Always such a treat! I'm very picky about Italian food, and this is one place I trust for amazing Italian. The cannolis are my FAVORITE.

Overpriced. $5.50 for a cheeseburger on a bun with nothing else. Wasn't really that good either, tasted like frozen meat. Can't recommend.

Don't ask me how to pronounce it. No one seems to know…read more There is something about Spezia that is so welcoming. No wonder it's always packed. Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

Spezia, you let me down!…read more Our waiter struggled to keep up with the dinner rush. We arrived for our reservation and were seated at 6:40 where we weren't greeted by our waiter for quite awhile. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask for bread so we decided to skip appetizers and go straight to our entree. When ordering the entree our waiter said "and which salad would you like?" And then listed the salad options. Normally when ordering a main and the waiter says which salad do you want that's because the salad comes with the meal. Nope. We were charged $11 per salad that we didn't even really want. The salads were your average side salad, but thankfully had good dressings. We hadn't brought up salads, the waiter did when we ordered our entree. So we were disappointed to have $20+ in salads that we didn't request until the waiter offered them. Our salads were finished for at least 15 minutes before our main entree came out at about 7:30, nearly an hour after we had been seated. My shrimp scampi was good, the broccolini was a touch under cooked but the flavors were still good, and the shrimp was surprisingly large in size and cooked exactly how it should be. Had we been served quicker and not offered things that didn't come with our meal when ordering our meal we may have been happier, hard to say. The table next to us was sat about 10 minute after us and had a different waitress. They received their entire meal (including bread & apps) and left before we were offered dessert. The food is good, I won't discredit that at all. But when coming to a restaurant like this you are expecting a level of service that we just didn't get. I'm sure we'll try again in the future and if service is better I will definitely update my review but for now, this was a let down of a birthday dinner.

Right off the bat, we were greeted warmly and had the sweetest waitress. We ordered drinks and some focaccia. It came out warm with fresh parmesan cheese and oil. Light and airy, it melted in our mouths - absolutely delicious! Our pasta entrees were each perfectly seasoned and plated. Al dente. We both could have licked our plates clean! The sauces were perfection. And then the best part of an already flawless meal - the homemade tiramisu. If you come here don't order that, what are you even doing?! It was so good, I needed a cigarette afterwards (and I don't smoke). We will without a doubt be back, sooner than later. Thank you, Cibo Vino!

I've been here on multiple occasions and the consistency and service is unmatched. I think they do a really great job handling busy evenings because I've never had an issue getting a reservation here last minute. It helps the restaurant is large, but I haven't found it influences the quality. My favorite menu items are the vodka pasta and the brown butter alfredo. It's a really hard debate every visit. For $4 you must try the very large portion of rosemary focaccia. They also have one my favorite Caesar salads in Omaha. I also love to snag a spot on the patio if available -- great people watching!

For the quality you get, the prices are hard to beat, which makes the experience even better. The ambiance is warm and classic, exactly what you would hope for in a traditional Italian restaurant. It feels authentic and comfortable. Service was fair overall, but they were extremely busy when we visited. Our server was clearly working hard and doing their best to keep up, which I appreciated. On peak nights this place fills up quickly, so reservations are definitely recommended. If you are looking for great Italian food in Omaha, Vincenzo's should be at the top of your list.

This is a MUST HAVE, I repeat a must‑have. Perfect crisp outside, soft inside, next‑level cheese pull, and that garlic drizzle seals the deal. I could've eaten just that and left happy. For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. The kiddo crushed her cavatappi with shrimp -- fork never stopped moving, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Though it could be considered slightly pricey, it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

We worked up a big appetite after spending the day at the Omaha zoo. Plus the hubby wanted pizza!…read moreThanks to Yelp for this find, it was only a 8-minute drive from the zoo. We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood. From the fresh dough, to fresh cheese and marinara sauce.. these pizzas alone are a huge reason we will come back. Our daughter had the buttered noodles which were also tasty. Our server was great, food came out in a timely manner. The space itself is clean and cozy. There is a bar, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Thanks to the Via Farina team for a fantastic dinner experience!

Great beer with Lumen on tap and great apps!…read more We had a good experience with friends out for our first time in a long time. The bread and cheese dip special at the time was amazing! I would definitely go back. We had a group of 6 and the place was busy but we did see the servers were working hard. The only way I would say they could improve is attention to empty glasses or provide larger glass options if they want to sell more beer. Good service overall, I'm usually more thirsty than most! lol Check it out for sure!
