You just can't go wrong with a burger from Don & Millie's. Their burgers are hand patted and fried to perfection! The serve it on a bun with ketchup onion and pickle! That's all you need. I always get onion rings too and ask them to fry them crispy - they will fry about a minute longer and they have a nice crunch to every bite - don't forget the salt! My husband gets the fries, they are the skinny ones and cook up nice inside! Don & Millie's reminds me of an old fashioned soda counter! Order at the counter and pick up when they call your name. If you stop by for a late lunch 2-4 pm you get a free cookie! They are delicious! read more

I went through the drive thru and ordered a number 2 and ordered a large onion ring and shake .I asked for a ranch dip for the onion ring at the menu board , she said ok. When I got to the second window I asked if she put a ranch dip in there she said yes. I got home of course no ranch dip and no fries. My parents and I wanted to go out on the 4th of July last month and we ventured out to Don & Millie's since we were craving onion rings and haven't been to D&M's in a while. It didn't disappoint. I wasn't sure what to eat for lunch one day and was resorting to fast food. A new coworker, who's local, suggested Don & Millie's Cheese Frenchee. I drove through their drive through and the place seems very simple. When I got my order and opened the box it looked like a small portion. Boy, was I wrong! The cheese frenchee is absolutely delicious. It is crispy, and melty and everything i wanted and more. For starters I am very disappointed that they do not have specials of the cheese frenchies anymore, now they are almost 6 friggin dollars.. I tried the baked potato soup and it is HORRIBLE! It tasted bad like rotten bacon bad. I just had a couple bites of my husband's food and was done. He had a double cheeseburger- their burgers are very good though, no matter which you go with.. 3.5 Staff was very polite and food came out quickly as always. I'm a sucker for their Cheese Frenchee so I ordered that and a loaded baked potato (both came out as expected). My biggest complaint is that not all of the employees were wearing masks. Our food was delicious! One of the best grilled chicken sandwich I have ever had! My husband and daughter loved the cheeseburger!

I've never had a meat inside, so I can't speak to the ambiance. Their food, however, is outstanding. I ordered a double cheeseburger once, and I'm not kidding, it took me two days to finish it. It was so delicious. I ordered it with tomatoes and onions and the usual condiments, and I couldn't get in my mouth. Speaking of onions, the breaded, deep-fried onions are outstandingly delicious. And you get a good-sized order,too...not four or five silver dollar-sized rings. It's not fancy, It just serves good, filling food. It is a bit more expensive than McDonalds or Burger King, but you get what you pay for. The service is quick but the food isn"t cooked conveyer belt style. We've been here probably a dozen times now so I think it's safe to say that it's in our regular rotation! The service and food are always good and the $1 margaritas a major plus. (Speaking of the margaritas - they actually contain a decent amount of alcohol. I was quite happy after having 2 one evening.) The kid's meals are a good value, the taco salads are quite good (and huge), the fries are always thin and crispy, and the frenchees, well, it's deep fried grilled cheese... Amazing. The only thing we've never reordered were the burgers. The burgers aren't bad, they're just better elsewhere. read more

Usually pretty good, but this time was different. My burger was good, no complaints. However, my fries were very stale as if they were reused from the previous day. On top of that, I ordered a Dr. Pepper, but it was flat and flavorless. When I let them know, they brought me a new one but it was the same. Seems to be your standard burger joint. Decided to see how good their burgers were. Service was decent and they delivered my meal in a reasonable time. Unfortunately, overall the burger and fries were really nothing to speak about. A number of other restaurants in the surrounding area have better burgers. We webt thru Don and Millie's drive-through today as their dining room is still closed from the covid19 fallout. The person taking our order was fun to talk to and did a great job taking our order. The spicy Asian crispy chicken salad on of our kids ate was not large enough for him lol but he enjoyed it very much. I think the portion size is plenty but for a teenager who could eat an elephant for each meal it was bit quite enough... I had the footling chili dog and was very excited for it. I did not think it was anything special. Seemed like very cheap hot dogs with canned chili and grated cheese over the top. I have had much better at other fast food places. Don and Millie's other menu options are very delicious and I expected the same here. Lesson learned. Our other son had the chicken taco salad. He was very pleased and the portion was much larger then the Asian cousin. The grilled chicken was plenty in portion and size. As we approached the door we discovered that the indoor seating was closed so we logically walked through the drive-thru and had to wait for the car in front of us about 5 minutes as the workers were unresponsive. Just as that car was pulling out a rather large woman open the door to loudly explain, "I'm not gonna serve you walking through the drive-thru." To which my fellow hungry friend inquires, "Why?" With no direct answer, we start to walk away when we are sent off with, "Get a car, stupid-a$$." Went in with my wife to try it out after getting two coupons in the mail for free combo meals. I wish we would have stayed home. My wife got what looked like a bunch of nose hair or eye lashes in her burger. They were noticed in what would have been her last bite. I didn't have to think more than 2 seconds to know where I would go to fulfill this craving!! They have the best Baked Potato Soup... loaded. Every now and then, you can get it for $1 during their promotional deals but regular price is around $2.50. So delish. Their burgers are also great--- MOST OF THE TIME. I've had to complain a couple times but they are always good with re-making the burger or offering coupons. But anyways the ingredients are fresh and the burger is great. Two stars for the good tunes playing and the very clean bathrooms. I enjoy the the Turkey wraps there, they are fresh tasting and the spicey mayo is delicious. BUT...the portion size seems as if it's gone down in the past year or so..but still tastes good. Fry sauce is really good. Lemonade was good...fries ok. What turned me off completely was that we sat for a half hour and listened to banter between manager(s) and employees about BS ...actually heard manager telling employees to quit standing around and go do something..clean parking lot, anything but stand around. Never had a bad time at this location. The staff is always friendly and professional. Best margarita's in town, hands down. You can pay $10 for a lot worse margaritas in the Old Market. Maybe it takes a couple to get a buzz, but hey, they are a buck. The food is standard fare and it's a nice mix of booze only and family groups. Cheese Frenchies!!! No, seriously. Cheese Frenchies!! If you've never heard of a Cheese Frenchie then you're obviously not from Nebraska. We moved to oklahoma sevwral years ago and had to travel to the Omaha Metro area for an unfortunate family event and found solace in the comfort food that is a Cheese Frenchie. Nobody does it better than Don & Millies. We used to work only a couple of blocks from the Omaha location years and had never tried the one in Bellevue. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Fries were marvelously hot and crispy, onion rings were deliciously flaky. Fresh made ranch dressing via pump! To top it off, homemade chocolate chip cookies were terrifically tasty. The metro area has definitely changed, but it's nice to know some things never change. Taste of home! read more

What a RipOff I paid over3.00 for potato soup. The mini bowl maybe 6 oz was at Least 1/2 inch from top of bowl. Ordered cheese only on top not bacon or green onion. The bottom of the bowl had cheese top of bowl had cheese and onion. Mostly just 1/2 cup of soup. What a rip off for size and I did not order double cheese or green onion. Live in the neighborhood they always mess the order and don't seal the lid down on cups so the soda is all over the console. Who is charge of this staff? Food: My family and I have eaten here a couple of times after moving to the area. Both times the burgers were way to greasy with the bottom bun completely saturated with grease. I understand burgers are greasy, but not that greasy. The french fries were great. Atmosphere: It has the 50's diner feel to it. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting and they need a major overhaul. I felt dirty after using the restroom there just from being in the restroom. Additionally, there were hundreds of boogers on the walls above the urinals. Customer Service: The cashier we dealt with was certainly not a bundle of joy. Conclusion: I do not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty other burger joints that are way better. read more

Absolutely disgusting everything is so greasy. The burgers you get are literally sitting in grease in the container. The chilli dogs are even greasy to the point the bun is soggy and disgusting.
