We placed an online order, and proceeded to wait over 30 minutes with no result. We had to wait so long that the app kicked us out of the order, yet still charged us. We went thru the drive thru and to their credit the workers made our order for us, unfortunately we will not get a refund due to paying on the app and the staff not being able to find our ticket. After triple checking the order looked right on the drive thru screen, they still managed to forget toppings on our order. Really disappointed, especially after a long time of coming here with continuous forgetting of sauces, sides, and toppings. I get there and sat at the drive thru before waiting for someone before pulling up to the window to wait even more until I finally started pressing screen buttons. We ordered chilli cheese dogs, chili cheese tots, a real fruit slush and a blizzard. All of our food came out at a pretty reasonable time. We parked in one of the stalls because we were having a little date. We don't get those too often Our waitress was very sweet and asked if we needed anything else after she had given us everything. I didn't have any issue with the location. I know it's called fast food, but the reviews clearly show that some people just haven't worked in fast food. I think it was an average wait time and I worked at a fast food on international drive on Daytona beach in Formica. On 1/17/26 my wife and I experienced a 35 minute wait for two burgers, then another 15 minute wait (since one of the two burgers was prepared incorrectly (I asked for no lettuce, no tomato, no pickles and no mayo, yet all was present); so I had to send it back for them to get it right). There were 4 in line and maybe 4 other cars parked (like ours), so they weren't super busy. So basically, it took 50 minutes to get two burgers as ordered. I am less than happy. DO NOT COME HERE it was the worst service ever. We placed our order at 7pm and didn't receive it until 7:35. I placed my order on the app and checked in, they must've bumped the order on their screen without making it. It said someone was heading their way with my order but they never came so 15 minutes later I pressed the red button to tell them what was going on. I don't know how you can really go wrong with simple customizations for ice cream? As being a former employee of Sonic. I know the ins and outs of the business. When I simply ask for a cheesecake blast? Yes I mean use the toppings and cheesecake syrup as you do the shake. A banana blast? I really had to explain to you how to blend the banana, add ice cream and blend together? I don't know if these employees are all minors and just don't understand, but yes, everything on the menu is entirely customizable, do not say that you are unable to make something when you 100% can. Maybe the staff just wasn't trained thoroughly? I'm unsure. The only complaint really is just the ignorance from staff, but as you can imagine that is seriously an issue. read more

We told the general manager and they wouldn't give us the half price drinks that we would normally get with the app. And then to top it off our drinks were filled to the very top with ice - almost no actual drink in our route 44 drinks. Gross. Ordered a cheeseburger and shake. The burger was soggy and gray and smelled sour. One bite and in the garbage it went. Also, she handed me the shake with the plastic dome top. The top does not seem to fit well so upon putting it in my cup holder, it opened and dropped pouring milkshake all over my car. Not her fault, but faulty mechanics of the materials. State of the premises: 1st stall I tried the screen showed a computer reset...couldn't teach my order or pay. 2nd stall the adjacent screen (ie the screen to the right) was twisted and I couldn't pull in without hitting it. A few other people have obviously hit it and twisted it around. 3rd stall seemed ok but the person couldn't tell what stall I was in...I had to tell her. -Bottom line: stall maintenance sucks. Service: The person taking my order was in such a rush, and wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise, that my order was all jacked up. Wrong item number, add/remove wrong condiments, etc. then she seemed pissy that she had to start over from scratch in order to get it right. -Bottom line: service sucked. The customer is not always right, that saying is a lie. However, I was polite and just wanted to be able to clarify that I wanted mustard (not mayo) no lettuce, and fries (not tots). And I wanted a #2, not #3. But instead, the hurried person on the speaker wanted to lecture me that mayo is the only condiment option on #3, even though I didn't order #3. Suggestion 1: fix your property. Suggestion 2: slow down and YOU won't screw up. Take the extra two seconds to listen to the customer clarify what they are asking for and YOU won't screw up. This has to be the absolute worst Sonic location ever. I'm not sure if the employees think it's a joke or they just don't care THAT much that every thing has to be horrible. The first time we ordered 2 mastershakes it took at least 20 minutes to make it to the car. The order was on the way then just disappeared from the app without being delivered. When we finally got them they were so melted, obviously just sat there after being made. I ordered oreo cheesecake and there was only two or three bites of cheesecake, no graham cracker crumbles at all, in my oreo cheesecake. Second time I ordered a cheesecake mastershake thinking I will just add oreo at home and they'd have to put more cheesecake bites in there. Nope. This time I tried strawberry cheesecake. Forget looking like the picture on their menu, it isn't even pink in color. It has absolutely NO cheesecake in it and has maybe a couple bites of strawberry. Who wants a bland strawberry shake?! Beware of the drive though. I love Sonic. I go all the time because it's cheap and delicious, but oh my goodness I get so frustrated with the drive through. There is some sort of issue with the microphone or the employee headsets because there is always confusion while ordering even though I'm nearly yelling. I don't know what the issue is, but it's clear with the other reviews that this a common issue. Maybe because so many people still go management doesn't feel the need to fix it. Sonic has gone so far downhill....such rude employees in the drive thru..if I have to wait 10 minutes for my food I'm assuming it's being made fresh. I visited the Sonic location at 1307 Cornhusker Rd, Bellevue, NE 68123 last night. was flabbergasted to realize after I pulled away and saw an employee walking out the door to service a car in a stall & was wearing a mask - that the employee Kenny at drive thru window was NOT wearing a mask - at all. I called and spoke to manager Jaxon/Jackson, and he stated, "I am not able to monitor employees at all times." .............. I reminded him that as manager it is absolutely his responsibility to monitor his employees, and taking a quick "spin" around the small interior of the building periodically to ensure his employees were compliant with policy, would be very appropriate as manager. He agreed with everything I said.... SO, when i completed my shopping at a store in the same location grid, i swung by to see if the employees were compliant. Kenny then had his mask on ----- but, IT WAS PULLED DOWN AND RESTING UNDER HIS CHIN. this is the person who touched my credit card, my sauces, and my bag of food, etc; who is also, most likely, touching his face and who knows what else and mostly likely not washing his hands after he does - and, is TOUCHING OTHER CUSTOMERS CARDS/CASH THAT THEY HAND HIM BEFORE MINE - never being able to wash his hands between. so any germs just being passed from 1 person to the next to the next. The manager stated to me that they "take everyone's temperatures when they arrive", how is that to be trusted that they really are doing so - if he cannot be trusted to consistently enforce policy on employees wearing masks, so can we trust temps are really being taken? can we trust if an employee has a temp they're really being sent home - since that would leave the team short staffed during that shift? The manager sounded very young to me, not that young people cannot be managers, but clearly there are those who are not mature enough, with leadership skills and commitment, to be able to "manage" employees successfully. I've placed a call to corporate, the message taker could not give a timeframe as to when I will receive a call back - stated essentially, "they don't give us timeframes with everything going on." I replied then with, "so there's not a goal of within 24 hours, 72 hours, a week, a month - 6 months?..... Do you see what I'm saying here?" He replied that he did, but could not provide any further details. So, if y'all care about not being exposed to a global pandemic virus with over 200,000 deaths in 7 months within our borders, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! This is the only chain I've been to of Fazolis, McDonalds, Burger King, Runza in recent months since I started trusting it was okay to obtain food from outside my home since March - who has employees not wearing their masks at all times while they're within the building. read more

She placed an order for a chicken strip meal for my son, and a quarter pound double cheeseburger meal without pickles, mayo or onions for myself. My wife was so upset with how she was treated by whoever was taking the order, that she decided against ordering anything for herself. She felt he was very rude, and rushing her to place the order. One I had to argue with the lady taking my order about wether the Super Crunch Chicken combo comes with tots, it does it's in the description of the meal as she tried to charge me for an additional order if tots. No thanks, I'll go somewhere where the staff knows the menu. So, I eventually go back a few weeks later for an easy ice cream and drink order. And we don't find out until the order arrives that they're out of spoons. You should probably let people know this before they order sundaes, just sayin. And quit being so stingy with the snickers crumbles on the waffle cone sundaes. Alas, I will probably return again, I like the Cherry Limeades too much. I could understand if they were new or couldn't hear me but I was practically yelling into the mic. It was bad enough someone else took over for her and he could hear me just fine.
