I was looking for a place to get myself a treat. And low and behold I came across this spot. I was like, a treat? and healthy? Ok, lets do it. The place is located in the heart of downtown Denver, near the sports district. There is metered street parking on the street out front and commercial lots within a reasonable walking distance. You can place your order ahead, but I came in cold. They have a small dining area, with a few tables, and a small area along the wall with bar seating. They sell merchandise like T-shirts, coozies, cups and sunglasses there. The staff there was very friendly. The guy working there explained how it worked and offered some recommendations. They serve drinks, bites, bowls and smoothies. After a long deliberation I decided to get the paradise bowl. The way I saw it, it looks like a bowl is just a smoothie in a bowl with some toppings. It took about 6 minutes for them to make my bowl. I wanted to head back to my room, because it was getting late, which I was surprised that a bowl/smoothie shop was open at night. Anyway, the bowl was decent, my only complaint was that it was heavy on the smoothie bottom and light on the toppings. I wish the ratio was a bit better. The base was smooth and flavorful, and there was a lot of it. The bowl traveled well, as they gave me a lid and offered a bag, but being 20 degrees outside, I sure did nit hurt the bowl's travel. I am trying to incorporate better food choices into my diet and this was a very viable option in helping me pursue that goal. The bowl was decent, the shop was colorful with a cool vibe. and friendly staff.

New to Blake Street, Rush Bowls is now the top place to get a smoothie or smoothie bowl in downtown Denver. Everyone working is extremely friendly and greats you as you walk in. Each menu item is then hand made which makes them completely customizable. I've really enjoyed everything I've ordered so far, I just think it's a little overpriced. $38 for two smoothie bowls has me wishing I just went to an actual restaurant to eat

Excellent across the board: service, value, and taste! Thanks for the perfect açaí bowl, the friendly service, and chill vibe. We had a great experience.

I was in town visiting with a friend and was looking for a great place to get a smoothie. Rush Bowls did not disappoint. Three days in a row we walked from our hotel, about a mile away and were served by the great staff. I'm a little selective regarding what I get in my smoothies and they allow you to customize. Not only do they have plenty of variety to choose from, but had great quality ingredients. This place will definitely be on my list of badass smoothie places to go to when I'm visiting Denver next time!

The ambiance was indeed attractively designed, bright and open, not too loud even though we sat ourselves near the kitchen. We ordered from menus with our smart phones, and our drinks and food arrived promptly. I ordered the Shakshuka, a northern African dish of stewed tomatoes with feta cheese and spices served with warm crusty garlic bread. A perfectly poached egg was nestled on top, and the dish was accompanied by a side salad of baby lettuces dressed very sparingly in oil and vinegar. Now, ordinarily, for me more is more when it comes to condiments. But the way the salad was dressed allowed the flavors of the lettuces to come through, and its blend of tart and slightly bitter was the perfect foil to the shakshuka, which was hearty, delicious, and spicy indeed! The stew was a generous portion that could be easily shared if you ordered an extra side of garlic bread, which I did. I was lucky to be able to request it from an employee who came around to ask how our meal was. The overall experience was memorable in the best way. I'm already craving the Shakshuka!

And I don't like…read morepickled beets, usually, (I love beets and I love pickles, but not together) but this must've been pickled by them in their own recipe and it was so good. Not the icky too sweet, too sour that I taste in others. The hummus also tasted very freshly made and was good, but they did not put anywhere near enough on the board. The ratio was so bad, it was like 1/4 cup of hummus and 8 triangles of pita, not to mention if you were to dip anything other than the pita in the hummus. It really needed like 3 to 4 times the amount of hummus I got. Then, they're weren't any vegetables to dip other than pickled beets. Something like carrots, celery, radish, cucumber, tomato... anything! The olives are a nice side bite, I love olives, but you need more veggies. The price for that was way overpriced and that was their "happy hour" deal, too. Ok, come on now! They also have some cocktails and wine for $5 - 6 for HH so, that is a good deal -- daily 3-5pm. The patio outside is pretty large. But, ps you not supposed to leave with your drink whether inside or outside. Terminal bar you can wander more on the inside.

As a bacon lover, this sandwich felt like home. I was really pleased they opt for a savory tofu as the protein option on this sandwich, as I prefer tofu to tempeh for all reasons. Each food item on their vegetarian and plant-forward menu comes with a side salad dressed in this incredible, light vinaigrette. I dream of that dressing. Top it off with delicious beverage options, and a welcoming and sunlight-drenched interior, ugh! Love this spot. I'll be back soon!

I had the Thai peanut salad, which was incredibly bland. The sauce/dressing was scanty and barely tasted like anything -- I didn't taste peanuts really and definitely no hint of curry/spice like I expected. There was a section of sliced jalapeno but I didn't want to eat raw jalapeno with my salad, I wanted a zestier dressing. The "crispy" tofu was tofu that was completely fried so it had a texture like a crunchy zwiebach cracker/rusk -- I had been envisioning something with some softness and a chewy exterior. My beverage was a lavender Palmer that was a pint jar of lemonade with some lavender tea on top. For those two items it was $27. I have some oral allergy issues and after eating, I had a "burned" mouth feeling like I get from tahini, walnut or eggplant. I don't think any of these ingredients would have been in the salad, but I do not have an issue with peanuts (eat them all the time). I called to ask if the dressing had tahini in it and was told no, but it still concerned me.
