickles and the same cheese from it all over the sides of it! I'm not sure, but it seems when you send something back that I touch, cut in half and prepared, it's a health hazard, not to mention tacky to recook it. It was put on a new bun and served with new pickles. Same fries on the plate, now cold returned with the same old burger. For a 25.00 burger with fries, you'd think they'd do better! The other two at the table decided to eat it basically raw. The Po Boy Shrimp sandwich looked amazing, but little to no flavor. Again at 24.00 nothing to write home about! This place has to do better! The concept is good but execution, not at all! They're not short on staff, lots of super friendly staff! I gotta give it to them for that!!

We recently held our second event at The Anderson in Paso Robles, and once again it was a wonderful experience. This gathering was a 12th-century themed history lesson on the Knights Templar, and the castle setting could not have been more perfect for the occasion. The room we used was beautifully prepared, and the tech equipment worked perfectly for our PowerPoint presentation, which made everything run very smoothly. The charcuterie boards were also a lovely touch--beautifully displayed and more than enough for a light lunch while fitting the theme nicely. The service throughout the event was prompt, friendly, and accommodating, which made the entire experience easy and enjoyable for our group. We truly appreciate the team at The Anderson and look forward to hosting future Knights Templar gatherings there again!

We recently hosted an event at The Anderson, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The venue itself is absolutely stunning - such a unique yet central setting that instantly elevates the entire experience and leaves a lasting impression on guests. What truly made the event seamless, though, was the events team. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went perfectly. They handled details with ease, communicated clearly, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. If you're looking for a venue that combines a memorable atmosphere with a top-notch team behind the scenes, The Anderson is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely host another event here!

Had to see what all the hype was about so I Took my mother here for Mother's Day . Let me start off with the menu . It is very limited most of the menu is fried food so not very healthy . If you're gluten free your choices are limited . If you are vegan you have two choices. We split a shrimp appetizer and yes it was fried it was good though . Then we split the grit appetizer fried again wasn't that great . I had the cauliflower steak vegan dish it was very good . My mother had the special French toast with fried chicken . Not sure about the combination but she seemed to like it . I personally was not impressed with it . We don't d try the bread pudding with matcha sauce I thought it was alright my mother thought it was a little dry and she was not sure why the heated it up so she pretty disappointed in that . The reason why I have low stars was because we had so many gnats and flys around our food I was losing my appetite . We did mention it to the server but it went the wayside . I would recommend if you sit inside do not sit anywhere near the doors to the outside . Two people in our party had two of the non alcoholic drinks one was with mint leaves it tastes like a mojito without the alcohol it was really good . The other one was some kind of orange hangover drink that was good for being non alcoholic.. one thing I thought was pretty cool was how many mixed non alcoholic drinks they had for the ones that still want a fun taste but without the alcohol. They had the same with beers too . They did have a really good mixed drink menu but a lot of the mixed drinks are in very small glasses with a higher price point .The atmosphere is always great and be sure to checkout the alligator under the bridge ( not real of course but sure looks it )

The sober spritz tasted like orange soda--too syrupy sweet and could benefit from a hit of acid like adding mimosa vinegar to it and more soda water.

From the purse hooks underneath (always such an appreciated detail) to the footrest the host offered so I would be comfortable on a bar stool to the mixologist who made the best drinks, our experience was 5 star. We had the smoked butter pecan old fashioned and a grasshopper (aka dessert in a glass) and both were the perfect exclamation point to a lovely evening! My husband appreciated the decor of tufted walls and the monkey sconces are a fun touch. All the details are perfect. Definitely visit if you're in town. Then, of course, one would need to thank the bar for their drinks and presentations, which are awesome. You need a bit of showmanship to perform and serve at a place like this. Ok, here we go. Tucked away on a back street in Paso lies this interesting and very amazing venue. I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams going to a place like this, let alone what was inside. To be honest, I at first felt like I was entering the twilight zone, the first time I came here. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, " Is this what it felt like going to something like this during prohibition times? Now, in this post, I will not share all about your entrance, etc., into this place, as that takes the fun out of it, but I must add that if you are in the Paso area, this is a must on your list. Let's go back and recreate yesteryear, a very intimate and very exclusive, club-like atmosphere. You never know who is watching you; it's all that mystery. Does it feel a bit like the game CLUE"? You tell me. :-) Just remember this: speak easy, abide by their rules, speak quietly, and have fun!

Craft Eatery which is located in downtown Paso across from the park. The ambiance was really nice. Modern and chic. We liked the design. We ordered 3 different things. This is the feedback from my friends after asking how they liked their food. Food: Pacific Rim salad with sriracha chicken. The salad was good but the chicken was dry. Cow tippin sliders - didn't ask how she wanted the meat cooked. Steak came out rare. Which she ate and said was ok but not preferred. She kept referring to the sliders as sliding everywhere between the rare meat and thick tomato slice. I had the Cabo chicken and summer bbq slider. Cabo chicken slider - The chicken was grilled and leaned on the dry side. I liked the chipotle aioli sauce. I didn't like the thick slice of tomato that came on it. Summer BBQ slider - was my favorite. The pull pork was good. My only suggestion is it could have used more bbq sauce on it as it was very little bbq sauce. The sweet potato fries were good and I liked the seasoning on them but a couple of them didn't feel all the way done. Wine - we had a glass of Quest wine and it was amazing. Def recommend this red if you visit. The service could have been better. There were long gaps in between our server checking in on us. But when they stoped by they were nice and split our check which was appreciated. Overall, the food was ok could have been better. The wine was amazing.
