It's been two years since I had work done here on my 2020 g20. I had carbon fiber mirror caps, passenger side mirror motor replaced and front splitter installed here. They charged me $500 for this work. Originally it was $400 but I asked for the front splitter installed and that was another $100. I just felt like I was taking advantage off. To top it off the mirror caps wasn't installed correctly and I had another mechanic fix it. Anyways I found another mechanic that has been working on my car and wife's car that I fully trust. Not a rip off like this place. I didn't want to write this review but it's been nagging the hell out of me for how much I was charged for. He also suggested I should change my oil filter housing at 48k miles with no signs of coolant/oil leakages. Yes these are known to fail but no issues yet and I'm at 60k miles now. He said $1600 for OFH. My current mechanic can do for $1100 OE parts. My current mechanics has 8 lifts and are always busy, so no not some run of the mill shop that is low quality. Hope this helps someone out there. Edit: The owner sent me a fake invoice saying the job was $200. It was not $200. I was charged $500. I paid cash. My car needed an oil change for a super long time and since my car was out of warranty, I needed to take it somewhere. After dragging my feet for a little bit, I finally found SGV Bimmer on Yelp. I called in the morning and made an appointment to bring it in for the same day, afternoon, which was great. I drove over on Saturday afternoon and met with Peter and Clement (the owner). They quoted the price for an oil change, which was super reasonable and told me they would be done in about 30 minutes, which was great! There is a lobby that has cold water and some snacks that you can have while you are waiting (I believe they also have free WiFi). After talking to the owner, we also decided on changing out the brake pad and doing an diagnostic, which would take a little longer. All of the service together were super reasonably priced. But, obviously, it would take a little longer, so I decided to wander out. There is a small shopping center with Ross, Starbucks, and a couple of other stores about 10 minute walk away. I spent some time at Starbucks and then came back where the car was done. SGV Bimmer was quick and easy. I enjoyed talking to everyone there, who treated us very well. My 22 year old E46 was having problems. After being to two different shops with no clear fixes I was left frustrated. I went to the shop and was trying to get a quote for alternator replacement and ignition coils which the previous shop diagnosed was the issue and quoted me $2850(European Motor Works). Clemen, I assume is the owner immediately told me if the problem does turn out to be the alternator he has a spare just laying around and would not charge me for the part and just one hour for the labor. I'm a first time customer and he's willing to do that for me, just cuz he noticed I seem down at the time. Long story short, alternator wasn't the problem and it would be too much to fix at the end of the day. So he suggested not go through with it. I found this business on Yelp and it was about an hour drive from my home, I was tired of my current tech giving me the run around so I took the drive. I called first and I was told to call back a few days later since they were so busy, I did call back a week later and they took my car in the next day. My car trunk was out, my car used a lot of oil, the sunroof would get stuck, reverse light out - I knew I'd be deep $$$ in and may be without a car for days. He told me what may be wrong as soon as he checked it out, and assured I'd get an estimate the same day. He saw I was struggling to find a ride back to work and he found a way to help me! That alone was the 5 star service for me! They sent an estimate with pictures within the next hour. Called me to check what I wanted to be done and what I didn't, they didn't push me to do. After taking my 2012 BMW 328i to the dealer for a recall they notified me that I had a collapsed motor mount. My good friend referred me to Clement @ SGV BIMMER.
