I went looking for a smoothie or bowl in downtown Denver and chose this place because other reviews indicated it was healthy. I was pleased with the menu selections and quick service, but the pricing took me a bit by surprise. I think the regular and large bowls are fairly priced, but when I added two extra ingredients, they were 1.5 each. I realized this when the total for the smaller sized bowl came out to over 14 dollars. My additions consisted of 12 blueberries and a teaspoon of coconut for $3. Will not be making that mistake again! What I had was quite good, but by no means the best açaí bowl I've ever had. The consistency of the vase was a bit melted even though I ordered in store and ate it there. Staff is super friendly, though. So ahead of time I'm giving you this tip: not a pro tip but someone who doggedly searches for a reasonable parking instead of the $5/hr. Park at this garage near the landmark church. Bring your tix with you when you exit the car. You won't be able to get back in without it. Here it is $5 all day. There are metered Parking in front if you're lucky. I bought a Groupon deal and tried this place. A big spot for such a small operation. I think they even have an outside area for those warmer days. An array of choices welcomes you. There's their hot section and then the cold one that I went for. The 14er. It's blueberries, coconut flakes, chia seeds, granola, and a drizzle of honey. Perfect for me! I love granolas and I love blueberries and coconuts. All these guys together in a bowl. The amount is perfect. You can substitute whatever you don't want for something else. The motto, "Natural, Organic, Delicious" sums up my first and only experience at this location, but certainly not my last. Start by picking either acai and pitaya as your superfruit base, followed by a blend (banana and soy milk or else blueberry and apple juice), topped off with your choice of granola (original, chocolate or vanilla). I opted for a tropical bowl with banana and soy milk and vanilla granola. Absolutely delicious. Mix everything together and you'll experience a cool happiness in your mouth. Since the smoothies sounded so delicious in addition to the bowls, I went with the Kale Kissed, which made for the perfect detox drink. I actually felt healthy after downing the 16 oz. small portion. The staff behind the counter was super friendly and efficient.
