We really enjoyed the variety of menu options. I was grateful there was a veggie (not vegan) burger and that steamed broccoli was a side option. And OF COURSE the custard was super delicious! The mix ins are great but totally not necessary as the custard stands on its own. So good! Everything - manager was disorganized and really didn't care if people waited for food - she was dishing out refunds instead of managing the store. We love Culver's for the kids menu for our 3 kids. Good options for a kids meal and even comes with a ticket for free custard after your meal. Staff is always friendly, and really appreciate their patience at the register when my kids are being indecisive. Also the manager Joe is awesome, he walks around and always asks if we need anything additional and is always very kind with kids. Of all the quick service restaurants in the area, including the fast food spots, Culver's is up there as one of the better ones. They have good burgers, they fry their chicken well and with clean oil, they have great custard, a military discount, and some of the crunchiest onion rings ever made. My daughter and I swung in for a late lunch on a Sunday. The parking lot was huge and they have a drive through. (First time at any Culver's). The facility was clean and not incredibly busy. The service was pleasant and prompt. I will say that the condiment station had a few spots of ketchup here and there but there were also employees cleaning and restocking all throughout our stay. We ordered 4 chicken strips and onion rings. The chicken strips were real chicken and not the ground chicken you'd find at other restaurants. Culver's is a great place for a sweet treat on a hot day. The burgers, fries, salads, soups, entrees, and sides are also good. Usually I get a kid's meal of cheeseburger, fries, and a dish of flavor-of-the-day custard. Today I was getting chicken tenders for my dog after his vet visit and vanilla shakes for me and Bookguy. I was offered a pup cup(whipped cream)which I usually avoid because it's messy in the car, but with only one dog, I decided to go for it. My dog was so good for the vet, he deserved it! He also loved it! The chicken tenders came just-out-of-the-fryer-hot, requiring a few minutes of cool down with the lab drooling over my shoulder. I discovered real chicken under a crisp. seasoned breading. After sampling a morsel, I decided they can compete with the likes of Arby's for flavor and moist meatiness. My dog scarfed them down. Bookguy and I have had the vanilla shakes quite often so the strong vanilla flavor and thick texture was as expected. I originally started going to Culver's for their milkshakes. Although I can no longer have milkshakes, I still go for their walleye fish dinners when in season. Their butter burgers are fantastic too when walleye is out of season. Convenient location, good service, and they take Apple Pay. I stopped in to rehydrate on a long hot bike trip and decided to try a chocolate shake and some chicken tenders. I love the fact that you can get here on a bike from the the major trails without riding on any roads. There's a trailhead in the parking lot! I've never seen such a well staffed fast food place! There must have been seven or eight people working behind the counter. It's super clean, the staff is friendly and the food is great. There are tables outside if you're still worried about COVID or someone stealing your bike, and they will bring your food out. The burgers were burnt, dry and super thin. The burgers were thrown together and the order was not right. Not impressed. Had solid expectations. Complete let down. Burger King, sonic, or McDonald's would be a better choice. I get that it's farm to table but it still should be quality and taste good. Most likely will not go back. The cooks/prep cooks are not wearing mask during the pandemic. The night manager told me it is because the cooks do not come in contact with the customers. But yet they touch our food. Nobody checks. The experience is like there are no management on duty. Just kids having a social hour instead of professionally taking care of customers. So good. I honestly don't know what I expected when I walked into Culver's. It's a chain restaurant that doesn't feel like a chain restaurant. They serve burger, fries, custard, and a variety of standard fare. The difference is that food is all fresh, definitely made to order, and delicious. We got two chicken tender meals. The orders came fast but not "oh your food was definitely sitting around half cooked fast. The fries were piping hot and perfectly crispy. The custard was so good. Oh man. All the caramel sauce, all the marshmallow, and all the cashews went into this custard and I've loved every bite. The staff is all really nice. The restaurant is clean and well managed. All in all if you have no idea what to eat and you do happen to be on Nebraska for whatever reason come and check out Culver's. It's a safe bet and you probably won't leave unsatisfied. read more

Heard a bit of advertising from Culver's ref their outstanding Cod fish sandwich and wanted to give it a try. Service was quick at the register which provides you with a number to put on the table after which they bring out the food to your table when it is ready. Pretty fast overall. Had the Cod fish sandwich value basket which comes with fries and a drink ($7+ dollars). The fish sandwich comes with tartar sauce, lettuce and shredded cheese served on a hoagie roll. Roll was fresh, but kind of thick. Fish was okay, not a whole lot of taste. Sandwich was average. Fries were crispy, but needed some additional seasoning. Also got an order of cheese curds ($3.49 for reg size) (really good) - course I could probably eat my weight in cheese curds. Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing over the top outstanding either. Culvers also serves a variety of custard products, but still a bit too cold for that. read more

I've visited this location over 20 times this year, and without exception, the service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The food is about as good as a fast burger chain could conceivably get. Although they feature their burgers, those are probably the least appealing items they serve. Try a pot roast dinner for something special (okay, it's not like home made, but for something you can get from a drive-through window, it's pretty remarkable). Culvers has been a favorite of mine since I was a teen and now it's one of my kids' favorites as well. The butterburgers are fantastic but you can't go wrong with the pork tenderloin, fish, soups (broccoli cheese!) or salads if you're feeling healthyish either. Those are a few of my favorites but I actually can't recall ordering anything that wasn't good. Then of course the custard - super smooth and creamy. We had the cod dinner, the fried shrimp plate, a pork tenderloin sandwich, and a kids grilled cheese meal. It wasn't real busy so I was kind of bugged that the girl waiting on us looked bugged that we were there. I hate feeling rushed as if she had something better to do than her job. I went through Culver's drive-thru today (2/14/24), ordering for my wife and I two Walleye sandwiches and two medium fries. Good points: 1) they got my order right (one sandwich plain and one just as it comes), 2) they repeated back to me at the kiosk what I ordered to ensure they got it correctly, 3) the fries were good, and, 4) the temperature of the food was good. Bad points: 1) my sandwich had bones in it, which I had to spit out, wasting part of my sandwich in the process, 2) I had to pull over and wait for my food for 5+ minutes, as did the two vehicles in front of me. The vehicle at the front of the line probably waited closer to 10 minutes, 3) the buns and the fish were very oily (probably meaning the oil had not been preheated enough to the proper temperature before the fish were put into the fryer), 4) the cashier took my money, didn't say thank you, slapped a number on my side mirror, pointed to a spot I should park at, and said nothing throughout the process, but I said thank you to her, and 5) the person who delivered my food looked like someone just ran over her dog (she had a sour expression on her face indicating to me that she would rather be anywhere else but there), handed the bag to me, and didn't say thank you, but I said thank you to her. Gotta say Culver's is my favorite fast food. And one of the only places you can get frozen custard. I'd say stick to the basics (vanilla, chocolate); the flavors of the day are lacking. And be sure to pair your custard with a mouth-watering steak burger. There's a Target near by for the Tums you'll need afterwards. read more

I've been coming to this Culver's location for 15+ years for a good reason; food that is flavorful as well as fresh. I enjoy the cheese butterburgers as well as the mushroom butterburgers, cheese curds & chocolate ice cream. I haven't really had any significant problems here. The drive-thru can get pretty backed up so there are occasions where you might wait 30 minutes for your food, but most of the time you can just fly through there in about 10-15 minutes. Either way, its always worth the wait. read more
