They appear to be out of business. At the very least, I could not locate their shop. The strip of businesses they are supposedly located in is very congested and I could not find their shop in that space. 3 stars since I cannot recommend either way whether they do good work or not. read more

DO NOT use this shop if you need clean, competent, or leak-free welding. Omar told me he has 35 years of welding experience, so I hired him to weld a drain plug onto my transmission pan for easier servicing. I brought him the pan off the truck, yet he still failed to produce a leak-free weld. Worse, he did not know how to properly test a weld. Instead of using solvent or another appropriate method, he tested it with water, which did not reveal the leak since it's a thicker liquid. As a result, I discovered the leak immediatelt after reinstalling the pan -- which is a messy labor-intensive job to remove again. To fix his mistake, he reluctantly agreed to re-weld the pan while it was still on the truck (after making me wait 6 hours and requiring me to drain the oil myself), without warning me that the heat could damage the transmission. That decision caused severe damage: the welding heat melted approximately 1.5 feet of the plastic wire loom on the internal transmission harness, contaminating the transmission. As a result, my transmission was destroyed within 20 miles of driving. This was completely avoidable and shows a lack of basic welding practice, testing procedure, and mechanical awareness. I STRONGLY recommend taking your work elsewhere. read more

NEW ADDRESS: 4305 Live Oak at Arcadia Smog. Be sure to call first. Omar is great! Fair prices and fast honest service. This is the third car I bring to him and he's taken care of me every time. read more

These guys are honest and hardworking. Omar does excellent exhaust work. And the guys made sure my old truck passed smog. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome, walked in dropped of my 06 Chevy Express and Omar gave me a precise breakdown of the prices and the different scenarios that would happen if 1 or 2 of my catalytic converters were busted. I dropped it off at 3pm on tuesday and got it back the next afternoon even though he didn't have the parts on hand. They are really quick. He even helped me install the new o2 sensor I had free of charge. The guys here are really nice, informative, and quick. On top of that the labor and parts were transparent and reasonably price Would give 6 stars if I could. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends read more

Omar is the best he worked on both my mustang and my MEV Rocket. He does great work and is extremely helpful. He did allot to help me with with the Rockets exhaust and went through multiple different pieces, setups etc to find the best setup. Also the bad reviews look like it's not for this shop but the one next to him. read more

I'll be frank: I've never come here for any muffler-related work. I've been here a couple times for miscellaneous welding jobs (only 1 of which was even related to automobiles). Omar's welding work is not aesthetically pleasing (far from it, in fact). Having said that, the man charges practically nothing for his labor (he's charged me only $2-10 thus far per job, varying the price based on the size of the object(s) requiring welding). He's pretty much the opposite of greedy, and his welds have held up to my needs thus far. Additionally, I have found that he is quite honest and blunt about the feasibility of whether or not an effective weld can be applied to the object(s) in question (e.g. if the metal is too thin). Based on my experiences with him, I now go straight to his shop if I ever need anything welded. If you need something welded at an affordable price, and are not particularly concerned with how the weld looks, I strongly encourage giving Omar a visit (I do also recommend calling ahead first, to make sure he's actually there). read more

No joke I went to 3 separate muffler shops just to have a quick muffler welded in and just got excuses. Mikes shop was my final attempt and they handled it with eaz, pulled my truck right in, cut and welded in my flow master muffler that I supplied and super friendly and even talked about Jeep off roading stuff. Very affordable. Tipped the guy and I was on my way a happy customer. Def. come here first. read more

This place is only good for muffler. There is a mechanic guy who fix the car . Don't trust him. He ask me to buy $600 worth of parts but when i go to another auto shop the only thing i have to fix is $200 worth of parts. read more

Excellent job to replace my regular pipe tips to black ones on my 718. I would describe the owner Omar as friendly, detail oriented and prices his service reasonably. I highly recommend him. read more

I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants to do something with their muffler or exhausts. I purchased a Catback exhaust system for my car and got it installed at Super Muffler within hours. The workers are really nice and truthful. Unlike my experiences at other car shops, Omar gave me his honest opinion on what was best for my situation (since my installation needed customizing) and explained the pros and cons of what I was trying to do. I feel Omar really went out of his way to help me and did not try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Their price is reasonable as well. 10/10 would go again. read more

I came here for a welding job to fix my car seat rails. They were fixed and I couldn't be any happier. Omar has around 20 years of experience and he is very friendly. He approached my problem like a project and we worked on it together. He did most of the heavy lifting, mainly welding and cutting the rails. I took some measurements and helped here and there, where an extra pair of hands was needed. I was really excited about the job he did. He also does all kinds of exhaust work. From headers to catalytic converters to mufflers. He can do a custom straight pipe or fit a new muffler or exhaust tip for you. You tell him what you want and he can think of a way to do it for you. If I end up doing a muffler delete I will probably have Omar do it. read more

Look no farther. I have been coming to the shop for years and keep coming back. This is the best place to take your car. The owner is friendly and honest. Did a great job. I live on the west side and traveled very far just to go to this shop. Highly recommended 5 Stars read more

Needed to fix something on my Acura RSX's exhaust and they fixed it super fast no problem !

Brought my 3rd SUV to Super Muffler, Omar did another outstanding job. Before bringing my newest (oldest) SUV a 2004 Ford Expedition, it sounded weak, like a sissy SUV, once Omar worked his magic and installed Flowmaster, my Expedition now sounds like a ruff N tuff SUV sounds so good even Chuck Norris would be proud to drive it, I WILL always bring any of my car's or SUVs to Super Muffler. I do not recommend this place at all. Stay away. They are unprofessional and are jerks when you confront them about something. I bought some exhaust tips a while back and decided to give this place a try. I mean how hard can it be to weld some exhaust tips on right? They made it look like it was rocket science. They completely messed up and welded it on crooked. I didn't really notice until I got home. So I went back to them the next day and they were willing to fix it. So they welded it again and guess what?? It came out worse than before! Seriously, if they can't even weld exhaust tips on correctly, what else can they do right? read more

Stopped and got a quote for Omar to install new mufflers on my old mustang. He ordered them and it took me 6 weeks to get back and have them installed ( very busy at work). He held onto them not knowing if I would come back but was very kind to install them on a late friday night. His work is great ! Now my mustang sounds perfect as he said it would. Thank you Omar. read more

Absolute disastrous experience here with MICHAEL or MIKE whatever the hell he calls himself. ..brought my E55 AMG here for some work... Mike installed my pulley kit that I bought through him. .. pulley was done improperly which cause my crank shaft to crack n now its leaking. Exhaust was welded on so damn poorly so now the left side is leaking Thanks to Mike... How can you dare call yourself a muffler shop when you can't even properly weld a fan exhaust together. The srs was fine until he messed with it thinking it was horn. Wtf??! Guy is all talk but didnt know wtf difference was between an srs and horn. Brake sensors fcuked up so now I need to fix that too since he took off the calipers to paint them. Hood latch is fine but Mike broke the sensor that's why light keeps turning on ever since he brought my car back. Should have never messed with my AMG car. Don't get me wrong.. Mike is very sweet and smooth on his words but once I found out that he fcuked up my baby, he stopped returning my calls and never picked up his phone. One star for being a smooth talker Mike!!! Everyone needs to be aware of this guy claiming he knows his shyyte but ends up screwing things up with expensive high end cars... I wouldn't even trust this shady guy with my Honda civic... don't bring your business here unless you wanna rack on repair bills later on. .. Oh Btw all this happened several WEEKS after I got my car back from his "performance" shop... coincidence? My 2 cents... read more

Highly recommend this shop for muffler repair and installation. His prices are more than reasonable, and his work is great. You will not find (or pay for) a fancy lobby with free coffee here, but you will find a very honest business and great work at a extremely fair price. He has been working on exhaust systems over 25 years, and I would trust him to work on any vehicle exhaust in the future. read more

Brought in my exhaust and got it installed here. After the job was done, as soon as i drove away a clunking noise developed. I drove around the block and returned within 5 minutes. There was another customer pulled into the garage so i asked the owner if I should wait around and when to come back. He said if there was a noise i should do custom piping without even taking a look. He was reluctant to spend anytime to inspect because he wanted to start with the other customer to make more money. I went to another muffler shop in El Monte and the noise was taken cared of by adjusting the heat shield and i was in and out in 10 minutes. If you want quality work and someone who stand behind the work performed, do not come here. Price was reasonable though. read more

The only reason I come here because it was cheap and it's next to my house. Come if you just need your muffler to stop leaking. If you are looking for a some what decent weld job, go else where. Oh, and the shop is empty half of the time, I meant the shop is open, but there's no staff to be found. So usually I just pass by to see if anyone's there; if not, the I drive to Mike's in El Monte. Not a good way to do business if you ask me. read more

I had Mike at Super Muffler work on my Mazda Miata's exhaust system twice already. Both times the service were excellent! I went in both times without calling for an appointment and never had to wait. Tell him what you need to get done and he'll start right away. I had him weld in a Magnaflow muffler that I bought elsewhere onto my stock exhaust pipings. He had to modify the hangars. To this day, the exhaust tip has not once burnt my bumper, and there's only about 1cm clearance. Also had him weld in a new oxygen sensor bung he made sure all shreds of metal from burning a hole for the sensor were clear out from the pipe before doing any further work. Fast service, fair prices, attention to detail, what more can you ask for? read more

I'm always going to turn to Super Muffler for any exhaust work. read more

This shop manages to get something wrong every time I go to them. But the worker there is always cool and is willing to help you out. My buddies and I like him, and we sometimes tip him for his hard work. But not anymore. Today I met his brother, who looks exactly like him. Literally exactly alike. I thought it was him, until he acted very confused about who I was and told me he was his brother. This guy is a complete jackass. Long story short, they fucked up installing one of my clamps on my exhaust. I scraped it, and it broke, resulting in my exhaust collapsing onto the ground. I was pissed, but I went in hoping they will just fix the problem. When I told him what was wrong, he started making excuses about this and that and about how they had 30 years of experience. WHO GIVES A FUCK? You can have 10000 years of experience and that doesn't mean you don't fuck up. The guy got really defensive and literally told me to "get the fuck outta here" and "never to fucking come back to my business again." Those were his exact quotes. I feel sorry for his brother, the guy I'm used to bringing my car to. I've referred so many of my friends to this shop. Not gonna happen anymore. read more

I asked if he could remove two siezed bolts from a turbo and he told me it would be no problem. So I left it with him and 3 days later I go to pick it up and he was not done taking the bolts out. Obviously he was just putting off doing what he said he would do. The worse part is he dropped metal shavings into the turbo and bent the waste gate actuator. A simple job of drilling out 2 bolts turns into more costs and time for me. Now I have to buy another turbo because they do not sell the factory waste gate actuator separate from the turbo. If you want to take your car to a nice guy who has little concern for your time or property than thats on you. You were warned... read more
