We ordered two southwest chicken salads. They messed up by giving us a mediocre amount of chicken. It was a side of chicken with greens. Despite it being a southwest chicken salad /"- they agreed to make it again which is honestly bare minimum in correcting it. No sorry about it and no reimbursement or courtesy anything after driving home with our meals only to drive back x2 so double the effort and gas. Service is everything. Went through the drive through at the LaVista location today on McDermott PLZ.. I probably go there 3-4 times a month since it's close to my work, and NORMALLY pretty good food and service... I ordered a single cheeseburger combo, brought it back to the office and to my surprise, I received a VERY GREASY double cheeseburger and the patties were extremely undercooked. Grossed me out! The wrapper was so greasy you could see through it! I can understand someone making a mistake and giving a customer the wrong sandwich, but I don't see how ANY CUSTOMER could be served the sandwich I was given today! read more

I gotta say, if there's a fast food place that I would frequent if it were nearby, it's Runza. There's just a certain quality about it that makes it feel not nearly as greasy or gross as most fast food places. For the unaware, a Runza is basically a hamburger in a pocket. I guess you could equate it to a Hot Pocket but it's so much better than that. Definitely a favorite growing up. I decided to try Runza for the first time. It was clean when I walked in. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo meal with onion rings. The onion rings were decent and crispy. The patty in the cheeseburger was better than most fast food. However, the cheese, or rather, the imitation cheese product they put on it is disgusting. Like many fast food places, they skimp on quality cheese and it ends up ruining the burger. The rings and burger were salty as all fast food is, and I suddenly became thirsty. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! I am originally from Omaha, Ne and use to love Runza. When we went to Omaha, I just had to go to Runza and was anxious to have my husband try it. We went to the 175th and Center location. I was beyond disappointed as the Original Runzas were soggy and greasy. Ordered onion rings too without realizing they had an "up charge" for them. The lady taking my order asked if I would like fries or onion rings without mentioning it would cost more. The onion were sad too. The order consisted of 4 rings and they were greasy and NOT HOMEMADE as they advertised. I very NICELY spoke to the manager about our disappointment and he instantly had a MAJOR attitude with me. He basically said that all Runzas are greasy and that is how they are made. I ended up getting frustrated and as I tried to get my receipt back from him, he crumbled it up and threw it in the trash. Very upsetting! My Mom said I should have went to the Runza in Millard as she has never been disappointed there. MAYBE next time. read more

If I eat at Runza it is because of the amazing RANCH SAUCE they serve and the hot fresh fries that are super chunky and not skinny like most places. If you want a good experience I would order a chicken wrap, burger, or chicken strips. Common menu items that always taste delicious. read more

One of the fast food resturaunts that I really miss since moving out here to Las Vegas is Runza. Their crinkle fries are just amazing in their own way! My favorite thing to order was always the cheese runza. The swiss mushroom burger was pretty bomb too, on the value menu. Can't go wrong with the corn doggies either :) read more

Disagree with the last guy. I had the runza Swiss sandwich and it's good. But it's not like mind blowing or anything. Btw first timer trying Runza. Last two weeks been having lot of in n outs and got back to Omaha and wanted to try something close. And this, while can't compete with in n out, is good. In n out is in n out. No denying that. Also, dunno what's the deal with cinnamon rolls, but too much sugar-coated like chunks falling. You should try a whataburger cinnamon roll to know what a good cinnamon roll is like. read more

The first Runza I ever had was on Beatrice Ne when my family would go visit family. Back then the trip was long and it was always nice to stop to eat lunch. Now there are plenty of Runzas around and this one is not to far from where I live. Went there on a week night around 7 pm and ordered two Runzas and a kids meal. After ordering the cashier was told they were "out of Runzas" say what???? Apparently I got the last two they had made up and they had to make more. My lucky day,, I would of been none too happy if I had to wait 15 minutes for them to make more. You think they would have enough "prepared" to last through the night, especially since it is not even "temperature Tuesdays" where you can get a Runza for cheap. A friend of mine told me that she was told once they only had "Half a Runza left" how the heck does that happen ?? I had the Mushroom Swiss and it was hot and good. Hubby had the cheese runza and he seemed to like it. I ordered onion rings instead of fries and the French onion dip. I didn't care for the dip so much as we all know its pretty much just "dip" out of a container. Onion Rings were good. Staff was a little annoying .can barley get through the door without one of them jumping on you to ask what you want. I have been eating at Runza for eats and been to multiple locations but today was a disappointment! Went through the drive thru. We order 3 chicken strip meals with Dr Pepper to drink with one side of onion rings. Pretty simple order. Person taking the order should figure what what was going on. This should have been my first red flag. Get to the window. The chicken strips were rang up alone. The fries on a different ticket and then drinks on there own as well.
