Hussein is an amazing ass dude. I came in because I was having difficulties lining up the diff after DIYing the diff and subframe bushings. He was able to complete the job flawlessly and fixed the guibo and center support and bearing on top of that. 10 stars for finishing the job that I started. Not many shops would do that. Pricing is also amazing and not some greedy shit like many other shops out there. read more

If I could give more stars I would. Matt helped me with my car that seemed to have a very specific problem. With his passion, knowledge and connections in the community he pinpointed it and diagnosed the problem with accuracy. If I didn't find BMR I don't know what would've happened with my car. I will be returning in the future. Thank you again Matt. read more

My car hit 100K miles and it was time to check all the bells and whistles. I used request a quote on Yelp for a new front brake pads and front rotor. I knew it was going to be costly so this option was really nice to get quotes and also availability. Hussain was the first to respond and very communicative. Although he specializes in BMW/Mini coopers, he has knowledge on all cars. We were able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The service at the appointment was top notch. The time estimate to complete was accurate and Hussain informed us of other updates and instead of pushing to get it done asap, was willing to send over quotes so we can assess and come back. I highly recommend BMR Shop for your car needs! read more

Background: This review is based on Hussain worked on replacing Mercedes Benz R350 battery in Feb 2024. The battery is located underneath front passenger seat. It requires skill and labor. Conclusion: Excellent communication and able to keep delivery promise. Good workmanship and showing care. Highly recommended. Supporting Comment: 1. Easy to work with: We communicated through texts. Hussain set up the appointment, provided the right battery information (95 amp AGM with 3 year warranty), ordered the battery ahead of time, and provided an estimated repair time. He finished the job timely. He showed me a picture of the new battery installed underneath the seat. He also told me my tires pressure was low. 2. I share this review not only because he gave me the most affordable price. I do it because Hussain seems to be a confidence, good honest mechanic to work with. The shop is clean. 3. They fix BMW mostly. However, Hussain mentioned they also work on maintenance of other European car. I hope this review finds you well. read more

BMR Shop is a beyond great! Mark and Hassan are two honest mechanics. I brought in my 2000 323i that another shop In Pasadena told me that my car was basically junk. They quoted me an insane number to fix it but Mark took a look and helped make my car run like new. The difference is night and day. They welded some reinforcement plates and redid the suspension in the rear. Gave me a great price and even better service. They kept me updated throughout the entire process and now I'm back on the road with my BMW. If you need anything BMW related I highly recommend this shop. You get to have mechanics who are enthusiasts work on your vehicle. What more can you ask for? They are knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about your new or old BMW. read more

This shop is GOLD! It's one of those places you want to keep a secret all to yourself because there's not many competent, fair and cool shops around that do solid work, but I also want my guys here to get as much business as possible. They can handle pretty much whatever you need done to your car, especially if you have speciality cars and very fair prices too. I plan to bring all my cars here for years to come. If you found BMR shop, don't even hesitate to do business with them. read more

SKILLED, KNOWLEDGEABLE & PROFESSIONAL. HIGHLY recommended! Hussain, swiftly solved an issue Ive been having forever that no one (including the dealer) could seem to figure out. He saved me so much suffering this hot summer! He also noticed a VERY swollen hose that was a nightmare waiting to happen. As well as a loose steering hose clip! Also went over everything that will eventually need attention. EXCELLENT work being done here. This is DEF my new home. My E46 is finally in good hands. read more

My 20012 Gran tourissimo started having red blinker for repair, and found out that I have to make repair leakage. When I called few places around me jn El Monte, Arcadia, they kept pushing me to just bring the car, wouldn't explain what the issue could potentially be. Hussain took the time to explain to me what could be the options, options for repair, approximate cost even before I took the car to his shop. He genuinely wanted to help me with information that I needed, which made me want to go see him to get them repair. He fixed the issues like magic, explained all the cost details, even called the next day to make sure the car is okay. I will definitely recommend this place for everyone if you are looking for honest repair shop who is specialized in German car. It was so convenient and fast! They also do oil change!! Must visit this place- highly recommend this place to everyone who lives in Pasadena, Arcadia and Monrovia!! read more

Came in originally for a dead battery and had to tow to the shop after work. The owner, Hussain, was very responsive about any questions I had since BMW repairs is a lot different than a normal Honda or Toyota. He gave me a worst case scenario if something else was wrong besides the battery. Definitely a go to if you need a honest and reliable mechanic for repairs or maintenance for BMW. read more

I usually don't do reviews but for my guys at BMR i don't mind doing one. This is to go to shop for anything my BMW needs. H and Matt are very welcoming and know how to properly explain issues with your car. You can tell they are german enthusiast. They don't push repairs, but will tell you what is wrong with your car and what you should be looking for. They are not as expensive as other shops. If you need a timing chain replacement this is the shop you want to visit. He has so far worked on my timing chain for a 2013 BMW 328i N20 engine, control arms, and most recently changed my rear brake pads and rotors. BMR Shop - 2013 BMW 328i running at its best thanks to the BMR team. - Auto Repair Near Me - Arcadia, California

Amazing shop & workers. Knowledgeable, friendly, & professional! Definitely my go to shop now & I don't see taking my car anywhere else!

I'm so glad I found out about BMR Shop! I wanted to get a car inspection before I drove my car to Arizona and Hussain did a thorough inspection of my car. He ended up finding a gas leak from my gas tank and explained what was wrong with the parts and what needed to be replaced. Honestly had no idea I had a leak, so if I had left it unchecked, who knows what would have happened. This attention to detail and thorough inspection is a testament to Hussain's experience and skill! It's pretty intimidating going to the mechanic as a girl, but Hussain explained everything that needed to be fixed and was so patient! He showed me the parts that were needed and the cost of each part before he ordered them. I was able to get an idea of how much the repair would cost and a transparent breakdown of how much parts and labor would cost. The parts arrived the same day and the installation was quick and easy. If you're looking for a new mechanic or your car needs fixing, definitely check out BMR Shop. I'm definitely going to come back for all my future car needs!! read more

I was in a parking lot and my car wouldn't start. No crank when turning the key, no lights, etc. I called BMR and he told me it sounded like the starter was bad. He told me to try something to get the car started and it worked right away! There might not be a trick to start every stranded car but what Hussain recommended me to try worked and he saved me from having to get my car towed. I immediately drove over to BMR and he greeted me and let me know I was safe lol. He got working on my car and it was fixed the same day! The best thing is he didn't try to push me to fix anything I didn't need. BMR might seem like a young shop but you can tell Hussain has a lot of experience. He diagnosed my car's issue over the phone! And even got me rolling again without touching my car lol. Great customer service, friendly, quick, and no BS. read more

Hussein is a true professional. He made the process seamless and super easy. I contacted him through yelp, received a quote, and made an appointment, all within minutes! On the day of the appointment, Hussein was there before my appointment time and started working on my vehicle immediately. His estimate of time needed to perform all services was spot on, he even finished ahead of the time he predicted. He followed up in a very timely fashion and is just an overall great business owner. He doesn't try to up sell you on anything and just tells you straight up what your car needs and what his recommendations are. Thank you Hussein! I'm already referring my sister to go to BMR for auto service! read more

Hussain over at BMR was able to get me in same day to help get me going in my E46 328i, my mechanic of 9 years sold shop in pursuit of his dreams which I absolutely respect, but that left me with no trustworthy mechanic in the mean time.
