Got the avocado toast and original açai bowl today! Açai bowl was very tasty, I like that it's not overly sweet, we got it with kiwi, blueberry, and strawberries. I like the different types of drizzle they have, we got the cocoa cloud and the almond butter. The avocado toast was good, I liked the saltines and flavor of the chili oil, however, I think nine dollars is a little hefty for the size of the toast itself. I'll preface this review by saying I'm from San Diego, where you can get an absolutely fabulous smoothie bowl in just about every neighborhood. After seeing the branding, I really wanted to love this place. I've been in twice now. The inside of Natuur is confusing. On our first trip it was at least 90 degrees inside. On our trip today it smelled very sour. Luckily you are able to wait outside and receive your order through a little window. I feel good about their smoothies. The bowls are an absolute miss. They must pre-mix the bases and then freeze them instead of blending when you order because they are super icy rather than smooth and have very little flavor. Cherry protein base is waaaay too protein powder forward. Green base tastes like spinach water. Açaí was just okay. Fruit toppings seemed fresh enough but I couldn't get past the base. I feel pretty disappointed to spend $20 on a flavorless bowl. This was by far the most expensive bowl I've had in Denver. They do get one extra star for having absolutely amazing customer service. The girl working behind the counter has been so lovely both times we visited. The food quality has nothing to do with her. We love her! read more

We needed a break from the super crowds of the farmers market. I mean this was the craziest farmers market that I've ever been to. It's almost impossible to see everything because of the crowds. So when I saw the acai bowls at the booth and then immediately saw the storefront, I chose to step away from the people sardined in front and behind me and check out the shop. There's acai bowls, smoothies, even curry soup at this health forward cafe. We chose to go with the original: OG Acai Bowl with cocoa nibs and almond butter. It already comes with the fruit on top and toppings vary with each bowl. But you can customize anything. Enough to say I was happy to get a break from the hot sun. There is no seating inside, but instead a cute L shaped bench with umbrellas right outside. We were instantly refreshed with the cold treat. But this was not my favorite acai bowl. Texture wise it was great and what you expect. Taste wise, it was bland, almost like eating plain ice. Only the fruit was sweet and added any taste. The almond butter is not sweetened which is normally not a problem. But the base did nothing for me. I love the options, the menu, the whole look of the place, but for almost $14 you'd want something more satisfying. Maybe another type of acai bowl or smoothie might do the trick. read more

This little smoothie shop turns out some insanely flavorful smoothies that are a perfect addition to whatever errands you're running in this area. And they don't skim on the toppings. I was pleasantly full without feeling lethargic. I am obsessed with everything smoothie bowl right now and this is one of my new faves. They also have various toasts (going to have to come back for the avocado toast), and healthy bowls. Meh: this place is small. Zero seating inside and you're lucky if you snag a bench outside. I love a good açaí/smoothie bowl place and was so impressed when first trying natuur. The person taking my order and the other person working were both super friendly! I tried the OG açaí and the super green bowl! You get to choose your own toppings, the peanut butter drizzle on top was amazing! The location is pretty small with no seats inside, only some outside benches. Keep that in mind when deciding to go here if the weather is bad! I let the cashier have the reigns and they made me a power greens bowls which was delightful, refreshing and not too sweet. A lot of times these bowls are way overly sweet Natuur hits all the notes. I've been here twice in a week. Friendly service, delicious and there are many options to create fruity concoctions. I also appreciate that they put granola on the bottom of the bowls - and lots of it. You don't eat through toppings and then the bowl base, like so many other açaí experiences I've had.
