It was Labor Day Weekend and our Toyota needed a good amount of servicing plus maintenance: radiator, radiator/coolant clean out, etc. Luckily, SGV Autocare took the car in the afternoon - Andy and his crew worked after hours and they even drove out pretty far to purchase additional parts. They really went above and beyond to service our car! Communication was great throughout the day and we were able to pick up the car later that night. Elite customer service, price was very reasonable - highly recommend! read more

im usually very skeptical about other mechanic shops. esp for bmw shop. i got quote around the area and the price was leg and arm. I got a full refresh on my 2018 340i. car was overheating and misfiring last minute before i got here. i had to changed oil filter housing ,valve cover, old pipes, new inner cooler and many more. their were able to tackled all in within 1month or so and top of that parts was the longest wait. Note; their shop was insanely filled with other cars and insanely busy. Andy and the crew was friendly and informative what i need to be done before things get hectic with the old pipes, so i pulled the triggered and did everything for future headaches. got the Car back and it feels super healthy and way more alive. In the end, Great price! Great shop.Definitely recommend!! read more

Came to SGV Auto Care for routine maintenance and had a great experience. They were honest, explained everything clearly, and didn't try to upsell me on stuff I didn't need. Service was quick, pricing was fair, and my car's been running smooth since. It's nice finding a shop you can trust for regular maintenance. Definitely coming back. read more

Dropped the car off at 10 am, the man who was working, who looked like he had just woken up because the garage door was barely open and it was an hour into their supposed opening time. He said he could get it done in a couple hours. We checked in with him SEVERAL times during the day - he said it'd be done at 3:00 but he'd let us know when it was done. It was 4:15 pm and my girlfriend, whose car it is, had to leave for work. She tried to get in contact 3 more times, no answer, and then I tried got in contact with him another 3 times...no answer. He finally called me back saying oh ya the cars done come get it now...I get there at 4:30 pm and they're STILL WORKING ON THE CAR. Completely lied to me, and we had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for them to "finish" when they had the car the entire day. Not only that, they tried charging us $80 when the man initially said $65. I'm beyond frustrated. My girlfriend is going to be late for work. Never coming here again. VERY unprofessional service!!! Completely ridiculous. The bad thing is, my girlfriend had come here before and had a decent experience. Today was a complete let down. Lost a customer. read more

Andy provides phenomenal service! I would highly recommend this spot for quick but spectacular, quality car maintenance. I didn't know why my engine was sputtering, but Andy was able to figure out the issue and change my oil. I also didn't know that my tires were flat, but he was able to fix that too. I was in a hurry, but Andy was able to get the job done quickly. Thanks Andy! read more

Review of SGV Auto Care: First-Time Experience This review is based on my first experience with SGV Auto Care, specifically for an oil change this past weekend. My rating considers Quality, Customer Service, Cleanliness, Value for Money, Timeliness, and Atmosphere. The mechanic who worked on my car was Andy. He mentioned it's a two-man operation. Finding SGV Auto Care I discovered this shop on Yelp while searching for a place open on weekends for an oil change. When I arrived, I wasn't expecting much--it's a small, hole-in-the-wall shop located at the end of a lot where each garage door is its own business. I called twice in the morning but didn't get an answer. However, when I called again in the afternoon, Andy answered and scheduled me in. Quality of service: When I arrived at 4:21 PM, I called at 4:25 PM, he had stepped out of the garage to grab a part for a vehicle he was working on. he said he will be back in 15 mins. He arrived around 4:30ish, we exchanged greetings, he drove my car to his garage and started working on the oil change. The service itself took about 15-30 minutes (I might have lost track while watching YouTube videos). During the process, Andy asked about my work after noticing my color guard uniform in the back seat. He also conducted a quick inspection and mentioned that my brakes were worn but still usable, advising me to replace them soon. Additionally, he pointed out a leaking gasket that could pose a safety risk and provided a quote for the repair. The oil change cost $65, and Andy offered multiple payment options. His quote to fix the gasket was under $200 with an estimated 1.5-hour turnaround--much better than other shops quoting $275-$300 for a 3-hour job. Customer Service: Aside from the missed calls in the morning, Andy's customer service was excellent. He greeted me with a smile, introduced himself, and apologized for the delay. He was professional and quick to get started. I appreciate their extended hours--Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM-7:30 PM, and Sunday, 9:00 AM-3:30 PM--which are convenient for busy schedules. The shop is only 1.5 miles from our South El Monte office, making it a practical option for me when I am in the area. Andy also mentioned upcoming promotions for veterans, which I'm excited about since my work involves supporting veterans. Cleanliness and Atmosphere: For a mechanic shop, the place was surprisingly clean compare to other places. There are chairs outside the garage for customers to sit in, there was a sofa, but there were stuff on it. The garage was able to fit 3 vehicles, there was parking spots outside the garage, there might have been a restroom (unsure if its open to the public.) Value for the Money: The oil change cost $65 for synthetic oil--a reasonable price, especially for a shop open late. Andy also provided a competitive quote for the gasket repair and even took the time to troubleshoot my backup camera issue, advising against cheap replacements. Timeliness: Not going to complain, they are open till 7:30 PM, Andy worked on my car right away, finished real quick, no fussing and very professional. Overall Experience: For a first-time visit, I had an excellent experience with SGV Auto Care. Andy's professionalism, customer service, and fair pricing make this a place I'll return to. I'll definitely recommend him to my coworkers at the El Monte office and plan to return next Saturday for the gasket repair, with brake work to follow. Shoutout to SGV Auto Care and Andy for their outstanding service! read more

I was shopping around for quotes on break pad replacements when I got a hold of Andy around 7:30 pm Friday (time of close). I wasn't expecting to get my car dropped off, let alone fixed same day. But not only did he take the car, he got it back to me the same night! He really went above and beyond for me and it really shows how much he cares for his clients. He's also one of the few auto shops that has extended hours that really work for the hard working professionals and parents out there! Andy really has reasonable prices too! Wish there were more mechanics out there like Andy! read more

Andy is the best! He took care of my VW's brakes in less than 2hrs, including ordering the parts(on a Saturday)! He even drove back the car to us(I have two young kids) and ubered back himself. He explained everything very smoothly and he charged very fare price. Highly recommended Andy! read more

Fantastic experience. Called Andy to schedule a mobile repair as my car was stranded on the side streets. We were able to make an appointment for the next day. Andy showed up on time and was able to troubleshoot the issue on the spot. We needed to get it towed to his shop, but he worked with me throughout the process. Throughout the process, Andy let me know the parts that were needed, how much the estimate was, and when the car would be ready. Will be returning soon! read more

SGV Mobile Auto Care is my go to mobile mechanic. They come to you for any auto services that they have listed on their Yelp page. I've gotten oil changes, all tires rotated and changed to brand new, and spark plugs replaced. They provide honest opinions and recommendations on what to do to fix your car. Recently, I went to a local auto shop to check out my brake pads and went to SGV Mobile for a second opinion. I was told that I could get the job done at a more affordable and reasonable price. Communication and scheduling with them was always a smooth process for me. I highly recommend coming to them for any auto services. read more

I wanted to give this place a shot, but I can't get ahold of anyone. One guy answered, seemed nice and willing to help and told me to send a picture of my truck to show what the problem is, but then stopped taking my calls. Answered one more time, said he was really busy, I said no worries; call me back when you get a chance. Didn't call. Still hasn't called. Isn't taking any of my calls or responding to my texts. This is the second day. If he didn't want to work on my truck all he had to say was no. I've called 3 separate numbers. I'm done.
