Thank you for fitting my Aunt for the proper shoes. Long story short I was hiking with my Aunt where she sprain her ankle hiking because of ill fitting shoes. That day just happened to be Runners Gala at RWU so since she was in the area I had to take her to RWU to get properly fitted. My experience here has been nothing shy of AMAZING! The staff is educated on every aspect of running and the shoes that they sell based on your personal foot profile. I only come in every couple of years to get myself new running shoes and it just keeps getting better! Ray helped me out and was respectful, patient and brought me nearly 8 pairs of shoes to try because I didn't find my match. From there I was having a hard time choosing the shoe color (yes, I became one of those) and he didn't rush me or roll his eyes while I was trying to decide aesthetics. I wanted to be happy with my purchase and he knew that. I also asked about the return policy which is 10 days but didn't want to have to return used shoes for some dumb reason. Needless to say, this place amazes me every time and I even got solicited advice for improving my running performance which I've already put into action. I also really like that running events use this store as a bib pick up location. That should tell you something! The parking is always a drag but eventually you figure out a place to park it and once you get in you forget all about the struggle. Parking is in the back or on the street and free if you get lucky and find a spot. People that go into Run with Us are typically in and out anyhow so it does make sense to wait for someone to leave. Best customer service ever! I wish I had the sales associate who helped my bf and I. He was an older Latino male and was the best! He definitely is very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the feet, best shoe for your feet, and provided many helpful tips on how to strength your feet to avoid pain. Working in a profession that requires being on your feet for several hours, the right shoes plays a key role and the sales associate who helped us definitely did his job. We walked out with a few pairs because he was that good. Also, during the visit he even assessed my bf's feet to see what is causing so much pain. He then asked him to step on their machine to assess where do most of the pressure lands on his feet. Being new to socal, I didn't know where to go to get fitted for some new running shoes. This place had good reviews in Yelp so I checked it out. I went in a Sunday afternoon so it went busy at all. They had a nice selection of high quality running shoes and gear. They had me stand on a scale to see how my weight is distributed within my feet. The store associate came out with 3 different brands, and he did an excellent job finding some good shoes. I enjoyed all 3, but had to narrow it down between two at the end. I'm so unhappy with my experience here at your store. Earlier today I went in with my father to purchase some shoes. I had previously been to this location and thought that it would go great. I did take some shoes earlier, they fit me perfectly, but unfortunately after running 3 miles in the shoes, I realized that they ended up cutting my ankles really bad to the point where they were bleeding and my socks were covered in blood. My socks weren't short, so I knew it has to be the shoe. I just went back to the store to return the shoes and Adrian, the employee who helped me earlier seemed to have a complete switch in demeanor and all. He was very sassy, sarcastic, rude and made it seem as if it were my fault I were bleeding. He did accept the return but kept over emphasizing that I did something wrong. I asked him to show me and he literally just untied the shoes. Working in customer service, I know that no customer should be treated as such, and because I am completely unsatisfied with just how he dealt with me overall I thought it necessary to share my experience with other people who plan on coming in. My husband has had problems with his feet for a long time. His podiatrist suggested inserts with a wider shoe and referred us to Run With Us. I have purchased my gym shoes here for a number of years, so I knew they were good in helping to find the correct fit. This time, Peach waited on my husband and went way above and beyond with such patience and help. She would not give up until she was sure it was the right fit for him. Have always randomly bought running shoes that are on clearance at places like DSW, but not too happy with my last discounted pair so I decided to try out Run With Us after reading the Yelp reviews. One of the best decisions I have ever made, and I think my feet will thank me for it! From the moment I went inside the store, I felt at ease and totally welcomed by the staff. Also, I immediately got the sense that the staff was definitely knowledgable about running shoes. After all, they definitely look like they do a couple of marathons every year, if not more. After telling them how many miles I run each week, they looked at how I walked, they made me step on a foot pressure analysis machine, and they measured my feet. Surprisingly, it was recommended that I actually go a half size bigger for running shoes, and I was soon trying on the four pairs of shoes that were chosen for me. I was pleasantly surprised that all four pairs felt great to me! I was advised to take my time with each pair. They even suggested running with the shoes on the sidewalk outside. Throughout the process, all my questions were answered. Ultimately, I decided on a pair of Saucony Guide 10 shoes after running through the store for probably a couple of miles. Why not 5 stars? As many reviewers have noted, there's very little parking available at the back of the store. There were no open spaces, so I opted to park on an adjacent street. Parking was limited to only one hour on the street where I parked, and I did go over my time limit. Luckily, Pasadena PD wasn't fast enough! Also, I would have liked it if I was asked in the beginning if I had a budget. The prices were only given to me as I was trying on the shoes. Ended up shelling out $120 for my new pair before taxes, which is the recommended price for the shoes I found online. I'll see you next time Run With Us when it's time for a new pair. read more

He analyzed my foot and needs, and brought me a lot of choices. He listened to my feedback, and I left happy with my purchase I am looking forward to this evening's walk with Tasha. I can't recommend this store enough. He even made suggestions on how I might walk to minimize pressure and hip pain. I started coming here maybe a year or so after they opened. The staff here is super friendly, attentive, willing to let you try any of the shoes until you find the right one. Their advice comes from actual running experience. My running journey started here with a pair of Brooks addiction motion control shoes. Whenever I returned to the shop for my next pair I would update whoever was helping me on my mileage, injuries, habits, etc and they always knew what the safe step-up shoe would be for me that would improve my running. It's wild to think that I started in a motion control shoe, as I now (with Sergio's advice) have been steadily cruising in a shoes with little, to no heel drop. I have yet to purchase my running shoes from here, because I'm pretty loyal to another running store in Los Feliz, but I have dropped in here a couple times to pick up Balega's for my son. They don't have the greatest color selection but I'm sure my son couldn't care less about that aspect. I turned him onto these because I love running in them. Service is always friendly and they have a run club, which I wouldn't rule out heading out onto the streets of Pasadena with if I'm ever in the area in time on a Monday evening. I made sure to patronize the store on small business Saturday as let's face it if we aren't talking food/coffee this is probably one of the best small businesses in the area. An amazing running specialty store, for both new runners and experienced veterans. I came in to get fitted for a pair for running shoes, because I have maybe run a total of 10 miles in my entire life. The staff was not only extremely patient and friendly, they were very knowledgeable and definitely cared more about educating me about proper running gear and attire than selling me anything. The employee first had me run around the store a little bit so she could tell me about my gait, and then she had me stand on a kind of sensor to see how I stood as well. We concluded that I was around a size 8, 2E(wide), and overpronated quite a bit when I ran. Because of this conclusion, she recommended I try shoes with more arch support. After asking me about my budget, she went into the storage and brought me not one, not two, but five pairs of shoes to try. She helped me loosen them and basically babysat me as I tried on each pair of shoe and ran around the store. This took around 30-40 minutes in itself. She was very conscious of how I felt and didn't crowd me or make me feel like I was taking too much time, however was attentive enough to answer any and all questions that I had. After trying out all the shoes, I actually decided that I wanted to take more time before buying a pair of shoes, but I felt so bad saying anything after she spent so long helping me try shoes on. She sensed my apprehension and actually told me to take time to think it over and come back before I said anything. I think that interaction in itself sums up my experience here and is absolutely unbelievable. The store employee advised me that as a student this was a big investment and told me to think about it before buying a pair of shoes. I was more than impressed. While I was there, a bunch of veteran runners that run in a group with some of the staff at the store came in and asked about shoes and attire and just conversed with each other. I could tell that the store was not only educational but sold their stuff at a competitive price point, because all the runners seemed to know what they were talking about and made it clear that they came to 'Run with us' for all their gear. The brands of shoes that they carried consisted mostly of: Brooks, Mizuno, Adidas, New Balance, Basics, and Pearl Izumi. Some of the runners at the store told me that they stocked more of the better quality shoes and less of the fashionable,trendy ones. read more

I have gotten about 4 pairs of running shoes here. I love each of them very much individually. The employees there are very kind, knowledgeable and most of all patient! They have a machine that will scan your feet so they can find a shoe that is tailored for you. I went in for some running shoes and the SA (I didn't get his name sorry!) brought out about 6-8 pairs of shoes for me to try on. I was beyond grateful. The store has everything a runner will need; from lights, compression socks, running belts, water bottles, Garmin/Suunto watches, energy gel/chews, etc.. Wowzers Ok I am going to admit something....... I have never purchased a pair of running shoes in my LIFE. I figure all shoes are made of running right??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO this is not the case. And after joining a running club I decided to pay Run With Us a visit to see just what these "running shoes" were all about. When I arrived I was immediately overwhelmed by the selection. I imagined maybe 2-3 selections possibly 2 different colors to choose from. Nope they had many brands and types and colors to choose from. The sales rep (or whatever you call the staff) was EXTREMELY helpful. He approached me and asked what I was looking for and when I explained I was a virgin to the whole running shoe ordeal he understood and helped out. He measured my foot (which I turned out to be a 6.5 when usually i by a 5.5 I guess they run different) and then he looked at my stride to help choose what support I needed. He got my three different selections (all in differing colors) with the support I needed. And when I stepped into those shoes......OMG I'm sure I experienced something fantastic such a cock slipping into a cushioned vag cus boy was it heaven! My feet have never been pampered by such a comfy shoe in its life. I felt like I could run miles on miles on miles!! I ended up spending close to $100 (with $10 off with a check-in). I came to this place after having numerous people sing it's praises. Both runners and non told me how great the fitting process was and how they always got the most comfortable shoes ever from here; so I was naturally excited to come and get some new workout and running gear... it seems that I got dealt quite the lemon. I came in and was straight forward; I needed a pair of shoes for my Zumba/aerobic workouts and wanted to get a pair for trail and trail running. The only evaluation they did was have me walk a straight line and measure my feet. No questions about fitness level, joint issues, nada. I didn't notice at the time due to shopping right after a grueling shift. I picked from the selection they deemed correct for me and I should have been more weary to pick sale shoes, it seams. That part was my fault; but I thought I should trust them. My mistake indeed. Pair #1: the aerobic shoe they pulled for me is possibly too small. They measured my feet, so I'm a bit surprised, but they make my toes feel like they are falling asleep (and they are not tightly laced). They hurt my feet and have impaired my workouts. Pair #2: while it's been too wet to trail run; in a desperate maneuver I wore them to a workout class tonight and they were worlds better- but still hurt my arches (i don't even have crazy arches!). Now it might be new shoe break in, I hope, but it might be a total wash. I've never had such poor luck with workout shoes! All in all- I'm displeased. My feet hurt, I feel cheated, and my wallet hurts (and with both pairs having been final sale; I can't even try for a refund, even with the light wear). Shopper be cautious!! read more

While in New York and walking around I was wearing my Saucony running shoes but I had pain in my feet and lower back the entire time there. I knew it was probably my shoes and it was time. Upon arriving back into town and after my Epilepsy walk at the Rose bowl my friend told me about Run with Us. So I decided to go after lunch. The store is well equipped with many running variety of running shoes and accessories. Our helper was very knowledgeable about his stock of shoes and took my measurements and gave me a detailed explanation on why he chose the shoes for me. He was not pushy or try to up sell me on more expensive shoes but just gave me the information I needed. I have to say my experience at Run With Us didn't have as good results as some of the other Yelpers. I've been having trouble with my right foot cramping up. So I went into the store and a guy did a thorough assessment of my feet - wear patterns on my current shoes, measured my feet, watched me walk back and forth a few times, etc. And of course I told them about the cramping, so the guy did a physical inspection of my feet. Well, after all that, I bought a pair of athletic shoes, and guess what-- I have to get rid of them because they hurt my feet. Since then, I bought some shoes online from a company called "Greats." The Greats I bought are more just sneakers than full-on athletic shoes, but they don't hurt my feet, so I'm very happy about that. read more
