This particular Ruby Tuesdays is excellent. It's clean, not that others have not been, but the food, service and cleanliness is consistent at this location. We tend to get the sliders here, I get the buffalo chicken sliders, there is a cooling sensation to them and my boyfriend loves the regular beef sliders. Nothing about them ever bums us out. It comes with the salad bar included (not everything here does). I usually shun any type of buffet situation, but they keep this one clean, we watched and they remove the pans and replace them without spooning the leftovers from the old pans into the new fresh ones. They give you some sort of extra "bread" plate, some fancy bread or muffins, tasty but we were so full from the unlimited salad bar and the sliders to enjoy them. We get so much for our money here. Generally we find RT restaurants good. My husband asked for his burger medium and it came close to rare. He only ate the edges. By the time the waiter came to check on us, my husband was so turned off by the very red burger he didn't even want to look at it anymore. When we told the winter he said he could take it back and cook him t more if we wanted but again, it was already eaten around the edges. We declined. I guess we expected an apology or something but got nothing but the bill 20 minutes later. I don't think we will go back here. read more

Coming in from the airport, we needed a place to eat STAT and this was it. It was 20 minutes before they closed but they were kind enough to seat us and serve us. I don't k ow what is with the water (to drink) but it tastes horrible. The broccoli must've been boiled in this water because it had the same strong "odd" flavor. Salad bar was limited in selection but I figured that was because it was the end of the night. Ribs were good as were chicken and appetizer. They had run out of iced tea(?!) so had ginger ale. Our server was quick and to the point, I'm assuming due to wanting to close. Due to being seated in the bar area, I got to over hear the obnoxious young female bartender talk about how many jobs she works and flirting with old men. I came here with a party of 18 last weekend. We were staying across the way at the Fairfield Inn and in town for an annual Subaru event held at Stafford Speedway about 30 mins away. About every 6-8 months we try it again, either because we forget how not good it is, or because maybe we are hoping it's improved. This might be the last time. Overall the food is consistently just mediocre. This time around we had the salad bar and a couple of burgers. The salad bar appeared to be "less than" what we have seen in the past - 4 bowls of lettuce, appeared to be one of iceberg, one of an "iceberg mix" (read - mostly iceberg), spinach, and another "medley". I stuck with the lettuce that actually appeared to be green, with a little spinach. The vegetable section was ok for the most part with the exception of the dried up slivers of carrot that came straight from a pre-prepped bag. No radishes, no broccoli except was was swimming in creamy dressing and bacon. The house dressing was full of other peoples vegetables and croutons - really unappealing. It's not a bad deal for the $2.99 add-on with the burger, but if I paid the menu price of $8.99 I'd feel ripped off. The server asked if we'd like the cheddar biscuits with our salad - after saying yes they arrived just before our burgers were delivered. The biscuits were more like a very small cookie - on the sweet side with somewhat of a garlic flavor. These certainly have changed since the last time we were there - these were about the size of an oreo cookie. Burgers were ordered medium - both came well done without a shred of moisture. Hubby "upgraded" to the triple prime burger - frankly it looked and tasted like my more pedestrian burger. I opted for the pretzel roll option - it was dense, dense, dense - not a good option for a sandwich. I'm not sure if I got one that was stale or if they are all that way. Would not recommend. Fries delivered with maybe two teaspoons of ketchup in a little cup, they brought more quickly when asked. There are so many better options around we'll be skipping this in the future. read more

It's been awhile since I've been here, but this place is just okay. Being a vegan, I don't have many food options so that probably alters my review. The service has been good the past few times that I have been here. They have good guacamole, which is pretty much the only vegan option besides salad. Stopped into Ruby for happy hour and a meal. I was pleasantly surprised there was no wait on a Friday night. The server was friendly and helpful with the menu. A good option if you're looking for a sitdown meal near Bradley. Ruby Tuesday is a half-notch nicer than some of the other nearby tableservice chain restaurants, like Friendly's. Had the BEST service with this Ruby Tuesday's catering my daughters baptism and birthday party. We had a salad bar set up when arriving after church and then had two pasta options with chicken which were warm when served. The party had 85 guests and there was more than enough food. Worked with Melissa Wagner who was prompt, polite and went over the top to be sure I had everything needed for the event. I will absolutely be using this Ruby Tuesdays for events in the future and recommend everyone else in the area do the same! read more

Honestly we have been here several times in the past two years (our daughter loves it) and have has great food and great experiences. Tonight was very different. It's honestly like people just don't know what to do or how to behave when things go wrong. I order the petite sirloin as I always do because it's always perfect. I ordered it medium. It came to me rare. So I politely asked if they could just put it back on to bring it up. The waiter was happy to. It came back... rare. The waiter asked if I wanted to send it back one more time. I told him that I've never had a problem and that I felt that the kitchen must be having a night and I'd rather not. He told me he would make me a new one himself. So I agreed. It came back.. the same steak... and half of it was still rare. The manager came out. He was apologizing and I assured him that I understand we all have days where things just don't go right and we would still be back. He said he'd take it off the bill and offered to give me dessert on them. I declined. I just didn't want dessert. Then the waiter came over and offered again and I felt like I had to to make them feel better. He said it was on the house. So I ordered cheesecake to take home to my husband. The bill comes.. the dessert was on the house but apparently my meal that wasn't eaten was. I paid and left. I will give them another shot because we had a really good track record before this. But I'm really hoping they didn't have a manager turnover. read more

My wife and I live close by and we have come here EVERY Friday for the past three years. We think it is great. It was recently remodeled and is visually very appealing.The staff is welcoming and could not be more accommodating. On a few occasions we have sent a steak back because it wasn't cooked right, and they gladly replaced it at no cost. Probably to save money, they have withdrawn certain items from the salad bar but there is still plenty and it is always fresh. Virtually the entire staff are in their early 20's and virtually all are going to college with many studying for a career in medicine. I know this fact is irrelevant in a restaurant review but we think their high goals make them more motivated. We have a single concern which we hope is only temporary. Apparently, the home office has completely redesigned their steak offerings and we experienced the change on our last visit. Even the manager agreed the result is not an improvement. Being a business women, sitting at the bar (maybe I was competition for the female bar tender...do not know) but totally ignored me for about 10 minutes greeting and serving new arrivals. Yes, I could have said something...but honestly wanted to see how long it would go on. Finally, ordered the chicken Bella and sides which surprisingly were good. Only wish I could have gotten past the her banter back and forth as she cozied up to the men who wanted those Happy Hour Deals. Never once asked how my meal was, and ONLY asked me if I wanted another drink when the bill came. Left a 20% tip and not even a break in her conversion to say...have a nice evening and/or thank you.. This is a mixed review. We have been here several times, sat at the bar each time. The food is pretty good for the price. The bartender doesn't seem to be very customer oriented. Lots of time between drinks, seems to do things when she gets around to it and conversations with other employees seems to be more important then serving customers. I chose to dine in at the Ruby Tuesdays in Windsor Locks because it was close to the airport and I thought it would be a better decision than eating fast food. Unfortunately for me, I've been up sick the whole night (I'll save you going into further detail) from the overpriced meal. Even more unfortunate for me, I am supposed to be at training tomorrow and will miss out on a valuable day. I took the time to create an account on Yelp for the sole reason of warning others because staying in a hotel away from the comfort of your home is bad enough, but being sick in that place is even worse. Do not eat here. Go to the sushi joint down the road or venture further out to the chilis - I've had pretty good luck at both. But for heavens sakes stay away from this place. read more

Stayed at a Marriott hotel nearby and I decided to walk over to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. The best thing about the restaurant was my waitress. The worst thing about the restaurant was the food. Ugh. I ordered the Dockside Trio with the garden salad bar. The Dockside was $14.99 and you would think that the salad bar came with it, but it doesn't: you have to pay an extra $2.99. The fish entrée was not impressive. The tilapia was dry and tasteless, the grilled shrimp were forgettable and the worst of the three was the fish I was looking forward to eating, the grilled Atlantic Salmon. I ordered it medium rare thinking that I was eating from the sushi grade menu at the Wood n' Tap. The waitress came back and told me that the chef advised her that I might get sick if I ate the salmon medium rare. I usually order it rare, but I took her advice and I was very glad I did. I don't know how long the salmon sat around in the refrigerator, but it was not fresh fish. As I ate it, I could taste the age. I was lucky I didn't get sick, just a little queasy a couple of hours later. I downed an Alka Selzer and it saved the day, since I was flying out the next morning. The salad bar was just average, nothing special, thankfully all of the items I tasted were fresh. It was the only saving grace. I will not eat here again. read more

This restaurant is about as corporate and robotic as you can get. The service is slow, and our server simply did not listen to our questions or orders. We asked if we could get small tastes of two wines we were considering, and our waitress said "sure!" It took a long time for her to bring them, and we later noticed that we were charged 50 cents per taste! This has never happened to us before in a reputable restaurant. I ate at this RUby Tuesdays against my better judgement. Steak and Lobster tail for 20 dollars I definately got what I paid for a very poor quality meal. My steak was cooked perfectly but it was such a tough piece of meat for medum rare. The menu said sirloin but sirloin should be tender. The Lobster was over cooked. I definatel believe it had been cooked previously and reheated. It was rubbery. What I didn't pay for I got. Poor unattentive service from servers and management. One server sat at the bar coloring a kids menu, two others behind the bar were looking at a phone I think scrolling through facebook. When a bartender finally approached me she greeted me brought me a menu and drink and I never saw her again. 15 minutes and 2 flag downs later someone else took my order. Management (3 managers I think) walked by several times and I never some them acknoledge one customer. When I left I walked past 5 servers and a manger at the hostess stand talking not one said goodbye asked me about my experience or acknoledged me in any way. I here the building was recently renivated. Maybe they should renivate the staff next. Worse of all when I wrote an e-mail to corporate to inform them of my bad experience noone contacted me at all. I will never go to any Ruby Tuesdays again! read more

The management has no idea how to run a restaurant. We (2 of us) were at the restaurant at 7:00 pm on a Saturday and were told it would be a 30-35 minute wait. While I was waiting I noticed four empty set up tables in the bar area for at least 15 minutes then I started looking and noticed there were at least 4 additional empty booths all would seat at least 4 customers. Then I noticed there were about 4-6 two person tables. We and probably many other customers came to Ruby Tuesday's because of the salad bar. The manager claimed she could not seat patrons at the tables because the kitchen was backed up. She could not explain why they could not seat patrons, give them drinks and the salad bar. At least, if the patron has a drink and is seated they will not likely leave. My wife and I left rather than waste another 15-20 minutes. We went to another restaurant 10 minutes away, it was packed but they managed to seat us in a few minutes. We had our entrees within 10 minutes. We were regulars at the Enfield location before they closed and never had this problem. The owner needs to get rid of the floor and kitchen managers and hire new ones. read more
