This is my favorite chinese/pho place in Georgetown. The staff is friendly and the food is good

This is the second time that we have been to Fortune Garden restaurant and walked out. It was 12:15 PM on New Year's Eve 2021 When we walked in there were two tables occupied and the majority of all other tables had dirty dishes on them. I don't know about you but I don't want to eat at a restaurant that can't clean up their dishes when all they have is 2 customers and 10 tables full of garbage read more

The serving was disappointing and the guy who took our order was cranky. Not sure what we did to deserve such bad service but oh well.

Consistently fantastic general tsos chicken. Service is fast and the egg rolls are amazing. The Vietnamese food is great too. Pho and vermicelli are very good Never packed but it should be every night read more

Just went there for dinner, the staff were very friendly, social distancing and delicious food. I ordered tofu with broccoli and it was hot and spicy, quick order and good portions. The staff speaks Vietnamese in case anyone was wondering . For sure must stop and eat. read more

This was our first time here. We love pho in our family! The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. All the staff was attentive and helpful. Food was good portions and tasted great! The children's pho was more on the bland side but I expect such for children. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good mix of Asian foods including pho. My only complain was the menu was difficult to understand at first and the language barrier made it a little harder to order. But we managed and the staff was kind about it. read more

This place is a little tricky to find because the sign is blocked by trees, but it's right in between Smokey Mo's BBQ and wild birds unlimited! When I first walked in I took notice of a very clean interior, and a friendly wait staff. They're also very attentive. The menu has a wide variety of options, so there's something for everyone to be satisfied. The menu has Chinese and Viet food choices, and they also have vegetarian options! Since there's so much to choose from it can be a bit overwhelming but I highly recommend the pan fried flat noodles. Overall it's a great place that's worth trying :) read more

We were passing through Georgetown and wanted to get a quick bite to eat. I am so glad we found this place. The food is absolutely amazing - - we have lived all over the world, and the hubby always orders General Tso's chicken wherever we go. And this was some of the best we've ever had! I had the chicken with vegetables - - we were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures, but it was amazing. The egg drop soup was also amazing. And the eggrolls were so fresh! I can't imagine anyone giving this place anything less than four stars. (The ONLY reason I give this four stars instead of five is because their decor is somewhat bland.) Due to the virus, they have you place your order at the counter, and then they bring you everything in carryout containers. (Made it convenient for taking home leftovers.) Very big disappointment today. We loved coming here and their food was amazing. Today we ordered a to go order and were super disappointed. Chicken sweet and sour and orange peel chicken was disgusting! It was dry and old. On top of that no sauce at all. Had a order of crab Rangoon's were stale and not fresh. Had food from Fortune Gtown delivered and it was very meh. Fried rice was terrible and the General Tso chicken was just bland. Egg rolls and crab rangoon were good but those are hard to screw up. Portion sizes were decent, just wish it had tasted better. read more

I placed an order for delivery online a few days ago, as I have done numerous times. To be exact: In 2021: October 30, November 30, December 11 and December 30. In 2022: January 6, January 18 and February 11. I have receipts for every date noted. I promptly get a text from them saying they don't deliver to my area. I answer saying they have done so many other times. They refund my money and it supposedly ends there. However, they reach out to a complete stranger in my development who arranged multi-order delivers during COVID. This stranger contacts me assuming I'm stupid and very simplistically explains that delivery to our development was only during COVID. WTF! Say NO to Fortune Garden! read more

Yesterday, I was very disappointed to walk in and see one of the ladies eating on the front line, putting whatever she was eating in her mouth, repeatedly. And with her fingers and serving from the front where food is passed to staff. That is extremely unsanitary. And please start cleaning the floor. read more

It's probably a 3.5 star. Good: - Service : Very attentive and quick - Clean - The portion size was nice - Presentation was nice Bad: No flavor : It looks great but it tastes like nursing home food. Plain and bland. Literally it tastes like nothing--zippo flavor. It's not that the food is bad, it's just lacking seasoning, flavor a yum factor. And the won ton soup the won tons tasted frozen. The food here is really a hit or a miss. The food is good only 50% of the time and they often seem to rush when they cook it. I keep coming back, because it is nearby. Every time I get tofu from here, they do not drain it probably. When you bite into it water burst into your mouth, which is not supposed to happen. They do not have any desserts which is disappointing. The best thing here is their spring rolls. They do not mess that up often so I get that if I happen to stop by. The service and food quality needs improvement, but it is ok if you want some quick Chinese /Vietnamese food. read more

I ordered their General Tso chicken to be delivered to my room in Georgetown hospital using door dash. My food was delivered on time. Upon opening the package, I had high hopes. The chicken, was still nice and hot and well sauce. Something that many Chinese restaurants don't do anymore. Use an appropriate amount of sauce. But here is where the review goes bad. There was a large amount of chicken, which is not a bad thing if the chicken was cooked well. But like so many Chinese restaurants around here the cooks overcook the chicken. Most of the chunks were hard and although they tasted good when you chewed them, I couldn't swallow them because after chewing the chicken, it turned into hard stringy strands. I think it would help if the people who cook the chicken actually ate it themselves because every bite should be tender and moist through and through. It's too bad because the taste of the chicken was not bad at all, simple solution: don't deep fry the chicken for so long practice your craft until you know how long to cook it so that the chicken is moist and tender, not as hard as a rock! I won't be returning to this restaurant, even after being discharged from the hospital. read more

Heard about this place and decided to try it for lunch. I ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice and wonton soup to go. Only 10 minute quote at 12:00pm so it was ready by the time I got there. The restaurant was clean and the employees were nice. The good news stops there. The beef was bland and the portion wasn't anything special. It was mostly onions with around six bites of beef. The rice was below average, you could get better from a frozen food isle. The egg roll that came with the lunch special was soaked in oil and inedible. The only enjoyable part of my meal was the wonton soup. Fortunately it was only a waste of $10.00. I was going to try the orange peel beef but I'm glad I didn't. Wu Chow in Austin has set the bar high and unfortunately we just don't have high quality Asian food of this type in Georgetown. read more

Came here for lunch with friend. I had the Sesame Chicken, my friend had the chicken fried rice. The food was great . Their imperial rolls are the best!!! The server was friendly and took really good care of us. I usually goto the Round Rock location at least twice a month but stopped because they were very rude the last couple times I went and the food was not as good as it has been in the past.
