We were greeted by friendly hostesses and I appreciated the fact that we were seated quickly. Our server came to our table right away and was very attentive through our visit. The food was delicious and I'm glad that they have the salad bar. With quite a diverse selection on the menu as the tastes of the local population is very diverse. Got a chance to eat at this Ruby Tuesday location a few times. Overall its okay. It is a medium sized location and sound level gets a little loud being that there is a bar also. One thing I did like was the open salad bar. Great choices of toppings and salad is always fresh. Food menu is good but from what I've experienced, some of the portions are a little small for the price. Service is good but when it gets busy sometimes it slows down. Decided to come here for lunch since we haven't been here in a while. Lunch portion was smaller. I got the chicken sandwich with fries. They have unlimited fries. Tried the mango iced tea which was a little sweet for me but great in taste. Hubby got the plantation iced tea, broccoli cheddar soup and shrimp pasta with garden salad. Wife suggested Ruby Tuesday for lunch. First thing came to mind was the Mango/Kiawe smoked ribs. This is my favorite entree at Ruby Tuesday. For my side I picked a Ceasars salad and mashed potatoes. The ribs were fall off the bone, delicious. I was offered extra sauce, which I took. The Ceasars salad was one of the best I've had in awhile. My wife went with the Chicken Broccoli Pasta. We both enjoyed our meals. The ambiance hasn't changed. It's still with that western theme. Came here for lunch today (Sunday) and had the salad bar. Price went up again and also added a kitchen fee on top of that! What really disturbed me was watching a lady using her used plate for seconds. I suggested they should put more signs to use new plates for seconds; rather than just the one at the beginning of the line. The attendant told me they encourage people to use their used plates as they always run out of clean plates. I think it's against Board of Health rules to do that. read more

I have been to Ruby Tuesdays Moanalua many times and the majority of visits have been pleasant. The staff and service have always been good... Efficient friendly staff...not a long wait....this time was no different except usually the price and portions are agreeable. This time not so much. I went with the potroast for $26.79. My first thoughts was it looks like kids meal portions..mashed potato was the smaller scoop to put things into perspective. I am a small asian guy and a small eater and I was still hungry. The price to portion is not worth it they need to remove this item off their menu. Good way to lose loyal customers. Questionable portions for almost $27.00 is not to cool but more acceptable if it was good...... Unfortunately it was also really salty...actually comparable to dinty moore and thats not a compliment .. not a good value. Its not only about not really getting my moneys worth but kind of begs the question does the restaurant think this is acceptable? Update 10-21-25. Since we're invited to a karaoke get together with a going away party i suggested that we have a late lunch here. I wanted to eat my broccoli chicken pasta and my husband had he's 1/2 rack of ribs. It was good. The ribs falls off the bones. My chicken broccoli pasta was good and filling. The broccoli was cooked well lots of chicken pieces and their Alfredo sauce was alot. I could have it lessen on the sauce but was ok. My picture will tell the story. The ribs my husband said was very good. He's Ceasars salad was good as well. It's been awhile since we came to eat here at this place and as well as windward mall location. The kapolei location closed awhile back. Will be back at either location again. read more

Our last meal it was super crowded for a weekday dinner. Service was great food we ordered was hamburger sandwich and steak and ribs eye ribs combo with the AYCE salad bar the best anywhere. The rib steak was not to my liking medium rare... the ribs was awesomely soft and the sauce mines dry rub not on ribs but sauce on the side in a take out tiny container. I'm wondering they're cutting costs for extra plates for sauces I'm not sure. We've been going to all of the restaurants located on O'ahu for us Moanalua Shopping area is where we dine out quite often when we want to eat their AYCE salad buffet, beer bar and steaks. This time it was a bit disappointing on the rib eye steak a bit tough side that I normally order. The robot wasn't working so a gentleman pushing the orders to their clientele... This place needs an update! Food is average and ok. We felt like this place needed a good wipe down. The salad bar which we feel it's supposed to be known for is supposed to be amazing. Todays salad bar was beautifully maintained no problem there. Good job salad person. Host greeted up and sat us promptly. But .... Todays servicer , Adam was the worst ever. The server had an attitude when I explained that my burger was over cooked. I asked for medium done which is a slight pink in the middle but it was cooked all the way through. I asked if my bun was the gluten free bun I ordered and he said I'll have to change that out. Brought back the same burger cooked over done with the blob of Swiss cheese and mushrooms tossed on top looked like a mess. So basically the original burger was disassembled and sloppily reassembled on a gluten free bun. The bottom heel part of the bun was soggy and torn in two pieces. What I would have thought the classy thing to do would be to have a second patty cooked and new cheese and mushrooms on top. My sweet potato fries were soggy as well. If it was the oil from the burger than maybe fries should have been on a separate plate. I originally thought I'll pack up the burger for pet food but then just didn't want to bother with it and left it on the table. So disappointed. read more

I like the huge menu and vegetarian options. Lunch specials are a bit higher than I'm used to. I ordered the vegetarian sliders with fries and the garden salad bar. I really enjoyed the salad and they had a large selection of toppings. The slider and fries were a little too salty for me. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. *suggestion to the owner/manager* Create a space for the customers to put the tongs, serving spoons, etc. after using them. The service was really good, we got checked on regularly to see if the food was good and if we needed anything. The food was also delicious especially the loaded potatoes and the shrimp. the Caesar salad was interesting as the croutons was a dark brown color instead of light brown color (and no it was not burnt). The only downside is that the table was really small and not ideal once the food was brought out that I had to hold my plate while I eat making me have to finished my salad first to stack instead of eating a bit of everything. read more

We haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in many years. One of the thing I can remember about this restaurant is a salad bar. This restaurant is located in Salt Lake area. It is inside an open mall, therefore, there are a lot of parkings. The Restaurant give you a few of an American style restaurant once you enter it they have big screen TV for you to watch the sport events. They also have outside sitting area. We were greeted by the host and seat us down quickly. Our waitress Lorenalyn is very nice and provides excellent service that we all enjoy our dining experience very much! I ordered 1/2 rack of rib (actually 1/2 rack is pretty big) and I added the salad bar. (Note: if you give one side from your dinner, you can save about $3 for the add on salad bar, and salad bar is all you can eat, so it can fill you up quickly. We also ordered the mango iced tea and the plantation iced tea. These teas are all free refill. Overall, very nice dining experience at this restaurant and we will come back and hope to see that nice waitress again. read more

Ate at Ruby Tuesdays on Valkenburgh with the in-laws tonight. Worst service ever. Over 15 minutes dad had to wait for his beer after ordering it. Our waitress Cherryjean would walk past our table without even looking or stopping to see if we needed anything. We had to flag her down for everything we needed or ask another server to have her stop by. She catered to a table of 4-5 guys, and had to walk past our table. It was like she had tunnel vision. Service needs to be stepped up and treat all your customers equally. We weren't difficult or disrespectful patrons but we were ignored much of the evening. My husband is happy that there are still a couple of Ruby Tuesday on the island of O'ahu. He enjoys their endless salad bar tremendously. We went on a Friday afternoon at about 5:30 and were seated right away. Our server was nice and checked on us every so often. She might have forgotten to give me a set of chopsticks (much easier to pick the little peas from the salad bar), but overall she did well. We ordered loco moco, rib eye, a half rack of ribs and steak. We ordered drinks. Our bill was almost $200 with tip. I'm not a franchise restaurant fan. I find the food to be an upscale version of a fast food place (Ruby Tuesday isn't alone in this category). But, my family is happy with the food and I'm good with that. The rib eye was on the thin side and the loco moco looked like it had more rice than the rest of the dish - like it wasn't balanced. My daughter liked her sweet potato fries. And my husband focused on his endless salad bar. I had the salad bar. That was decent. I can survive on their offerings. I had their whiskey sour. It was okay. The bar side had a few screens featuring games and fans were enjoying the wins. Overall okay. We will go back because my family has it on rotation. read more

We had a lunch gathering at work and my coworkers chose Ruby Tuesday. I haven't been to Ruby Tuesday before and I was looking forward to try their salad bar. We were seated outdoors to accommodate everyone in our office. The outdoor seatings were spacious and covered for shade and help reduce the winds. I ordered scan their lunch combo and they were a pretty good deal. Smokehouse sliders combo: This included a side of fries. I upgraded my fries to onion rings for an extra charge. The slide included cheese, bacon, fried onion crisp, and bbq sauce. It was not bad. The burger wasn't dry but the taste was pretty basic. It was like any other general bbq burger. There were 2 sliders and a handful of onion rings that were golden and crispy. It was a pretty good value meal. Endless garden bar: My combo lunch also included access to their endless salad bar. Their salad bar was pretty good. They have all the salad toppings such as, bacon, different type of cheeses, ham, croutons, egg, etc. They also have the common salad dressings such Caesar, ranch, thousand island, etc. I customized my usual Caesar salad with a bunch of toppings on top. It was good and I went back a couple of times. The only other salad bar I've been to was at Texas de Brazil and their salad bar was much bigger with higher quality ingredients. Overall, it was a pretty good lunch gathering that could accommodate a large party. Their lunch combo deals are pretty reasonable and very filling if your chose the ones that included the salad bar. The service was friendly. The servers were pretty busy during lunch rush hour but they were hardworking and still came by to refill our waters and check up on us. read more

When initially ordering the server did say he was in a rush in short of time . At that time, I should've asked for a different waiter... or something. I ordered a burger and asked for ketchup and mustard but the waitress didn't bring it. I was about half way through my fries so I went up to get it myself. When I complained to the waitress, she just looked at me and walked away. When she brought the bill, I complained again and she finally apologized. Her apology was so insincere. Go to soup is Portuguese bean soup but you are able to order any soup that you want, The salad bar has lots of choices - salad , salad toppings such as cheese, green peas, bacon, beets, edamame , egg, ham, sunflower seeds. House made black croutons, fried onions, cottage cheese, cucumber, tomato, onions, olives, carrots, mushrooms, and probably much more.
