Wow! My catalytic converter was stolen twice in less than a year, and after this second incident, I'm so grateful I found Mike's Muffler. The first time it was stolen, I honestly wished we had come here first to have a catalytic converter shield installed. After the second theft, I reached out to Mike's Muffler and spoke with Marty on the phone. I probably called him about 10 times with all my questions and concerns because I was so stressed about getting it replaced. Marty was incredibly patient, gave me a fair quote, and educated us about the replacement catalytic converter. He never pressured us into choosing a specific option and completely understood that I needed to get my car taken care of as soon as possible. When I arrived at the shop with my tow truck driver, Marty immediately took care of my car. He sat me down and reassured me that the parts and paperwork should not cause any issues with the DMV or smog check. That was one of my biggest concerns, so hearing that definitely gave me some peace of mind. While I waited a few hours, everyone at Mike's Muffler worked together to get my car taken care of. Oscar, Jose, and Alejandro were all working as a team, and they got me in and out as quickly as possible. They even let me take pictures of the replacement and see the underside of my car, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Mike's Muffler and their team to anyone who needs exhaust or catalytic converter work. When I finally drove away, I felt so much more at ease knowing my car was repaired and I could drive without the loud noise. After everything I've been through, I'm just hoping this is the last time I have to deal with a stolen catalytic converter and that I can finally sleep a little better at night! Thank you, Marty, Oscar, Jose, Alejandro, and the entire Mike's Muffler team for taking care of us! read more

I called 3 separate times over the course of 3 weeks about replacement for my catalytic converter. I explained my situation and the person on the phone said they'd call me back about estimates. I never got the call back, and each time I MYSELF had to call, it was the same story. They'd write my phone number and say the same thing. It was the same person as well, I don't recall their name. If I were you, call first. Hopefully you have a better experience than me. read more

This shop is terribly great!! Why? Because they are truly professional, and you can genuinely feel and see the teamwork among everyone there -- Jose and the whole staff included. The manager or co-owner (Mauda? Sorry if I got the name wrong) was incredibly friendly and kind. I had a small accident earlier today while backing up my car and hit some rocks. After that, the car lost power when accelerating, and the muffler became extremely noisy. I was worried it would become a major repair. They checked it and fixed it in about 10 minutes! What surprised me even more was how "horribly" honest and kind they were -- they DID NOT CHARGE me a single penny!! This is the kind of auto shop you want to build a lifelong relationship with and trust whenever your car needs help. Highly recommended! If Yelp had a 6-star rating, I would gladly give them all 6 stars!! read more

Quality service from experienced folks cannot be beat. I had a rattling noise I thought may be an exhaust leak. I drove 20+ miles to go to Mike's Muffler because it came highly recommended and I wanted to take my car to a good muffler shop. Simple as that. Marty greeted me when I walked in and let me know he was on call and that he would be right with me. Marty & the workers at Mike's are great, experienced, no BS and do great work. They found that one of my exhaust bolts backed out, damaging the gasket which resulted in the leak. They fixed the issue in less than 30 mins. Only reason I was there longer was I was talking to Marty for a while. Real good guy and a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend Mike's Muffler. Great service at fair pricing for quality work. Located right off the 10 Freeway near the Garvey/Durfee Ave exit. Their old school setup has been grandfather'd in. You cannot find a muffler shop like this anymore. They have my support. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE & EXPERIENCE! My Infiniti Q50 exhaust pipes were misaligned. The left one was a lot lower than the right one. I also was hearing rattling noises. I asked around for quotes and some places were quoting me $95 - $190 for possibly 1 hour of work. The team here told me around $20 - $45 to put it back in place or to also possibly straighten out the bent pipe. They completed the job in less than 10 minutes and they did it for FREE. I am so thankful for such an extremely kind and understanding car shop especially since I don't know much about cars or car services. THANK YOU AGAIN! :) read more

Another great experience with Mike's Muffler today! I come here for exhaust issues I experience from off-roading. They always know how to fix the problem quickly... my mind doesn't work in the way of fixing such things. Not only do they get the job done well, they are friendly folks while they do it. And understanding. And relatable and people I can connect with. I can't say that for all shops. Thank you Ermay and Jose! read more

I was given great advice on how to take care of my car and what problems to look for in the future.

They get you right for a good price! They also really helpful in making suggestions when needed

I was recommended to get my catalytic converter replaced here. It is definitely affordable and reliable. I spoke with Marty whom was calm/mellow and friendly. The converter for my car was not available during the initial call. 2 weeks later he was able to schedule me in the same day I called. They were able to squeeze me in a hr before they closed. It took less than 45 minutes. My car has 2 converters. Although the dealer may say change both converter, Marty only suggested the front since it takes most of the beating. The second converter rarely goes out. The converter installed is a Walker brand with a 7 year warranty which is pretty nice. I drove my car for some time now and my car engine light hasn't come on. The office is behind the actual shop where work is done. The path to the office is to the right. As you walk along you'll see the staff working on the cars from below. It is deceiving as you think that it is a super small office with 1 desk but beyond that is the waiting area. It is a good size with a table in the center and a TV at the corner. read more
