Came here at 8 am on a mild autumn morning. Was pleasantly surprised with a diverse menu with tons of fresh fruit options. I presume they put a lot of effort into getting the most fresh fruit for their menu. Much appreciated here in the mile high city where fresh fruits and vegetables go out of season. I ordered the beach bowl. Simple açaí bowl with granola. A classic. I really am picky about my granola and it can be really hit or miss for me. But this granola was what I wanted. Crisp, sweet, honey flavored, looked like flax seeds were mixed in there too. It was what my body needed. I want to come back and try their smoothies. This place literally is the definition of a hangover cure. No bathroom so don't go in their expecting to relieve yourself. Enjoy their prompt service, polite employees and healthy food. read more

Quick service. What is misleading is that the photos show fresh fruit toppings. Apparently you have to ask for it and pay extra but that isn't clear. I always look forward to the toppings on my acai bowls and was super disappointed to see only granola and honey. When I ordered I asked the guy if they used fresh pitaya on their Dragon bowls and he said no all our fruit is frozen except for the toppings. No mention that there were no automatic fruit toppings or asked if we wanted fresh fruit on ours. ‍ Other than that my beach bowl acai was tasty for being alone... Meh. I have a smoothie bowl problem. Why are the so good?? Rush Bowls were THE THING when I was in college (CU Boulder). I am so happy there is one here in Denver. Everything is customizable (vegans: replace yogurt with plant milk, no honey, etc.), but they also have a set menu for anyone with the paradox of choice. The staff is super friendly to boot. Must be because they are carbed up on delicious fruit! Pro tip: Smoothie bowls taste best after a particularly hard yoga class. Also, Smoothie bowls have been known to cure hangovers. OMG!!!! You don't understand my excitement when I found out there was a Rush in Denver. I used to go to the Rush on the hill in Boulder all the time when I was going to school there. It was just walks away from my place. SO when Rush opened up in Denver, I had to stop by. I know, I can get Rush bowls at Whole Foods but it's just not the same. I usually get the Frida made into a bowl. It usually comes as a smoothie. But it's so good. But the last time I was in, I decided to try something different and I got the If Looks Could Kale. So good. And really, you can't go wrong ordering anything from Rush. I love that they top off all of their bowls with granola and honey. Obsessed! And thank goodness, I don't have to wait to go to Boulder to enjoy Rush anymore. Because I usually only head up to Boulder once or twice a year. So happy that I can feel like I am back in college just by going to Rush. It really brings back great memories! read more

They forgot a couple of things on my bowl but were happy to help when I let them know.. shouldn't need to do that though. This place is amazing. They have açaí bowls topped with granola and honey that are seriously to die for. The granola is perfectly crunchy and pairs with the honey and smoothie perfectly. If you aren't in the mood for a bowl they also have a huge selection of smoothies that you can order or mix and match to make your own. We always add Matte to our bowl/smoothie to give it that extra kick and a truly unique taste. The staff is always smiling and positive which is exactly what you want in a smoothie shop. We go in regularly and Jason always helps us come up with the best combinations based on our mood/needs. The atmosphere is perfect for a smoothie shop. It is location in lohi and overlooks the city. It has a cute patio for sunny days as well as large windows and bar seating if you prefer to sit inside. If you are hungry and don't think that an açaí bowl will fill you up, think again! Coming from LA last year, I love me a good smoothie bowl and have only found a handful of places around Denver who are doing it right. Good things: -- You can make your bowl as healthy (coconut milk! avocado! mate!) as you want, but you can also go crazy with froyo and chocolate. I love that this spot could be a healthy post-workout lunch or an indulgent treat after dinner. --Their staff is super rad! Their GM, Gloria, suggested the Chai's Mystique with a scoop of peanut butter (soooo good!). --They grind their own peanut butter in house. Well let me tell ya, between my one workout this week and my healthy meal at Rush Bowl I am feeling skinnier already! Rush Bowl's mission is to provide easy, quick & healthy meals on the go for "younger" people in a world full of incredibly unhealthy fast-food options and I am toootally here for it. My most recent visit I had the beach bowl to which I added bananas, blueberries & coconut shavings; my bowl was rich, tasty, and very filling! There are a few bowls that stood out to me that I'd like to go back and try for sure and apparently some bowls are available frozen at Whole Foods so that's totally convenient! Things I loved about Rush Bowls -healthy meal on the go: no MSGs, natural/organic ingredients -menu: customizable menu with lots of topping options and most things on the menu are between 250-450 calories which is amazing -price: smoothies & bowls range from $7-$10 so totally reasonable for the portion size and the quality ingredients I am totally a fan of this place and definitely bringing it into the New Year with me so I can finally try to lose some weight hehe. read more

Words cannot describe how happy I am that there is a Rush in Denver! There is nothing quite like Rush Bowls anywhere in the Denver area (or at least, that I know of). Where else am I supposed to get a smoothie bowl topped with delicious homemade granola? Since moving from Boulder to Denver, my Saturday morning breakfast adventures have not been the same. Smoothies were great. I didn't see a "make your own" option but the options they had were good. The girl who attended me was also kind enough to receive me even though I showed up a little late before closing. I felt like a jerk but she helped out and I appreciate her a lot for that especially since she was nice. I'm sure I annoyed her but I'm grateful she decided to help out either way. I don't like showing up right before closing. Either way the smoothies tasted amazing especially with the dash of kindness she put into them. read more

10/10 HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- if you're a first time customer and don't like your $10 smoothie, just know you're going to have to pay another $10 for a new smoothie, according to the cheap assistant manager Was soooo excited to try this adorable smoothie shop. I spoke with the lady who took my order and I let her know I've never been here before so I asked her if the smoothies are sweet. I used to work at Jamba Juice (which is just straight sugar I know haha) I ordered the PB crunch and asked if that was sweet since it had froyo in it and the lady said kinda. I asked how I can make it sweeter and she just kinda looked at me with no help and told me to just add strawberries or something. I meant like sugary syrup or something not another berry. Anyways I added blueberries and kale/spinach to it-since the kale and spinach don't add any flavor just adds the greens. The guy made my smoothie and I tried it and let him know I really didn't like it. It tasted watery and definitely not sweet like AT ALL. So I asked him since I've never been here before if I could get something different and he straight up said "No- we'd have to charge you for a new smoothie" I said "that doesn't make sense if I've never been here before and I didn't like what I ordered- why aren't you making the moment right?" He continued annoyed and said "fine I'll make you another one. We can't just "toss it" and give you a whole new smoothie for free" I wasn't looking for a free smoothie I JUST SPENT $10 on THIS ONE THAT TASTED AWFUL. So I threw the whole smoothie away and here we are on Yelp. I was soooo excited because they're smoothies look amazing and I bet they taste incredible. The one I got just wasn't the one- and I couldn't even get a different one. I worked at Jamba like I said AND Starbucks and if you order something AND DON'T LIKE IT, WE WILL MAKE YOU A NEW ONE NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I'm really disappointed. Brought my girlfriend here and we spend 8 dollars each on a bowl . I got the seasonal pumpkin one and she got an açaí bowl. My main complaint was that they blended everything . My bowl was good it just reminded me of baby food . I think it would better with more solid food in it . I couldn't finish it so I brought it home and put it in the freezer . It didn't hold to well but I still ate it . If I go back I might try a smoothie instead . read more

When I bring my son with me they are really sweet about letting me have another cup to pour some in for my toddler son. The name of this place is quite appropriate - it's built to get people through the line and move them out. There is a complete lack of indoor seating and the music is obnoxious and it's anything but relaxing. The thing that struck me immediately was that this felt like a franchise - just the layout, the fact they are trying to sell you everything under the sun, and the vibe. I actually didn't look it up until after we left to realize I was spot on. But those are the minor things... franchises exist for a couple reasons: 1) they have a great product; 2) they try to leverage a trend or fad and market the hell out of it. Well... it didn't take long for me to know it was definitely #2. In fact, we popped in here after we went to Prosperoats (literally we went from one place to the other) to compare and it was night-and-day from the product to the vibe. This acai bowl was really blah and, I hate this admit this, but we didn't finish the entire thing. It was tasteless and felt like a thick smoothie rather than a bowl. Perhaps, I like to have my fruit in my bowl and not blended in the base. To me, there is a clear winner here from the actual acai bowl to the vibe (and probably to supporting local business). read more

They make their peanut butter naturally on site which is pretty rare to find at smoothie bowl shops. The team is great with helping you pick a bowl that's right for you. Happy hour is Mon-Thurs 5-6pm $2 off your bowl & bowls are $9.95, so it's almost half the price of most smoothie bowl shops. It's well decorated and in a great location! Stay away during COVID. We placed an order online, and get there to pick it up and was told their online ordering doesn't work. Ok, so don't put that as an option on your website! One worker was not wearing a mask, none of the 3 workers were wearing gloves. One of the workers had a mask only covering her mouth and was picking her nose and playing with her nose ring while making drinks. Gross, not sanitary and not following COVID health guidelines. The amount of people crammed in the small space was ridiculous. Think hard about who you want to support during these times, this is one I will no longer support until they can figure their shit out on how to keep themselves and others healrh UPDATE: they got new management and it is a complete turn around. Jason, the new manager, has all employees wearing masks and gloves, they have installed markers on the floor and have plexi glass on the counters. Also, they now have an updated menu which includes oat milk!! Jason, reached out and made it right and after today's experience they have gained our business back. read more

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I'm not finding many smooth bowl locations around my North Denver hood and Rush just took my mouth on a magical ride. The bowls are well made and the flavor is outstanding! Also, can someone please tell me what granola they use?! It's the fluffiest granola I've ever ingested! I popped in by accident just driving around the neighborhood it brought my attention with all the fruits on the door. I figured I'm always in the mood for a smoothie so I decided to check it out. The place had a super cool layout, intimate and the menu is HUGE you can mix so many things together from very healthy, vegan, and you can even indulge in the more sweeter dessert kinds. Let's just say I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I finally went the Summit bowl Acai, strawberry, cherry, vanilla soy milk. Topped with organic granola & honey it was soooo good and quite filling. I thought $7.95 was a reasonable price for a smoothie bowl. I will definitely be back to try out some smoothies! read more

The only reason I am giving this place 3-stars is because I think the price is a little high, but if you go during "happy hour", 4-7 I believe, you can get $5 bowls. My boyfriend and I came here today after class for some healthy fuel and paid almost $20 for 2 signature bowls with coconut milk. They were tasty don't get me wrong, I got the power bowl with coconut milk and he got the yoga bowl with coconut milk, neither of us got add-ons. The granola and honey that automatically comes on top adds a great crunch of flavor and the bowls are a decent portion. The view of the city is great so make sure you sit outside! Healthy alternative to Little Man's ice cream down the block if you're looking for one! Friendly service by the two ladies in the front recommending the most popular items. The options are endless with so many smoothies and yogurt/acai bowls to choose from and if you don't Iike any of the combos, you have the option to build your own. We ordered the Jimmy Buffet smoothies because it had all the ordinary fruits blended together with yogurt. A thick consistency for a smoothie but mighty delicious! I didn't know what this place was but had seen their flyers and walked past a couple of times so it may be my fault to assume that the bowls (even the most basic ones) were an assortment of fruit and healthy ingredients. That's not accurate. Even though there's a clear separation on the menu between bowls and smoothies, all you really end up with when you order a bowl is a smoothie in a bowl. Topped with granola and honey. Did it taste good? Sure, but it was overpriced for what it is. And it's not a bowl! When a bowl description reads "raspberry, blueberry, pays, bananas" the general assumption is that they are pieces of those, not a smoothie Anyway, it also has way too much sugar in it to be healthy/nutritious.
