Smell: the first thing you smell is a strong peach smell. Taste: you taste mango first then the peach and sometimes the other way around. Or slightly both. For me: just saiyng, I think it would be better if they were separate. Mango or peach and you choose which flavor pie that you want. Overall, it was good. Ambiance is casual and comfortable as I ate inside before in the past.

I have gone at peak times and where there is nobody inside. I visit this location because it's the closet and on the way usually but you WILL wait over 30 minutes in the drive thru or curbside. And at least 15-20 inside the restaurant for anything including a food item. I worked at McDonald's for 4 years in high school, and I just can't imagine what is slowing them down THIS MUCH. I also observe that they complete their orders on their order screens before the order is complete in order to shorten their times. Anyway, thank you for my 99c ice coffee. For reference. I made a mobile order at 945am, arrived at curbside at 9:50am, and I am still waiting for my order of 2 coffees and 3 breakfast platters at 10:21am... Hoping food will still be hot and my ice coffees aren't just sitting on the counter watered down... I ended up going inside to get my food, was greeted by a sweet young crew member named Leilani helped me get my order. Finally got my order at 10:30am.

The first time we went to the drive through, we ordered the 2 piece Chicken joy meal, which includes 2 pieces of chicken, a side, a drink, and a fruit pie. Hubs wanted the spicy, and I opted for the spicy chicken sandwich. We got home, and his face fell flat because they did not give him the spicy chicken. They also did not give him the fruit pie. Next visit, I ordered the Chicken joy meal, 1-2pcs regular, and 1-2pcs spicy with mash potato and cole slaw. We got what we ordered, yeah! So far a 50/50 chance of a successful order. Fast forward a week to hitting up Jollibee on a Sunday. I'm not sure if it was because it was the weekend, or if we got there when they just opened, but ordered the Chicken joy meal x2, one spicy one regular. Hubs wanted their cole slaw, the cashier said there wasn't any available. Got to the window, and my husband says, did you get the pie included? We wanted 2 ube. She gives us the total and it was $26.07. I looked at him funny, because the meal is $13. There should've been much more for the taxes. Hubs asks about the pies and the cashier says, "ok, that will be $7". Hubs had no time for this, and asked for the manager because there was some communication issues, as the pie is included in the meal deal. The manager comes in, fixes the order (cashier input it as a 2 piece meal--no joy in that). They ask us to pull forward to wait for our order. The line started gettting longer, and more people were waiting for their orders in the parking lot. After a painful 10 minute wait, I hopped out of the truck and headed to the counter. One of their workers was running a bag out, so I asked if that was ours, and she said no. Headed to the counter and handed the cashier my receipt, and told her we have been waiting for nearly 10 minutes. She checked the bag on the counter and apologized because they were waiting for the gravy. (insert head blown emoji). I checked for the pies, and headed out to hubs. I should've checked the chicken, because they failed to give the spicy one. gah! Maybe we have to go in the store to get the order right? The chicken is delicious, the ube pie is amazing. It's the service at this drive through that has got me less than joyful. But I am a glutton for punishment because I will probably go back because it is that good.

Our family's go to was always Cheeseburger and yellow sauce with fries! As time and society evolved , so did Diners, since they became "Upscale" and added more things to their menu. I have tried their Grilled lobster plate more than once from their Upscale menu in the past and I think during that time it was $15? Not sure if it's still that price, but for that price it was a winner! Lobster + salad and rice ? What more can you ask for since that's basically a steal in today's economy. Anyway , I was in the area recently and decided on diners for dinner. I was really craving ahi katsu, unfortunately my go to spot was already closed since I decided on dinner a little after 8pm ish? So I thought .. well diners has ahi katsu supposedly .. why not give it a try. I wasn't expecting much since it was Diner's BUT needless to say.. their ahi katsu is DELICIOUS. Seasoned well and cooked to perfection! I love the sauce they drizzle on the katsu. I should've asked for extra sauce on the side had I known it was gonna be yummy! But that's something to keep note of on my next visit in the future. I definitely would order this plate again! And continue to adventure out on their menu lol. A tip to keep in mind : they do have signs posted by their windows to be patient when ordering because they do take a bit to make and give you your order since they are always short staffed. And there's normally alot of people waiting or ordering since lots come to this establishment right after work or in between work or just simply there for a bite to grab. So prepare to wait .. but sometimes you can be lucky where it doesn't take as long. It does truly depend on time and the day I guess. Also one last thing, my personal opinion , I think Diners is worth grabbing food from. Whether you're hungry , in the area or wanting to grind. Some people have mixed reviews or bad experiences but me personally , I always had a good outcome.
