I called at least 10 mechanics and he was one of 4 who returned my call back within one business day. He didn't add on any extra fees and stayed tru to his word. I wanted to wait to see how the brakes worked prior to making a review and I couldn't be happier. If you can't find the place, it's in the center of the road. I will be bringing my car back because he did excellent work and he had great customer service.

I found myself having to look up arguments online just to have an edge against other shops. However, I want to leave this review for David, Kevin, and Da for their exceptional care for my car. Story time It was a Saturday night out celebrating a friend's birthday. I'm on the 210 West heading back home when tragedy struck. Saving the details of what happened, I can tell you that I was definitely planning on starving myself a few days so I can pay up at a dealership but I desperately took the chance to ask around this time. Out of the 5 shops I inquired, SGV Automotive was the only ones who shown genuine interest and care. David checked up on me to see if I was okay and we then scheduled for an appointment and luckily they were extremely flexible with my scheduling for a quick diagnosis and scheduled a timeline for expectations. I show up the very next day. Two gentleman comes up to me and immediately gets to work with diagnosing and communicating with me. I've never seen such transparency. From past experiences my expectation was: give the key, sit in a waiting room for an hour, debate about buying a snack, wait another hour for them to get started, then thrown with paperwork before knowing what even was the diagnosis. Current experience: communication, care, collaboration, education, reassurance, any most importantly transparency. They helped get me to a rental place and picked me up as well. Definitely went above and beyond. Happy to say that I was able to eat this week. Not looking forward to future car repairs, but as an LA native who expects car troubles too often, I'm glad I have these guys in mind for future services. Appreciate all that you guys do. (They also have uhauls for rental and a friendly kitten named Lulu that comes to welcome you).

I was hoping I just needed brake pads for the front and hopefully not all 4 wheels at the time. They were very responsive and the quote was comparable to other places, if not better. Decided to take it in on a Friday in the morning. Checked my wheels and told me I just needed the front brake pads and rotors replaced. The back was still good. Sigh of relief somewhat. They were able to get the pads and rotors replaced for little under 3 hours. Time went by and they were updating me during the whole time. Great service and team here. Will definitely bring my car back in to get other services done. No issues whatsoever with the new pads and rotors.

Every shop we contacted told us they couldn't fix it and that I'd need a whole new wheel hub assembly... except Clement at SGV Bimmer! Within FIVE minutes, he fixed what no other shop would even touch, topped off my fluids, and then told us, "No charge." We were honestly bewildered. It was our first time there! If that doesn't win our business, I don't know what would. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and they clearly know what they're doing. It's so refreshing to find a shop that's both knowledgeable and genuinely kind. We will absolutely be back for all of my Bimmy's future needs.

It's been two years since I had work done here on my 2020 g20. I had carbon fiber mirror caps,…read morepassenger side mirror motor replaced and front splitter installed here. They charged me $500 for this work. Originally it was $400 but I asked for the front splitter installed and that was another $100. I just felt like I was taking advantage off. To top it off the mirror caps wasn't installed correctly and I had another mechanic fix it. Anyways I found another mechanic that has been working on my car and wife's car that I fully trust. Not a rip off like this place. I didn't want to write this review but it's been nagging the hell out of me for how much I was charged for. He also suggested I should change my oil filter housing at 48k miles with no signs of coolant/oil leakages. Yes these are known to fail but no issues yet and I'm at 60k miles now. He said $1600 for OFH. My current mechanic can do for $1100 OE parts. My current mechanics has 8 lifts and are always busy, so no not some run of the mill shop that is low quality. Hope this helps someone out there. Edit: The owner sent me a fake invoice saying the job was $200. It was not $200. I was charged $500. I paid cash. Very petty man, now I'm super glad I posted this review.
