I found a roofing nail in my tire and called in to see if they could take me right away and fix it. They said they could get me in ASAP, quoted me the least amount of any of the places I called, and they didn't over promise...I was told that depending on the location of the nail, there was a possibility they could only put a temporary plug in the hole and that I might need to eventually replace the tire. This ended up being the case. I was told it would take 39 minutes for them to put in the plug, but it took less time than that. I would highly recommend RTMotorworks to anyone in need of car repairs. Richard and his team are the absolute best and most reliable mechanics in this area. I had hit a nasty bump on the freeway and started hearing weird noises from my front driver side. I went to multiple different places that told me it might be my suspension and was about to part out my entire front end suspension. They're the still the best inspite of the snafu. Went above and beyond in taking care of us. Had my power steering pump replaced and oil/filter changed. Unfortunately, after a 3hr wait tech forgot to replace the engine oil cap. I thought I smelled brake fluid cleaner but it was engine oil that sprayed all over the engine bay. Richard is a great guy and a great mechanic. He really knows what he's doing and will quickly diagnose whatever problems your car is having. His prices are also excellent so you don't need to bother with haggling over the price unlike other shops. I take all my family's cars here for any issues and also routine stuff like oil changes. Usually I take my car in first thing in the morning, and within an hour Richard will call me and let me know what needs to get fixed. Usually my car is ready before noon. There's a taiwanese breakfast place (yung ho), starbucks, coffee shop, and library nearby, so you can go get breakfast or get some work done while your car is being fixed. For routine stuff like oil changes my cars is usually ready by the time I've finished breakfast. Highly recommnded this auto shop, can't imagine any place better in the area. read more

This review is long overdue. Found RTMotorworks like many of you looking for a reliable mechanic through Yelp. I needed to replace my shot to sh*t engine and sent out a number of inquiries. Richard responded and although his location was some distance away, I was impressed with his reviews and his immediate responses. Richard made it a point to answer all my questions and offer additional information. There was an issue at the beginning when it came to receiving and confirming the final invoice. However, Richards outstanding communication resolved the issue in no time. The replaced engine is running smooth like butter. I couldn't be happier. Hah!] Oh and they are the only auto shop I tip because they've saved me so much time and you know what they say.. "time is money" Richard is a one of the few friendly mechanics that I fully trust. He has the knowledge, gives a good price and has the experience to fix many cars. Oh and he is honest when he doesn't know something. The shop's service provides automobile performance and parts; they can provide parts and/or try to fix the engine, transmission, axle, etc... In the corner close to Santa Anita Ave and West Live Oak next to Bellagio but it's on West Live Oak. There is a divider between the East and West bound lanes of West Live Oak. The only way in is if you turn right heading East bound on Live Oak before Bellagio Car Wash. The parking lot can appear packed with cars and it can take a bit to find space but you will manage to find a spot. For your safety be respectful wear a mask covering your nose and mouth and do not go inside because they are constantly working on some heavy machinery and accidents can happen. It will take a few minutes for them to notice you but a worker will come up and ask what you need and they will check it out. They will let you know how long it will take to fix your car and you can choose to stay or go where you please. Once the car is ready they will let you know via text, call or walk up to you if you're there patiently waiting. Then tell you everything they've done and the price price. Allergy precautions: Sometimes a cat is loitering around I suggest to call and let him know if you're allergic to cats. If you're highly allergic, do not go to this shop. Your healthy should be a priority. Every worker I have encountered in here gave exceptional service. read more

I called RT Motorworks to have my B8.5 2016 Audi A4 get an oil change and service done. Richard answered the phone, gave a fair estimate on time and pricing, and I was there within 20 minutes. I dropped off my Audi, got it serviced, and was priced exactly what he said over the phone. Richard and his team also did a free inspection on my car which debunked some concerns I had from getting it serviced at the dealership a year back while out of warranty. If you are a luxury car brand owner like me who doesn't have warranty at the dealership then take it to RT Motorworks because the dealerships would charge an arm and a leg while trying to upcharge. Richard and his team were honest, friendly, and pretty knowledgeable.
