I was passing through Paso Robles late at night and needed to find a place to get some food. Luckily Rustic Fire was open a little later, so I called in ahead of time. Got to the restaurant and they had a bunch of televisions playing sports and even the individual booths had some tv's to watch while eating. Went to the counter and paid for the pizza. After calling in and waiting, it took around 20 minutes to get my food. They offered extra plates, utensils, and peppers/cheese for my pizza which was nice. Now to get to the pizza, I went with the Rustic Bianca which has cheese, chicken, mushrooms, and pine nuts. We ordered a medium which was around $24 ($26 with tax) and its 11 inches. I was excited to try it as it smelled good, but as I opened it up, the thing was SMALL. Its the same size as a Blaze pizza or Pieology pizza and those are cheaper with way more toppings. Okay - maybe it tastes amazing and itll be worth it. I took a bite and it tasted like....nothing at all. There was zero flavor it in. If they had maybe put a few more mushrooms in it maybe it would have tasted like something. But it was just bread and flavorless cheese. I had to use the peppers and extra cheese because it just tasted so weak. That being said, the staff was friendly and the place looks like a cool area to hang out, but I would just never order pizza from here again. read more

I ordered pizza and ice-cream and cookie from them in Spring Break, 2021. People work there are wonderful. Super friendly, very nice. Italian ice-cream are so good. Pizza is very tasty and Greek Salad is amazing. Will go there again when I am in Paso Roble area again. read more

Overpriced pizza. They try to be fancy and sell wine, but their pizza is mediocre. We spent $25 for just a simple cheese pizza, which was fine, but honestly a chain would have been better. The crust and sauce weren't memorable. For a place that seems like the pizza would be artisan, I would have simply expected more. read more

Stopped here on our way from LA to San Jose. We got a family size garden salad and it came already tossed with just the right amount of ranch dressing and lots of fresh ingredients. When you eventually get the food, it's great. 3 of 3 pizzas were very good. One arrived fairly quickly, two took almost half an hour. Both were 9" personal pies. Our 3 beers were great when they eventually made it to us. One took almost 20 minute and 3 asks. Both salads were very good. One was even as ordered. A great little walk up and order brick oven pizza place. They bring the food to you once you've ordered. Their pizzas are delicious and they have a great selection of tasty salads. You can even get some really yummy gelato if you leave room after dinner. The only thing we didn't love was the meatball sandwich thing that we ordered. A MUST GO! To start, the staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and so helpful. I ordered an Italian side salad that was excellent. I especially liked the homemade croutons. My husband had the Chinese mandarin salad and he thought it was a nice surprise. We shared the carnivore pizza and had plenty of leftovers. The crust was tasty and just the perfect thickness. After driving for hours, we made a pit stop here to quickly grab some food. The service was great, the person taking our order was really patient and ran down the menu for us and suggested all the best sellers, and accommodated to everything we needed. Great atmosphere music isn't too loud seating is comfortable and welcoming. We ordered the rustic carnivore, which is basically a meat lovers pizza. The Italian cheese breadsticks are to die for. I had the neopolitan crust pineapple pizza. The pizza was great but just a tad bit burned. Great job on everything though. So we did a take out order from here the other night. We had the Italian salad and the Rustic Neapolitan pizza. The salad was a Bomb. It was very fresh and tasty. The dressing had great flavor too. Best pizza I've ever had. I come from Fresno all the time to eat here. My favorite is the cheese pizza with basil. I add mushroom. We pick one up and go to the beach. It'll last all day and is great for leftovers. read more

We ordered 3 large pizzas for pickup. We are visiting from out of town and this was our first visit. The wait for to-go was an hour but I must say, it was worth the wait. The pizzas are also expensive as the toppings are $2.50 each. However, we ordered exactly what we wanted and at around $40 per pizza, we enjoyed them very much. We ordered one pizza with vegan cheese and pesto sauce VAD the base with sun dried tomatoes and spinach and olive oil drizzle. The second pizza we ordered was with vegan cheese and red sauce with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms w/ olive oil drizzle (thick crust). The third one we ordered was with mozzarella cheese, ranch base and ranch drizzle, with chicken and bacon. We loved our pizzas. I must say, I think the vegan pizza is the best I've ever had. I loved the vegan cheese they used. So, the taste of the pizza took the sting out of the price. We'll definitely be back! read more

We're from out of town but frequent the area quite often. Our hotels have always recommended we try this spot out, but never got around to it due to not being in the mood for pizza. Well, we finally did and do not regret it. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The staff was attentive and extremely kind from the moment we walked in. Food was great and came out hot (with the exception of the salad lol).
