I got the green machine smoothie, my husband got the works juice, and we split the vegan meatball sub sandwich to try that. We loved it all. This place is located inside a building with other businesses, but there are a few couch and table areas to sit in addition to the high tables from the juice place. The guy working was friendly enough. It's definitely more causal, for when one wants that vibe. I would definitely return because I want to try the other vegan sandwiches. read more

Yummy healthy goodness! I was craving a healthy but filling mid-morning snack and this fit the bill. I ordered the '#4 Juice Blend': carrots, apple, beets, spinach, and ginger with a 'wellness boost' thrown in for good measure. My only regret is that I did not get the 32 oz cup because everything about this juice was amazing! The flavors blended together perfectly and with every sip I could almost feel every cell in my body rejoicing. I love how they also sell healthy snacks (e.g. Nature's Bakery fig bars, which I'm slowly becoming obsessed with!) in addition to these delicious and nutritious juices. It's very hard to eat (and drink) right while on the road, and I'm so grateful for this place. PRO-TIP: Don't make the same mistake I did: get the full size. Just do it. How did I not try this place years ago??? I work right across the street and had a spa day appt with my sis so we wanted smoothies instead of eating a big breakfast - holy moly sooo glad I was in a hurry and decided to grab the smoothies on the way to pick her up to save time. I got the Island Paradise - mango, coconut, peached, banana, kale, spinach and my sis wanted the Colombian blackberry smoothie -which is blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, Colombian blackberries and strawberry juice. The combos in both were DELICIOUS and they were blended to perfection -so smooooth and velvety. Needless to say I now go quite often. I have also tried the Cool cucumber -cucumber, spinach, strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon juice. This one is awesome too and has less sugar, but still all of the flavor. As another reviewer mentioned they have vitamin boosts as well, which I add to every smoothie to feel even better about what I am putting in my body. I call ahead and by the time I get there my happiness in a cup is waiting for me. I think the pricing is fair and the sizes are big. The first time we ordered, I got us mediums and my sister was like, "Wow, I wonder how big a large is?!?". They do have a punch card program, that you can leave there for convenience so you don't have to carry another paper card in your wallet. They also use a more eco friendly packaging, which I appreciate it. I am excited to try their juices, but it is so hard for me to branch out because the smoothies I have gotten are addictive! Cute hidden gem! The açaí smoothie was delicious and so was the funky monkey. It was very peanut buttery and choclatey while the açaí tasted tropical and fruity. Great prices for the size you get. Two words - Simply Delicious. This place doesn't look like much, let's be honest, it is just a cart stand in the middle of a business lobby, but it is so much more. Came for a protein shake as it was close to my hotel and I wanted a light breakfast daily on my business trip. The shakes were ok. Maybe it was the protein powder. When you're sick in a foreign town, Yelp can really be a godsend. See, I don't battle sickness with symptom-dulling meds, I try to get well by boosting my immune and response systems via being as healthy as I can. In PDX, that's easy. In other cities, not so much. So while in Denver this last week with a raging sore throat and sinus condition, I was out of my comfort zone in more ways than one, and searching hard for something that would help make me whole again. Yelp led me to Juice Kitchen, as one of only a couple of non-Jamba-Juice options for smoothies in downtown. Nothing against Jamba Juice (if you want 46 grams of sugar, dairy, and all sorts of other unhealthy shit in your calorie-packed smoothie), but I prefer pure-juice options. And Juice kitchen has them. Sort of. Most of the smoothies here actually are based on fro-yo or yogurt, which won't help a guy who's hoping to be healthy. Even when I'm not sick, I don't want a bunch of dairy in my fruit juice. But they do offer fresh veggie juice made-to-order, so if you're in the mood for empowering juice enzymes minus all the bullshit, you can get it. My 16oz build-your-own juice of carrot, ginger, lemon, spinach, kale and beet was tasty, even though it was mostly carrot. They do have a bunch of add-on boosters, but on this visit for me it was all about the fresh juice... ...served in styrofoam? Is that normal here in Denver? My local associates assure me it's not. Who uses styrofoam in the new millennium? Ugh. Dump that shit. Minus one star right there. Other than the lack of pure-fruit-only smoothie options and the styrofoam, this spot is not that bad for veggie juice fans. Minus the styrofoam it would be a 4-star "yay, I'm a fan!" joint for me. Also the location makes it hard to find - inside an office building. But with the help of the Yelp app, you can find it. And get juiced. read more

The one star is for the quality of the product. Unfortunately, the service and experience with the staff was horrific. The gentleman working from the start had an attitude with us. When I asked if I could do everything from the #5 custom juice except beets and orange, he replied with "I don't know what is listed up there on the menu so just list off what you want." Ok - well shouldn't you know your own menu and you could have just turned around? I went with it. My juice came with beets - which I am allergic too - when paying for the juice, I even said to the girl at the register that I didn't want beets. She said "oh yes, there are no beets in your juice." Out it came bright red.... "Does this juice have beets?" I asked the man working. "Yea, it does," he replied. "Oh sorry, I asked for not beets or orange." He scoffed at me and threw my juice in the trash. He then preceeded to slam items and cabinet doors around to make his point clear that he was pissed. After all that, he left out lemon and ginger in the juice. I would guess on purpose. Maybe you should memorize your menu so this doesn't happen next time? Maybe you should learn that in the service industry the customer is always right. We heard them laughing at us when we walked away. That was the icing on the cake. The girl asked me "And which booster would like today" which lead me to believe that it was included, but when I looked at the list I saw that each was $.75 and the reality is I dont much believe in 'boosters' at smoothie shops, but would rather just ingest nutritious raw foods. After I ordered, a guy who I presume was the owner then began schooling her on how to sell larger sizes after I had told her that 16 oz (the small) was plenty. I just ordered this for lunch via uber eats delivery. I ordered a buffalo wrap and a "Super C" juice. The meat in the wrap is still warm, and juice so fresh I can smell each ingredient! I was in the area and really needed a pick me up drink with out the 1/2 lb of sugar, caffene or dairy cream that you'd usually find in a Starbucks or Jamba Juice. I'm somewhat of a health nut and found out about the Juice Kitchen a few months ago. Their juices are extremely nutritious and taste better than what you'd think for how much veggies they throw in there. In response to Don B's review, I asked the owner about the styrofoam cups. He told me that if he ordered custom cups, he'd have to buy them in quantities of 50,000 and simply doesn't have the storage to keep that much inventory. I give the Juice Kitchen 5 stars. I'm a regular there and highly recommend it to someone who is looking for something quick, inexpensive, and healthy. It is probably the healthiest place on 16th Street Mall. read more
