I had not been in a Ruby Tuesday in eons and eons and saw that they were running a deal on Thursdays for a Smashburger and unlimited salad bar so we thought we'd give it a try. The Smashburger was pretty good, and the fries were excellent. When the server asks you, whether you prefer a single burger or a double, order a double. The Smashburger's are pretty thin and if you only get a single, it's going to get lost in all of that bun. If you want to taste some hamburger then make sure you get two of them because they are fairly thin. The salad bar is well stocked and nicely chilled. It has about every single thing you could ever want in salad and then some. You will never lack for choice when it comes to the Ruby Tuesday salad bar. On their Thursday deal, you can go back as often as you like. Two of us had the same thing with diet cokes and it came to $27. This is a clean, though somewhat worn place with very good service and good food for a very fair price. Well done! read more

So we went to Ruby Tuesday tonight 4-14-26 at 7:36 pm. At the Ruby Tuesday location in Windsor Locks,CT Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that about 1/4 of the restaurant was full and 3 people sitting at the bar immediately a African American male were guessing he was the manager told us that there is a 45 minute wait! Again a 45 minute wait with barely any customers there. We asked why he said that's just the way it is. I asked if we could sit at the bar the answer again was no.? We usually go to this particular Ruby Tuesday about 2-3 times a month. Well guess what not anymore. We are still stunned by what had happened. Never again. read more

I consider myself as a regular here but tonight I decided to have the chicken Parmesan dinner. I've had it in the past but tonight it hit the spot and you get 2 large chicken breast Parmesan served with penne pasta and a bread stick comes with it. I couldn't finish it as they give you a large amount and you can't go wrong for $20. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed and we always we in the bar area and get wonderful service. Also you can get the unlimited salad bar for an extra $6.99 which is so fresh and over 20 items to choose from. read more

Very outdated and the chicken and pasta was just not up to par. The only great thing was the service cannot complain about that and that our bar was probably the only good thing. read more

Tonight I had a crispy chicken sandwich. It was delicious. It doesn't come with lettuce. But lettuce would be a nice addition if you request it. A little mayonnaise will be a nice touch too. Our waitress Faye was on point as always. The dining room is very comfortable and casual. Love eating at Ruby Tuesday always. read more

The service was fantastic. Refilled drinks without having to ask. I always love the salad bar and today it didn't disappoint. The food did come out lukewarm which was unfortunate, however it was tasty. The bathroom had an incredibly strong urine smell to the point it made my stomach turn. read more

I go here quite a bit and honestly this time I had the best service I have ever had by Liana. The other waitress/bartender never writes down what I'm having and it always gets messed up. I hate it every time. Last time I went she even said that I said it wrong when I know for a fact I didn't because I deal with it every damn time. This time this waitress Liana wrote down exactly what I wanted and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. This goes a very long way. The food was excellent and I didn't feel like I was a burden on the waitress this time. I felt welcomed. The only reason I put a 4 star is because normally my service sucks bad. This waitress is a 5 star. read more

I will say that this is going to be a completely transparent and mixed review. The ambiance of the store is late 2000's era. However once you sit down the chairs are extremely uncomfortable and the menus are approximately the length of the whole table, so if you're dining with anyone additional expect a tight fit. The service was exceptional and not for one moment did I feel left out of service or forgotten about. On top of that our waitress was very polite and swift. We had ordered potato skins, mozzarella sticks, and boneless wings. They were all bland and in my opinion nothing shy of decent microwaveable food. Disappointed from this we decided to add an additional queso and chips and they were quite tasty. The queso is decent but the chips have a seasoning that is feint but makes for a good combination. Once I ordered my entree I was sure that I was going to be disappointed until my Cajun chicken Pasta arrived and it looked decent apart from a sad piece of garlic bread that had more Cajun sauce on it from my pasta than garlic. Once I bit into my pasta I was delighted and almost had a euphoric feeling. It was absolutely delicious. Only improvements could have been noticed via presentation. The photo below is my plate after I absolutely scarfed down that beautiful beast. read more

I have not had Ruby Tuesdays in years, considering they closed down where I live. Came to visit my cousin out here and we decided to go for happy hour. She had a burger and I had the salmon. This Ruby Tuesday location in Windsor Locks is always a pleasure to visit . The staff are all very pleasant and well trained . They attend to all the customers needs and check back often to make sure everything was great . The food at Ruby Tuesdays is Windsor Locks is always delicious and the Rewsrds program is excellent. They offer many specials every week . It's hard to choose which ones to use . If the food is ever not to your liking , they go above and beyond to make things right . We try to go at least once per week . read more

The absolute worst Ruby Tuesday's I've ever visited. I sat at the bar as the place is pretty empty, I asked for the happy hour menu-they don't follow any standards and make items up and the female bartender got annoyed when I asked for something other then a beer. I of course added the salad bar to my meal but to my surprise it was in disarray, half the items usually seen are missing and food items are mixed together. My meal when it came was overdone but somehow cold at the same time. PS when you ask for a water with lemon, an orange isn't a lemon no matter how many times you say it behind a mask. I will not be returning read more

This used to be a good place to go, but not any more. While the food quality is slightly above average, it's priced too high for what you get. The last time I was here, the size of the burger was ridiculously small. This last visit, I had the single grilled chicken breast which was good, but over-priced at $16.99. The deals from the email I received this morning evidently were not honored at this location, as the garden bar entree that my friend got was priced at $12.99, not $7.99 as the mailing stated. All in all, decent food, poor value and deceptive/false marketing. I won't go back. Management replied to my Google review but the reply was taken down it seems. The responder didn't seem to care that I said I wasn't going back. read more

While staying in the area for a work project, there weren't very many options for food past 8PM. This Ruby Tuesday is located at a good spot and is walking distance from a couple of the hotels in the area. The setup is just as you would expect- pick up area and bar on one side, sit-down tables on the other. There are a few tv's around to watch the game in the bar area. Food is standard faire for this establishment. One night I had a burger and the next a crispy chicken sandwich. Both were good the presentation was nice and the person cooking the food did a good job with "medium-rare". The bartender on two nights was Matt and he certainly was a positive on my visits. Good attitude and a pleasure to be around. Although it was past 9PM he still had to clean and let those of us who were still eating finish our meals uninterrupted and didn't rush anyone out the door. read more

I have spent a lot of money in different places for bad food but wow this place takes the cake. Our order, tacodilla things, fried shrimp, shrimp and ribs, chicken pasta. Tacodilla - nasty Parmesan cheese sprinkled over top, cold grilled onions inside with some sort of cheesy Alfredo sauce. Oh and if you want salsa with the chips or taco things you are out of luck. Fried shrimp ( and shrimp and ribs) - taste just like Gordon's you would get from the store. All bland and flavorless. Can definitely tell it's frozen prepared stuff. The ribs had to be either cooked at noon and just left in a warming oven or tossed in a microwave and heated from frozen. Very dry. Chicken pasta - only thing that was half good and that is still up for discussion. Took my daughter there for her birthday and this was her order. I think she is trying to be nice because she knows not everyone else cared for what was passed off as food. read more

We chose this place because it was walking distance to our hotel. We ordered take out coz we are tired and just wanted to relax in our room. We ordered the special that comes with ribs, rib eye and shrimp and an order of fish and chips. When we opened our order, no shrimp plus when we checked our receipt we got overcharged for the fish and chips. And we even tipped for take-out! It sucks that we are expected to tip when workers are doing what they are getting paid for. I could care less about the tip but getting the order wrong and overcharging is not right! Though we went back and got what they missed, it's such an inconvenience! Food is just ok. I would not recommend this place. read more

Late night dinner stop while travelling prior to nearby hotel check in. Close to BDL airport. Seated promptly, friendly service, decent food that's gone up in price without any noticeable food quality increase. I rarely order chicken tenders anywhere but wasn't very hungry so did. I encountered gristle in 3 of the 4 tenders making it a yuck experience. I'm sure these are frozen and cooked so not much the restaurant can do about large spots of gristle. The baked potato and sautéed zucchini were enough to eat late night. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries and appetizer of onion rings we shared. read more

Oooooof. It's Saturday night and maybe 30% of tables seated. Service was painfully slow and inattentive. We had a party of six and they wouldn't give us a bigger table even tho the dining room is wide open and never got busier. Could hear constant chatter and laughing in the kitchen, meanwhile our entrees were coming out 5 mins apart. Menu pictures are deceiving, food was small portions and overcooked, but coming out lukewarm. Not to mention, our silverware was dirty. Would not come here again or recommend to anyone. I've been to other Ruby Tuesdays and this one is doing a disservice to the brand. read more

Actually my experience was very good. Salad bar was stocked and looked appetizing. The lettuce on the regular ice burg was a little wilted but they had other types and it looked fresh. My salad was pretty tasty with out the dressing. I ended getting the bourbon chicken with the grilled zucchini and honestly didn't look like a lot and maybe not as appetizing as the salad bar but the flavor was really good. It was a perfect portion for me. My husband ordered the bourbon salmon and he had zero complaints as well as our friend who is pretty picky said it was his first time to Ruby's and he really liked the menu selection and enjoyed his pork chop with mash potatoes. It was a win all the way around. Service again in CT Hartford 5 stars. read more

We came on a Wednesday to use a Buy One Get One coupon. The restaurant was very clean and not crowded so we were seated right away. Service was good overall as our waitress hustled as she was the only one on this dinner shift likely the result of the difficult times for restaurants to find help. I liked that the salad bar was open during the pandemic and masks and gloves were required at the salad bar (disposable gloves provided) which worked well. Salad bar was decent, nothing remarkable or bad for that matter. Ranch dressing was watery. I had a full rack Of ribs, wanted onion rings but they were out so had fries and zucchini. The ribs were "OK" and what I expected. On the dry side but slathered with bbq sauce to compensate and meat easily came off the bone. Zucchini was excellent and piping hot fries were just ok - could have been hotter and less soggy. She had Asiago chicken which was super cheesy and good. Chicken was very tender and same sides I had. It was a decent meal and value (with 1 free entree) but at full price I may have been slightly dissatisfied. I wish you could substitute salad bar for a side with a $2 or $3 up-charge versus having to buy for $5 as we each had 1 not so big salad. Overall we enjoyed the meal. read more

Went to Ruby Tuesdays today with the family. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries for $16. The cheesesteak was served on a hot dog bun, the size of my wife's hand, with a handful of fries. My wife ordered the ribs, which were extra dry. My sisters chicken sandwich was stringy and repulsive. On top of this, we waited 45mins for the food. We were sort of destined to come here because there's really not anything in this area. I noticed Ruby Tuesday's on my app so decided to try them out. The only good thing about Ruby Tuesday's is they have a five dollar large beers. I ordered the ribs and they were probably the worst ribs I've ever had. The meat was rough, chewy and cold and not good at all. I also ordered the asparagus and fully loaded potato. The potato was the size of a biscuit and the asparagus was drenched in oil. Only saving grace was the waiter was a good guy who was very accommodating read more

My husband and I used to eat here at least once a week...it is close to where we live and fairly consistent with many choices on the menu. Something is definitely wrong at this particular Ruby's because we have been to others in different parts of the country and they're like the "old" Ruby Tuesdays we loved. The service is extremely rude. There is a bartender "Fay" I think? She consistently is distracted (although it's NEVER busy because we come late, so I'm not sure what could be more important than giving good service and making a tip, lol) She always walks away from you when she asks for your order. It's quite odd actually...having worked 30 years bartending with extensive food service experience I cannot imagine asking for a customers order and walking away, to stand at the register to "plug it in" as you are speaking. This isn't McDonald's where you take orders at the register for gosh sake. Like it's too much effort to stand near you and jot it down (if you can't remember) and then go put it into the register? This last time I made a request for less seasoning because the previous visit my meal was quite salty (almost inedible but the service is so hostile I just let it go because I didn't want to ruin the night!) and when it came time to give her the discount code at check out she walked away (per usual) and went to stand at the register expecting me to basically speak the code across the restaurant. She has done this in the past (no other bartenders do it this way). But this time I said "I don't want to yell it to you , here take my phone and you can just do it that way". This is completely unacceptable. She then has the nerve to say " there won't be any need to yell ...I managed to hear you request less salt just fine. No yelling necessary". Really??? Unbelievable is all I can say. Also the place was literally dead and our meals took forever to get to us. What exactly IS going on in the kitchen! The bar is never wiped down when we get there...like she waits for someone to sit down before she gives a fig about keeping things neat and inviting. She'd rather get the closing routine done than serve the customers. It's the last time we ever eat there with that awful bartender on shift. We go to lots of other restaurants and they manage to find polite and capable staff so I can only point a finger at management for the hiring disgrace. The people who used to work there were so pleasant; how did this one sneak under the fence? The one star is for the menu choices. read more

I am very disapointed i went to the restrant one day and it was a TUESDAY and it was closed we decided to come the next day so i could complain to the manager. REBECA was very rude and was not any help. Also we found several hairs at the salad bar in the crutons. And to make it even worse my husband had diarrea all night and my son was up all night yelling i am going to edge (whatever that mean). I am very disapointed in the setting. The ambiance was absolutly terrable and i will make sure you will make your lights better read more

Upon picking up my food after ordering it online I had to wait while my bag sat there for a server to hand my food to me. When I got back, I had only gotten half of my food. Once opening the food, the plates were not appealing, nor were up to, the visual expectation that anybody would want to see their food. So we got no service well that shoots out there in the delivery area, we got half our food, and the food was not appealing. read more

Food is tasty, service is acceptable. My major complaint is that when you order a burger with a side of fries, the portion of fries is ridiculously small. I think I had about 13 French fries spread out on the plate. For a burger and soda at 18 dollars, I expect more. Their competition gives bottomless fries. At least give me one good portion. read more

Waitstaff were nice but food was marginal. People love the salad bar which was plentiful with an array of items. The romaine lettuce was brown on edges. Horrible all over from the host who seemed confused on where to seat people to the impatient waitress who basically acted like she was on fire. I ordered my meal with veggies and got it with fries I asked for the veggies and cocktail sauce so I guess she never changed the order so I had to wait for the veggies which was ok but she made me wait for the sauce so by the time she finally brought it my meal was cold. These people had the nerve to serve me raw fish and one sided cooked shrimp I ordered via GrubHub I called and spoke to somebody who claims they spoke to the manager who seem more concerned with me getting my money via GrubHub then them having a continued customer because they were getting ready to close I have never had a problem with my food before but I know I will never spend my $30 at this place again due to the terrible customer service. And even though they served me raw fish I just asked if I could just get my food remade - The lady over the phone replied who's going to bring it to you i'm not going to bring it to you ( keep in mind I never asked her to do so ) I replied I could pick up it up if it was remade she said no we are closed! -NEVER A FUCKING GAIN ! read more

My food was inedible. I had a baked pasta dish that was quite chewy and dry. I did everything I could to try and eat it (ordered more sauce...the sauce was good), but I could not.
