Playa bowls has the best bowls!! I love this location because there is a cute courtyard to sit in when it's nice outside. The inside is nice and spacious, as well. Street parking isn't too bad (even for a Saturday morning). I love the mango based bowls the most! I also like the smoothies and the juices. I haven't had a bad thing on the menu. The service is always quick and the employees are super friendly. Highly recommend!

Wish we had some of these in Omaha! I love a açaí bowl, but after trying a coconut bowl I might have a new favorite. I got the Nutelloco coconut bowl and it was delicious. It had Nutella of course, granola, strawberries, bananas, and some chocolate and coconut to top it off. It's a little on the pricier side BUT it did last me two days so it's more reasonable when you take that into account. The staff was so sweet, my friend had her dog with us and they offered him a pup cup! Great little neighborhood and ambiance, we sat on the patio and it was beautiful out, they even had their doors open to let the air inside.

Fun colorfully beachy vibe and healthy food options! The nutella bowl and green smoothie were both quite refreshing on a hot day! Good quality ingredients that are tasty and good for you too.

Cute spot! Perfect for grabbing a post workout smoothie, bowl or juice. Spacious inside, lots of seating, would be a good post sloans lake walk hangout area, especially with a larger group. I've had the classic acai bowl from here which is good, this time we tried the more banana/peanut butter/chocolate flavors which were also nice (costa bowl and booster smoothie). The reason I gave 4 stars instead of price is purely for cost, so come knowing it won't be cheap. I think between the bowl and small size smoothie came out around $30.

Tucked away in edgewater it was a really pleasant surprise! Massive menu and everything Is really fresh! Will be back!

It was my first time to the store, and I will definitely be back! They have a very large menu and different ways to build your own bowls with plenty of fresh toppings. I got one with a coconut base, bananas, strawberries, and Nutella. It was delicious and freezes very nicely. The inside was really clean and trendy. Plus it's in a nice location right next to a beer garden.

Wow this location seems right out of a movie it's so cute. The staff was very friendly. The bowl was absolutely delish. I love a good smoothie bowl. I will be back again soon to try more things!

So excited to have a Playa Bowls in Edgewater! The Opening Day event was awesome, equipped with free smoothie bowls, trendy shirts, stickers, and great tunes! The staff was oozing with friendliness and calmness despite the long line wrapped around the block. After a week of winter weather, Playa Bowls is exactly what I needed for a taste of summer and beach vibes. The interior instantly transported me to the Jersey shore (surfboard tables, beach-y color scheme, etc.), in the best way. Lots of options for different bases (or even the option to combine bases!) and for different toppings depending on what you're in the mood for. I got the Nutella Bowl (açaí base topped with strawberry, banana, granola, coconut, and Nutella), and added almond butter. The portion size was great! Welcome to the neighborhood, Playa Bowls Edgewater!

Natuur Sloan's Lake is only a 4-minute walk from the lake, so we did the 3-mile loop around Sloan's Lake before eating. We arrived at Natuur and were greeted by founder Zach and staff. Everyone was so friendly and had a wealth of information on the menu and the high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients used. We sat in the main dining area - the aesthetic of the space was airy & fun. For Smoothies, we had the Strawberry Wave, LemonBerry, & Green Hydrator. The Strawberry Wave was made with strawberries, pineapple, orange, coconut milk, and honey, and garnished with coconut flakes. I'm obsessed with this smoothie - it was so good. The combination of sweet strawberries and pineapple with the tangy orange was refreshing and nutritious. The coconut milk added a creamy texture and subtle sweetness, while the honey balanced the flavor. The coconut flakes provided a delightful crunch and enhanced the tropical feel. The LemonBerry was made with organic vanilla plant protein, blueberry, lemon, coconut milk, banana, & pineapple. The Green Hydrator was made with spinach, celery, ginger, pineapple, and coconut water, garnished with CocoCloud and topped with Chia Seeds. This smoothie was the perfect way to get our greens and get fully hydrated. For Bowls, we had the OG Acai Bowl and the Super Green Bowl. The OG Acai Bowl was made with a pure açái base, blueberry, raspberry, banana, coconut milk, and granola. The açai, blueberries, and raspberries created a vibrant berry flavor profile. The granola added a satisfying crunch & texture. For Toasts, we had the Avocado Toast and the Almond Butter Toast. The Avocado Toast was made with Hearth Bakery sourdough, avocado, everything seasoning, micro greens, chili flakes, olive oil, and we added an egg. The creamy avocado, zesty everything bagel seasoning, and subtle heat from chili flakes created a flavorful base. The sourdough provided a hearty texture, while microgreens added freshness. The addition of the egg provided a protein-packed element. The Almond Butter Toast was made with Hearth Bakery sourdough, topped with all-natural almond butter, blueberries, and fresh sliced banana. Drizzled with honey and topped with hemp seeds. The Chia Pudding Parfait was made with house-made coconut milk chia pudding topped with GF granola, fresh strawberries, blueberries, & a drizzle of honey. The fresh strawberries and blueberries provided a burst of juicy fruit flavor against the creamy, milk chia pudding. The honey added a touch of sweetness and sticky texture.

I do miss the days when Everbowl used to have unlimited toppings, that was the best part of coming here but I can understand why those days are long gone. I've always really liked their Pitaya. I tried a split with the Blue Majic base and I didn't love the consistency / flavor as much. I wanted the base to be just a tad bit thicker. Toppings were pretty fresh and I appreciate that they chop them up so you don't have giant fruit chunks falling overboard. Overall, I was satisfied with this bowl. It did what it needed to do. The pricing is notably better here than competitors in the area. It seems as though every other spot is running you close to $20 a bowl now which is crazy. This was about $13. The lady working was sweet. I feel as though customer service is kind of a lost art in the current world but she was at least quick to correct my bowl when I was missing an added topping and was fairly personable. And that goes the same for my smoothie, which had the Pitaya base . It took a little longer than expected for anyone to greet us--likely because the staff seemed short-handed and were juggling a steady line of customers. We tried the ginger snap bites from the display case on the counter. I'm not sure we knew what we were getting because the labeling wasn't very clear. The texture was unexpectedly mushy and not very ginger flavored so we wondered if we were given the snickerdoodle balls instead as the labels were on top of each other. The Med Salad had good flavors overall but the croutons were so hard they were almost inedible and there was an overwhelming amount of anise in it which caught me off guard. The bone broth was the biggest disappointment; it lacked depth and tasted more like an old bouillon cube than a fresh and rich broth. On a positive note, my friend's chopped peanut salad looked fresh and well-composed, so there are definitely bright spots on the menu. In the end, it wasn't a terrible experience--just not one that stood out in the way we hoped. With some tweaks in execution and clearer communication on menu items, it could easily be much better. Will plan to try a smoothy or avocado toast next time.

It really needed like 3 to 4 times the amount of hummus I got. Then, they're weren't any vegetables to dip other than pickled beets.
