These gentlemen had my car fixed with a custom center exhaust setup (with dual tips) that FIVE shops refused to complete in a matter of hours. My 1987 toyota van didn't pass smog because of an exhaust leak. Took it to Mike's ( my friend recommended them cause he took his trans am there as well prior) They found i needed a new muffler and I had a small hole near the manifold that they were able to weld shut. Everyone there is super friendly and I was out of there in about an hour (I was the first one there) and according to the guy working on the car it was a fairly easy job ( other cars im sure are different ). I had a front resonator delete kit ordered from a company for my Audi S5. Marty and Ermay were both super responsive and the pricing was fair. They were able to install the kit for me in under an hour! There was a rattling issue that I found a few hours after install and I took the car back to them to diagnose the issue. Ermay was more than happy to look at it again and realized there were some issues with how the kit behaved with some other parts under the car and re-adjusted the pipes slightly to see if the rattling would resolve. Made an appt beforehand nd they made sure they had the parts needed. I was a bit shocked at the price but they broke it down for me and showed me the price of the part and how much labor was. Service was really quick since I only needed a catalytic converter welded on. Best muffler service in the city. They accommodated me quickly and all of the work were precise and priced fairly. The mechanic Armay serviced my Jeep. My first request was muffler delete with two exhaust pipes. Sounded beautiful and not raspy at all. However after two month of driving I got tired of the drone. My second request (I came back to Armay) I asked him if he could eliminate the drone in the cabin without jeopardizing the exhaust tone. He eliminated the drone by installing a chamber pipe near my stock resonator. The exhaust tone is almost the same level decibel (slightly quieter), and cabin drone is barely noticeable. Drove in with my Honda Accord due to check engine light. Marty plugged in the code reader device and the replace catalytic converter code came up. Came to Mike's muffler to weld my hanger back onto the muffler. It was off for months causing some rough idle and sometimes weird rattles from the exhaust. I called and Jose picked up. Just wanted to leave an awesome review of the friendly service of the guys at Mike's Muffler. I brought in my SLK55 AMG to get some opinions on exhaust work, and Ermay was able to help me out and give me some advice on the setup I should look for. I haven't got the exhaust done yet but Ermay was so nice to unbolt my pipes to see how my car sounded without resonator or mufflers, just to get an idea of the potential setup in terms of tone and volume. He was so nice he didn't charge me anything for this. These guys are awesome! I called and setup an appointment to go in and do some muffler modifications. I wanted to swap my stock center and rear muffler for some better ones that I had. The mid was replaced with a Flowmaster and the rear was replaced with a muffler from an upper tier/sportier version of my car. I took my vehicle to get the mufflers replaced. I arrived and was greeted in English so throughout the process of explaining what I needed to have done to my vehicle I spoke in English. I am a white hispanic male which may give an appearance to others that I don't speak or understand Spanish. That being said, the workers at the muffler shop were chatting in Spanish and making very insulting comments about the way I explained myself on what I wanted done. I completely understood everything they said about me, but I let things be and didn't confront them. They did what they were suppose to and I paid them but will never return to this shop. Very unprofessional to insult and jokingly laugh about customers. Let alone speak a different language thinking they'll get away with it, if the customer doesn't understand what they're saying. read more
