Awesome bar with lots of TV's. Basically the only place around the area to watch a game.

Been a few times since the shelter in place was lifted in late September. Loved sitting outside on the patio! Food and drinks were amazing, along with the quick and attentive service. We've had the queso and chips, ribs, broccoli and chicken alfredo pasta, margaritas, beer, etc. All really great!! Definitely will be back and continue to support the restaurant! read more

If you have an emotional support animal, don't bother going here. You will be told you have to sit outside. I turned back out the front door and left never to return. Just a little after 7pm today, Thursday 2/22/17, I walked in and asked the 20's/30's something girl at the booth with a magenta pink shirt the wait for a table for two. She says no wait, then a silver haired man comes to the front and starts asking questions about what my dog is trained to do. I pull my letter from my doctor out and show him- he starts to walk away with it and I stop him immediately. He says he needs to show his boss. I said I will keep my letter, go get your boss and I will show him my letter. I watch the man walk to the back through the kitchen, then back to me, clearly not having talked to anyone, and tells me we would have to sit outside - emotional support animals are not performing a function. I turn to the door and leave. I used to come here fairly often when I lived in salt lake but it's been a couple years. How downhill they have gone. read more

We went 2 nights in a row for dinner and both times pretty busy with waits but both times were excellent. Staff is friendly & attentive. Food came out fast and hot. Kitchen sounded like they were having a good night. Tables were cleaned and reset quickly. I highly recommend this particular RT's for its 5 star service. read more

We go there a lot and tonight we went in at 650pm and got seated right away, that where the good service stop. My family and I set there until 730pm with no services. And the place was slow until we got up and walk out. We will not be going back. read more

We didn't even stay to eat. I live in the area but the drive to the Windward mall location is worth it. My family wanted to eat here and its been a while so we figured we'd go. They gave us a 20-30 minute wait period for a party of 5. During that time large and small parties exited the restaurant. A family of 6 we seated before us but I guess they reserved. Then we're called in to find that they've put two small circle tables together. These tables couldn't fit more than 2 plates and a drink but they expect the 5 of us to share the space. We asked the hostess if we could take one of the FIVE empty booths but turns out half of inside had been reserved for a party of TWENTY and not all were present. Outside had a party of FOURTY. The system is beyond messed up. At least Gen's enforces that all in the party must be present to be seated and it is ridiculous to reserve that many seats during the evening. So much for keeping your customers happy so they keep coming back. We got up and when the Loco Moco Drive Inn. where we got our seats, food, drinks, and excellent service in less that 20-30 minutes. read more

The steak was on-point today! Medium well looked and tasted like medium well. Our server, Seka, was extremely kind and provided us with excellent service! Our meal was great, our water was always topped off, and our dessert was finished in a matter of minutes! Thank you Seka. read more

If i can give 0 stars i would. I came to dine in tonight but no server had came to help us. Waited for 30 minutes with my date! Bad service! The restaurant was also not busy was what made me mad so we left and ate somewhere else. If you are thinking of coming here dont! It literally not worth wasting your time! You can finish the Avengers Endgame twice before they come and help you! read more

My boyfriend and I are on the hunt for the best locomoco on this island. So this review is solely for the locomoco. We came here during lunch and we noticed that the locomoco was not on the menu. Asked the server and informed us that it was on the breakfast menu but could still order it for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised that their locomoco was better than the other restaurants who claims their locomoco are the best. Theur gravy was really good and is on the saltier side which I like! I would've given it five stars if there was sauté onions on top but overall one of the best locomocos out there considering it's a maindland chain restaurant. read more

It is in the congested Naval Base housing corridor mall but outside the Pearl Harbor Base...Lunch time can be jammed and it seems hectic....but it really isn't. Even at high noon we have always found a bar table. Service is fast, food good, food delays mild...turnover of tables is quick...younger "bite and run" crowd....affords unhurried diners a treat and an uncrushed staff that treats you well. Some write this place down....unfair eval in my opinion. This is a near upscale "goto" in my opinion. read more

Had lunch here with the daughter today because I had a Groupon. We arrived about 1:30pm and it wasn't busy, we must've just missed the lunch crowd. We were seated quickly and our server came shortly after to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Their special for the month of October is free salad bar with any pasta dish ordered. New gor their pasta dish is California Primivera, which I ordered. You have the option to add chicken for an additional cost. My daughter ordered the shrimp platter that came with 8 battered fried shrimp on a bed of French fries. Both dishes were tasty and the salad bar is always good. We ordered the fried raspberry cheesecake for dessert, four pieces per order. It was a nice, sweet treat to end our lunch. Overall, service was good. Our server was polite and checked on us to see how the food was and to refill our drinks. read more

Sadly, I am no longer going to dine at Ruby Tuesday... What happened from the last time I was here? I am at a loss for words. First off, I hate writing negative reviews. It's just not me, but hopefully some good will come out of it. We were in the area of Moanalua Shopping Center recently and decided to have dinner there because we generally have enjoyed our previous visits there. Now understand this, I have no problem with slow service if it's justified or if it's unusually busy. I am very understanding when it comes to that situation. But on this particular evening, we were just ignored. Plain and simple, period. After being seated and given our menus, I ordered a beer and glass of water. They were brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time. We also placed our dinner orders at this time too. After finishing my beer, I was asked if I wanted another one, which I didn't want. I was just hungry and wanted to eat. After waiting for an extended period of time, I started feeling ignored and out of place. You know that feeling, when people who came after you are getting their food before you... Our waiter passed us many times, never stopping to update us on our orders or to refill our water glasses, which were empty. We also didn't order anything special that would take extra long to prepare. I noticed a woman who I assumed was a supervisor or manager walking around, passed right by us, didn't even check if we were alright. I haven't felt so insulted in a long time in a restaurant and it spoiled my meal. I didn't even enjoy it, it looked like it was hastily plated and rushed. In my opinion, it was a mess. We just wanted to get out as quickly as possible because it was terrible to even be in there. We just told the waiter we wanted our check as soon as possible. It was a terrible dining experience and I am not going back. The suggested tip chart in the bill wallet starts at 15%, huh??? I am surprised at myself for even leaving anything. Never again. read more

Ruby Tuesday Moanalua - American Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I have been going to this location here and there for the past 10 years it seems. My visits started out great, then I started to notice it wasn't that great, so I stayed away for a while. On a whim my family and I decided to eat dinner here last night. Our server was Ivan or Evan (I really can't remember). Although he didn't get to us right away, he did acknowledge we were there. And being that we are a family that eats out a lot, I know for a fact not all servers do this. I don't mind waiting, but it irks me to wait without getting an acknowledgement; to just be ignored by our server is completely uncalled for IMHO. He finally gets to us. He starts us off with our drinks. A few moments later we order our apps and dinner. While we are waiting, we notice he makes his rounds to check his tables. This impressed me, because again, we do eat out a lot and I know for a fact this does not happen a lot. Our apps come, and then our dinner. My Shellfish Trio dish tasted great. So did the rest of my family's dinner (ribeye, chicken and broccoli pasta, and kids cheese stick meal), and our apps (spinach artichoke dip and 4 way sampler). During this time again I noticed our server did his rounds (he seems to come by every 5-10 minutes... something that is rare now a day). So our drinks were never empty, or if it was, it wasn't empty for too long. I noticed a couple next to us returned their food, and the server seemed sorry. The issue seemed to be fixed though as the couple seemed to be happy. But what impressed me was, the manager came by to apologize (which I don't see too much either now a days). His apology seemed very sincere. What stopped me from coming here in the past was the lack of service and "bleh" food. But after last night, I was impressed that it made me want to come back more often. I'm not too sure if the staff and cooks changed, but whatever happened it seems to be working (or at least win me over). read more

Just horrible service. It is so good it outweighs any Good that this establishment has to offer. I have passed by and have seen live music on the lanai, I have come here before for lunch dates, and for business. Each time the service had been mediocre at best, but today it was like...did our waitress quit her job and leave? Decided to stop in after Church for a quick breakfast, once our food was delivered our waitress was absent for 20 minutes. Never came back for drink refills, never brought or ketchup and hot-sauce, and of course the check? I went up to the front of course and paid our bill, but seriously? No-one covered down? Not to mention there was a table/group of about 25 people sitting outdoors with us, and we could hear them complaining that half of their food did not get served and were asking for to-go boxes because of they significant delay. Food was average, not bad however nothing special. The food portions were small for the price paid. Will NEVER come back here for business or personal matters. read more

I would have given this review another star except for one factor -- there was a hair in one of the lettuce compartments of the Garden Bar and it wound up on my dad's plate. Yup. We told this to our server, who had the manager come over to our table to apologize. He did apologize, with the explanation that, "Sometimes, the glass sneezeguard doesn't catch everything." ... okay. It was pretty gross to see that long hair in my dad's salad. I suppose I expected some kind of discount as a result, but that didn't happen. Nothing on our order was compped, but we did get a coupon for "buy one, get one free" for breakfast. I often don't go to Ruby Tuesday for breakfast, but now that I have a coupon, maybe I'll get to go. It's a shame that the whole hair incident took place during this visit, but other than that, our food was DELICIOUS ... and that was the premise for writing this follow-up review. My parents usually stick with our "go-tos" at Ruby Tuesday, but on this particular visit, each of us decided to changes things up and we ALL got something different (save for the Garden Bar add-on). My dad and I would gladly order these entrees again. My mom was glad that she tried something different, but I don't think she was impressed enough with her salmon to order it again. I must say: I've tasted lots of different chicken katsus in my life, but I didn't expect one of the best ones to come from Ruby Tuesday. I was definitely impressed and this "Chicken Katsu Loco Moco" is a dish I'm recommending to anyone I know who loves katsu + loco moco. Here's what we got: "Chicken Katsu Loco Moco": I'm always on the lookout for loco mocos with a twist, and I was curious to try this katsu version. I've had some katsu mocos at other local plate lunch places, but I was interested to see this chain's take on it. I was surprised by how good it actually was, based on two factors - the chicken and the gravy. The gravy was WONDERFUL. It wasn't too thick nor too runny, and it was flavorful. Perfect consistency to make it addictive. I have a love-hate relationship with gravy and tend to be wary of it, since I really don't like runny gravy. But I'm pleased to say this Ruby Tuesday version had me hooked and I actually asked for another container of gravy to accompany my leftovers. The chicken was perfectly breaded but not too crispy on the outside as well, making it easy to eat; the inside was succulent, juicy and tasty. I would have enjoyed it solo, no gravy included. But, the entrée featured panko-crusted chicken smothered with a rich demi glaze and topped with two eggs. I ordered my eggs over easy (as I usually do when it comes to loco moco) and once the egg yolk was broken, it was like a party of explosion in my mouth with every bite. "Hickory Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop": This was the entrée my dad decided to try during this visit. It featured a succulent pork chop finished on the grill, then glazed with a hickory BBQ sauce. It was served with white Cheddar mashed potatoes and green beans. The white cheddar mash was absolutely spectacular and had lots of flavor. And, my dad said the green beans balanced out the savory meal well. He really liked the taste of the pork chop, saying that it wasn't too fatty or tough to eat. He highly recommended it and said he would order it again in a heartbeat. "Hickory Bourbon Glazed Salmon": The salmon sounded promising and looked delicious on the menu, but in reality, it turned out to be burnt and overcooked. My mom was disappointed because it wasn't as moist as we all thought it would be, but she liked the smoky BBQ flavor, thanks to the glaze. She also substituted one of the sides and got garlic mashed potatoes instead, but stuck with the grilled zucchini. She said that if the salmon wasn't overdone, this meal would have been perfect. Still, she was glad to have tried something different from her usual soup order. read more

I came here for a quick lunch with friends. They ordered simple burgers. I wasn't feeling so hungry so I had the white bean chili. The waitress was cold and a bitch. We waited and waited for our food -especially mine since it's only chili which usually is prepared already in a pot. Just scoop and plop in the bowl right? It took 30 minutes for our food to come out and then the chili is cold! Like really cold. Very unappetizing and boring food. If you walk in now the carpet inside smells and it appears old already, despite it being a semi-new restaurant. I also came here once on the job. I won't say what I do, but we walked through the kitchen to find the manager whose office is in the back of the kitchen. After doing that I ain't eating here again. The kitchen floor was slippery with wetness and old spilt food. Food all over the floor that it smelt rotten - sort of like a pig farm. Nasty...All that around while plates of orders are waiting. Cooks are teenage kids or young guys in their twenties fooling around in the kitchen. Park here and play Russian Roulette on getting your car broken into as well! WIN! read more

Great food and friendly staff! Highly recommend their catering services too for large groups. I'll be back soon!

One star? Why, you ask? Because I couldn't give them ZERO stars. This review is based solely on my dining experience on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 during the lunch hour (approx. 12:40 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.) and it is only for this particular location. First of all our party including 6 (4 adults, 2 kids), of which 2 adults were meeting us there. When we first walked in the two ladies at the hostess podium just looked at us and finally greeted us about a couple minutes later. When they asked for the total in the party and I said 6, they questioned us when they noticed there were only 4 of us. Who does that? Well, they seated us and said that our server would be with us momentarily and in their case I guess they meant 10 minutes. Mind you, it was NOT busy at all and they seemed pretty sufficiently staffed. Finally, our waitress, Pua, made it over to our table and took our drink orders very hastily as if it would be a huge inconvenience to her. Again, we were questioned why we were taking up a 6 seater table when there were only 4 of us. When I clarified that two more people were meeting us, she gave a funny look. I had also placed an order off the children's menu for my younger son. When she brought our drinks over, I asked to put in an oder of the Spinach & Artichoke dip. From then on out it was like I was on a TV show and they were pulling a huge prank on me because no restaurant can be that horrible on accident. When the appetizer came the dip was cold, and I'm not talking room temperature cold. I'm talking like it was sitting in the fridge for a bit and they didn't nuke it long enough. The chips that came with the dip looked like they were from the bottom of the barrel and as hard as it is to eat dip with chips, try doing it with crumbs. I kindly asked her if she could have the dip heated up and she questioned me why. Really? Ummm, maybe because it's cold. Isn't that the only reason why people heat things up. The other 2 in our party had shown up somewhere in the mix and we were finally ready order our entrees. After she took our orders, she left the table, with the dip still on it. Someone does not know how to multitask. I took the dip to the kitchen and even then the workers looked like they had no idea what it mean to HEAT something up. After 40 minutes of waiting for our entrees, my mother asked what the status of our food was and the waitress said it should be out soon. 5 minutes later we all received our entrees (4 Classic Half Rack Ribs and 1 Rib Eye Medium Rare). ALL COLD, Ribs were not cooked thoroughly and not falling of the bone as promised. The broccoli was th-is far from being raw and had absolutely no flavor. I even got a cold raw stump on my plate. My mom asked the waitress to have the kitchen re-cook the broccoli and heat up all our plates. OMG, did that piss the waitress off. The entire time we felt like a huge inconvenience to the server and the restaurant. That was it, I asked for the manager...BIG MISTAKE. Instead of apologizing for the quality (lack there of) of the food and service, she fed us some BS and made excuses for her staff, with the most evil look on her face. No "sorry", no "let me make this right". All she did was take the food away with the most unprofessional attitude and groans. Ask me if I saw our server after that....NOPE! All I can say is I will never eat here again and if you have any standards for yourself when you dine out, you should not either. Ruby Tuesdays Ala Moana should be your destination, not Moanalua. read more

This was the worst Ruby Tuesday we've ever been to. Restaurant had about 6 tables occupied. We were greeted 8 minutes after sitting down. Our menus had dried food on them that were never cleaned off. Who ever had that side work missed it. My water glass actually had soap bubbles in it! The service was absolutely horrible. It was our second time there. The bartender was on her cell more than servicing the guests. But our table server was the worst. English was not her first language. read more

Now we all know what to expect from places like Ruby's, for the most part the food is uniform throughout the locations give or take but the service can be hit or miss. Fortunately for my first visit to this location my entree was pleasantly surprising and the service was great. Going against recommendation I opted for the cow sliders and not the turkey sliders, my friend got the turkey sliders...the turkey kicked the cows butt. I dont know how they made the turkey more flavorful than the cow but they did. The sliders come in a four pack so luckily for me we could trade 2 for 2..i got the better of the deal. The turkey sliders were deceiving little guys, so simple looking with the drab color of the patty and typical bun colored...bun, the only contrast in color was the bright red tomato. Deceiving but so addicting, heaven forbid these sliders be easily accessible at home or after a night out. I could easily eat 10 of these knowing full well of guilt trip to follow but I think the instant gratification would be too strong, and what feels better than instant gratification right? These turkey sliders are a great asset to society. We were seated, placed our order and received our food all in about 20 minutes total which was fantastic being that it was a saturday night at peak dinner hours. Our server was readily available and super personable adding to the already great turkey sliders. oh the cow sliders were ok. go with the turkey, trust me. read more

Not much to say. As others have said horrible service and TBH probably the worst service I have ever had in Hawaii in over a decade. Food was inedible, drinks undrinkable. Would not repeat ever period hard stop. PS: Parking is just as bad, they can't even do that right. read more

I really dont like ending up at chain restaurants, but sometimes, your friends like them and you have no choice. Food at all chain restaurants for me tastes just the same as boxed food-- bland or over salted, filled with fillers and just not real food. So flat out the food gets 1 star. Husband and I got a burger and it was not bad, 2/5 stars, and it was a decent size and had maybe 5 onion rings as the side....idk why they hold back on the onion rings. My husband ordered from their new cocktail menu and the pictures were SO deceiving! The waitress said it was a decent size tall glass, so we expected a tall glass. NOPE, it was half the size of what we expected and full of ice vs drink. UGH. Service & Cleanliness is where most of these places can redeem themselves and some stars but heres how that went... Service at this spot is HORRIBLE. It was packed as usual and the host seemed like he was having a hard life trying to seat everyone. Once we were seated no one helped us for a good 30 minutes. The waitresses just kept walking by until my husband flat out pulled someone aside to assist us, and even she could not help us since she was technically not our waitress for our table. Once our waitress did get to our table she was no help, hated life and was so rude. My husband was so put off by her attitude and even tried to make her laugh but she was a tough cookie to crack. Food came out slow and she did not fill our waters or check up on us after she delivered food. Asked for the check and that also took about half an hour...no, i'm not exaggerating. This particular restaurant is NOT clean. Tables were dirty, cleaned with dirty table cloths, crumbs/food all over the floor and chairs were dirty too. Not to mention, our silverware, also looked dirty. Gross. read more

We love coming to Ruby Tuesday. Food is excellent, however, there was an incident at the salad bar. Thongs was dirty and veggies were in with the fruits and meats, GROSS. I asked to see the Manager, I believe his name was Kaleo, who came over to the table. Kaleo was really nice but the salad bar was GROSS. The thongs had veggies in with fruits and meats, people just seemed to grab whatever thongs was in front of them which creates cross contamination. I asked him according to state health laws how often did they wash and change the thongs on the salad bar? He reply was, three hours. Excuse me, I was a server for many years and it always was every hour. She just placed the fresher stuff into the same bowls that had been sitting there awhile. I mean, change out the salad dressing, don't mix old and new, TERRIBLE. The salad bar had gross stuff over it. When Kaleo spoke to the salad bar person, she gave me the dirtiest look ever. I'm sorry I complained but you need to adhere to the state law in sanitation. If you're not then I am gonna complain. Remember folks, salad bar can be a source of cross contamination when it comes to folks who are sick and don't wash their hands properly. My son's order was supposed to be a burger with no veggies on it, my granddaughter is severely autistic and does not like veggies on her burgers. This was the server, Jae or Joongs mistake as he did not check the order before bringing it out. We got a slight discount, but I do sure hope that the incident with the salad bar gets cleared up because this is definitely a health issue. read more

Gave this place a star for location and another star for the tasty steak and guacamole dip. This location is very convenient for me because I live close by. There's no restaurant style dine in area in Moanalua. So on a Friday night, without having to drive into town, we decided to eat here. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were seated within minutes. Our unhappy waitress came by about 10 minutes after we were seated. I got the Peach Splasher ($3.99) and my boyfriend got a Heineken Light bottle. It took foreverrrrrr to get our drinks. We finally get our drinks and my waitress said she will be back with a straw. That, took another five minutes. The Peach Splasher tasted like straight up orange juice with little tiny diced peaches inside. Was not what I was expecting. We ordered the Guacamole Dip ($12.49) for appetizer, and for entree I had the Peppercorn Mushroom Sirloin ($24.99) and the boyfriend had the Baby back ribs ($24.99) with coconut shrimp (3 pieces for $3.99 extra). Our entree came out BEFORE our appetizer. Our waitress didn't even come by until half way through our entree to ask if everything tasted okay. I told her that we didn't get our guacamole dip yet. She said she'll check up on it. About 15 minutes pass by and my boyfriend said nah we don't need to guacamole dip already. And I agreed. By this point, we were finished with our entree and the waitress STILL didn't come back from checking up on the dip. Finally, the waitress comes back and hands our guacamole dip. Seriously. Who eats their appetizer after their main course. And the waitress was not apologetic about it. Nor did she even give a smile throughout our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak. It was cooked to how I liked it. It was tender and flavorful. My boyfriend hated his ribs. It was tough and not fall off the bone. The shrimp was so petite and was nothing special. He also ordered the French fries which were not crispy and had no flavor. We both ordered broccoli as one of our sides and I recommend no one to order this. The broccoli was SO over cooked. I think they use frozen broccoli as well. The guacamole was on point. Too bad it came out so late. My boyfriend ordered another Heineken bottle which took the waitress another 10 minutes to get. Ughh... Dinner was a drag. At the end of our meal, the waitress gave us our check and said thank you with a smile. Wow. She can smile. Too late though. When we were leaving the restaurant. No one acknowledged us, even though the staff were standing right at the front desk. The restaurant closes at 10pm. It was around 945 pm when we left. The staff was too busy complaining about having a 15 people party dining in their restaurant at that time. I probably won't go back. Although some of the dishes were good, some weren't. But ultimately, service sucked!! read more

My husband and I just ate here tonight since we had some gift cards for Ruby Tuesday. I've eaten at this location on multiple occasions and honestly the reason I come back is because of their salad bar. It has different types of greens (iceberg lettuce, lettuce, & spinach), peas, edamame, carrots, broccoli, corn, olives, grapes, grape tomato, bell peppers, mushrooms, pasta salad, potato salad, different cheese, bacon bits, maui onions, croutons, ham, egg, grapes, sunflower seeds, different types of salad dresses. There's so much you can put on your salad ! I got the cheese burger sliders and my husband got the buffalo chicken minis. We both added on the salad bar to our orders and I hit up the salad bar twice and my husband went three times. I love their salad bar but I give the restaurant an overall 3 stars because first of all our waitress got my order wrong. They brought out my husband's order and gave me quesadillas. Our waitress was nice but she thought I ordered the quesadillas which I thought sounded way different from the sliders. Another thing is that we had to wait a long time to get our waters refilled. I think it was just sad how other workers kept passing us even though we would try to get their attention. Maybe it's because we weren't in their station and each person is suppose to only serve their station? read more

Met a friend here for light pupus. This Ruby Tuesday is located in the Moanalua Shopping Center, on the town side of the Navy Exchange. Looked small from the outside, but pretty decent sized once you enter. There is a full bar with big screen t.v.'s in there and the ambiance is good enough where coming here to watch sports would be fun! The only thing to be careful of is the Military Police patrolling the area. They are very strict when it comes to DUI or traffic violations, and since this Ruby Tuesday is located near the Naval Housing, and accessible to the public, you'd better drive carefully! As we walked in, we were greeted immediately by several happy-to-be-there employees! We were also seated almost immediately, even when this place appeared to be super busy! Once we were seated in a booth, our friendly waiter came up to us within 3 minutes and asked us if we wanted any drinks. As we conversed, our waiter dropped off our drinks a few minutes later and took our orders. They have a multitude of items to order from, but pupus were what we came for, my friend ordered the spinach artichoke dip and I got the Thai spring rolls. Not sure how long we waited, since we were engrossed in conversation, but it didn't seem that long at all. Both items came out at the same time, which is a very good thing, and they were both delicious! The service here was very good and our waiter checked on us several times while we were there. They also kept our water glasses filled throughout our stay, which is another plus! All in all, a very pleasant visit at this Ruby Tuesday location. Ample parking in the shared parking lot. I will definitely revisit this location again! Good job, guys and gals! read more

This is the best Ruby Tuesday's on the island! I'm not one to rate chain restaurants high, the usual stereotype is generally true for most places, mediocre food, service and prices. This place is the exception. Ruby Tuesday's in the Moanalua Shopping Center is better than the Mililani, Kaneohe, Kapolei locations for a few reasons. They never mess up an order, and they kill it with the service over here. We frequent this restaurant because the servers are always friendly and attentive, they get your drinks out right away, and food is never far behind. The management staff is visible and makes the rounds greeting the tables. Sometimes the management can be seen bringing out orders to the tables, or drinks from the bar. That goes a long way. As far as food is concerned , the standard Ruby's dishes they do very well , burgers, ribs, steaks. Personal favorites off their menu are: Assaggio rib eye, Smokehouse Burger,Pork belly burger, bulgogi fries, katsu loco moco(gravy is awesome, katsu is cooked perfectly), fried ravioli. They always have a decent selection of draft beers , and a full bar to compliment your meal. Can't go wrong with that! Overall I've been to Ruby Tuesday's locally and across the country. This one takes the cake for me. The service is unmatched and the food is on point. I'll always be a customer. read more

Ruby Tuesday Moanalua - Where's the chicken? - American Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

My husband and I ended up here for last minute dinner plans. We tend to find that our experience is different with every location. This one gets a 2/5 mostly because of cleanliness and service. This place isn't the CLEANEST of them all, and watching the hostess clean off the table with the dirtiest rag I have ever seen kinda made me sick. Also, our seats were full of crumbs. The hostess who greeted us at the door looked like she hated her life and probably us, as well. The first server who sat us also looked like she couldn't wait to get out of there, handed us our menus and said she would be back. Moments later, another server comes and tells us that she will be taking over. The second server was very friendly and helpful when asked questions about the menu. A little slow and not as attentive, but she did look busy. So, we forgive her. What we ordered: Southwestern Spring Rolls: The rolls themselves were delicious and came to us very hot! But, we like that. The ranch sauce, on the other hand, was OK. The texture reminded me of mucous. I will probably try to get it with another sauce next time. Triple Prime Cheddar Burger: This was full of grease, but tasty. A little smaller than we expected. Husband ordered a side of sweet potato fries that were very delicious ($1 extra). Honestly, he probably won't order this burger again. Kalua Pork Nachos: Perfect portion for one person. I loooove nachos, and these have been added to my favorites. The pork was very well seasoned, the chips were very crunchy. The cheese was delicious and they weren't shy with the jalapenos either. All in all, not our favorite place. But will probably be back to fulfill my constant nacho cravings. read more

So the last time we went here the place smelled of vomit. It was gross. Very loud with children running amok while their parents drank beers. I got the Shrimp Diablo, which lacked not only spice, but also flavor. They spread out a small amount of noodles with a couple shrimp thrown in on this long rectangular plate. Hardly enough for even lunch. At least my husband's mashed potatoes were good since I ate them when the pasta was more than below par. We paid around $40 for a not so good meal with not so good service in a place that smelled horrible. Never again. We would rather go to Taco Del Mar at the other end of the shopping center 2 times for the money we spent here. read more

I was so excited when Ruby's first opened in Hawaii. I worked in Ruby's #20 and used to hang out in Ruby's #1. Ruby Tuesday's used to have a great lunch and dinner menu PLUS an awesome salad bar. The kitchen and the manager's primary focus was on delivering a quality product. I was always really impressed by this and enjoyed eating there, too. The Ruby's in Hawaii have been a real disappointment. First, the place seems to have mutated in to mostly a gourmet burger place. Second, the quality of the food has really gone down hill. Bread that is stale. Overcooked beef and chicken. The salad bar is often messy and frequently looks a few hours old even during rush hour. The service is nothing special either. The best thing about the Moanalua location is the outdoor seating. The parking is also pretty good at that location. But, the food is not the primary reason to come here. read more

Walked in and ordered during CORVID-19 period. Vanessa took my order promptly and efficiently. She was very courteous and pleasant. Even offered me a cup of water, as I would need to wait outside for a while! Ordered the cajun rib eye steak - medium/well done. It was cooked perfectly and tender. The half rack of their Baby Back Ribs with a mango sauce was delicious - the meat was truly falling off the bones! Also enjoyed their grilled zucchini and onion rings. Whole process took little time - kitchen staff very efficient. Shopping center has lots of parking. Will be back when they reopen! Thank you, Vanessa for a nice experience. read more

I am a regular at every Ruby Tuesday's, but I usually go to this one located in the Moanalua shopping center since its so close to my work. Been here several times and just went again yesterday. When coming here I always get the chicken Parmesan pasta. It comes in a cream and read sauce with chicken topped with melted Parmesan. Its always good so I always get it, what can I say I am a creature of habit. Also ordered the spin dip. The spin dips is ok, my grip is with the chips served with it. They are greasy like they've been deep fried. Not as good as the spin dip they have at Ryan's bar and grill. My cousin got the Chicken Bella Sautéed with baby portabella mushrooms and artichokes in a Parmesan cream sauce over a fresh, grilled chicken breastough. Must have been really good since she talks a lot and she was quite the entire time she was eating hahahaha. Don't tell her I said that. Restaurant is family oriented and ok in price I think anyway. The waiter was very nice and very attentive! We also made it for happy hour so we ordered mojitos which were good, but lacking in the actual alcohol content. Ordered a draft Heineken too. After dinner we sat there for another good hour and just talked and they just let us be without kicking us our or giving us stink eye:-) read more

This location is crowded quite often. Mainly because of its location. But there's lots of parking. The food is good. Best place to hang out and have a small but to eat. Because this is a chain restaurant, the food it's pretty much like all the other Ruby Tuesday's. But, it's good so that's fine. The service here is the best. Always greeted with a smile. Always attentive. Pretty good for a chain restaurant. read more

This is my first-ever 1-star rating! IMO, I feel that it takes a lot to upset me when it comes to food. I'm normally very patient and don't mind waiting for food, but my experience tonight really irritated me. We had 5 people in our party, so I assumed they would give us a long booth or something, but instead, they squeezed us into a four-person table and put a chair out in the walkway. I thought that they were going to pull the panel on the table so I'd be out of the walkway, but the waiters didn't do anything and they looked at me like I was the one doing something wrong by waiting for them. I ended up sitting in the walkway and getting bumped by a few people walking back and forth to the salad bar. Now, by the time the waitress came around to take our order, we already knew what we wanted because we had been waiting for about 10 minutes. I ended up getting a turkey minis combo with salad bar. Thank goodness for that salad bar because I got to eat a little while we waited for our real food. We ended up waiting for nearly 40 minutes for our food to come out. Three of us had ordered minis, one had ordered a burger, and one had a chicken tenders meal. I didn't think that our food would have taken 40 minutes to make. The fries were lukewarm at best and my burgers were dry. To top things off, the table next to us (who came AFTER us) got their food before us AND our waitress was flirting with the four guys behind us, which distracted her from going back and forth from the kitchen. Never ever going back there again! read more

Okay if you read my last review, it stated we wasn't allowed to order from the lunch menu. Now we just went there and surprised when the waitress mentioned we are allowed to order from the lunch menu. Why wouldn't we order from the lunch menu. Think about it dinner menu for a Trio Mini Burger is $12.99 and the lunch menu is Two Mini burger with all you can eat salad is $13,99. Someone please clarify are we able to order from the lunch menu for dinner? Confused, I still think Ruby Tuesday is overpriced but its close by and croutons rocks plus a blue moon draft 22 oz for $4.50 helps. read more

Holy moly! When did Ruby Tuesday get so expensive? I was really looking forward to having the salad bar for lunch but it's like $15.00! We settled on sharing appetizers. They were pretty tasty but just couldn't see why most of the menu was so pricey. To me, there are endless restaurants around the island where you can get a better meal with better service and better atmosphere for the same price range - or lower, actually. P.S. As i was walking in, I noticed they had the Yellow card from the health department. Eeks. I'm guessing they've resolved any issues since then. read more

Been going here for quite a while in the past years because we get the Costco gift cards which are $80 for a $100 gift card. Although that is a big reason we keep coming back it's not the main reason. The main reason we keep coming back is because the salad bar is to awesome and the crotons are to die for. The salad bar is a great deal as u can add it to any entree for $6 and some change. Other than the salad bar though there is nothing else to rave about this place. The food is really low quality and a cheap taste. I got the salmon tonight and it was dry with no flavor. Our waiter was very friendly but young and I felt like there were a lot of things he could've done to make our experience more enjoyable. First off we had empty plates from the salad bar on the edge of our table for nearly the entire time we stayed there. Let me note the salad bar we ate before our appetizers came out. Second we never got a refill on the water and that was a big bummer. Third the bathrooms needed some cleaning to do with the trash can overfilled with napkins already spilling on the floor. Salad bar 4 stars everything else 1-2 stars. read more
