This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. This is my 3rd purchase from this dealer and I expected to be treated fairly and honestly. This was not the case. I had a new salesperson who tried hard to answer my questions, but I honestly knew more about the vehicle than he did. Not his fault, I can look past inexperience. My issue is with the "Sales Manager" Garcia Wong who came in to assist him. I test drove the vehicle (top of the line Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultra) with the new salesperson. I told him this is Exactly the car I want but in the "Java Espresso" color. I even showed him the details off their own website. We discussed the $5000 rebate from Hyundai and the $1500 rebate from the dealership also on their website. I was quoted a fair payment (in line with my research on line) and I accepted the deal on the condition to actually see the car first. The new salesperson drove the car up to the front. I looked at the sticker price and I immediately saw it was the wrong car. Not even close; he brought up a base model Santa Fe with 0 add ons. I told him this was not the car and he went back in to get Garcia. Garcia came out and said they quoted me the price on the base model not the one we talked about? What? Are you kidding me? We only talked about the Limited Ultra, never about the base model. Garcia immediately blamed the new salesperson and said this model would be $7000 more than the price we agreed to. This is classic bait and switch. If I didn't check the actual car he would have been happy selling me a car we never discussed at a payment for the much more expensive model. I was very upset and they both "apologized" several times. Garcia said "let me try to work this out" and came back in a few minutes saying the payment would be $140 more a month. But because "we made a mistake, we will eat $40 of that", so you would have to pay $100 more a month". I was extremely upset at this point but I took him at his word. We sat down and talked more about the payment and what else he could do. He said he would throw in 1 year of free maintenance. He actually said "please don't tell anyone you got such a good deal because we are losing money". I mulled it over for a while, talked to my wife and we begrudgingly decided to accept the offer. While they were off doing the paperwork, I had such a bad feeling in my stomach. Something was still way off with the payment so I did some loan calculators on line and the numbers did not add up. When it was time to see the Finance Manager, Peter Eichholz I brought this up to him and he said "I have nothing to do with the deal, but what do you think is off"? I said "the price does not jive with my estimates on line and I'm not signing anything until I see all the details of the sales price and payments". He showed me the contract that Garcia wrote up and the price was over $5000 higher than my expectations (even over the sticker price). I told him that this price was not disclosed to me and upon further review I noticed the contract made no mention of the $5000 rebate from Hyundai. Peter left and came back within 1 minute and said "that was a coupon that you had to ask for". Seriously? I had to ask for a automatic $5000 HYUNDAI rebate that we talked about many times? Is this dealership for real? Peter took the $5000 off the sales price with no fuss (and no apology for the shady deal). Guess what? The price came back to almost exactly what we agreed to in the first place. There was also no mention of the "1 year service" agreement that Garcia promised, in the paperwork. Peter took care of this on his own and made it 2 years. I signed the new (original) agreed to price. As you can see this was a horrible experience and instead of leaving happy and excited I left upset and felt cheated and lied to. I will not be back to this dealership for future purchases. A few responses to your reply, if I may: 1) It was actually a $5000 rebate from Hyundai and a $1500 rebate from Rt. 2 Hyundai. I know this, because I specifically showed it to Garcia off your website. 2) Clearly, if you read my review, the "Bait and switch" is because Garcia tried to sell me a car we never discussed (base) at a price for the car we did discuss (Ultimate Limited). You are absolutely right, I went forward with the purchase; The fact that the numbers came back to the original deal was because of MY attention to detail, not because of Garcia or Peter. 3) Trolling the dealership? I'll start by saying I have purchased 13 Hyundai's in the past. 3 of them are from Hyundai Mcgovern Rt2. I was very happy with the salesman for the last 2 cars. I had an issue come up that got escalated to the general manager Andy. The salesperson and the sales manager all said they could help me. Then when I didn't get a reply, I found out the sales manager I had been speaking to (Jose)_ was out so Brian another sales manager referred me to Andy. Then everything went south. He was rude unprofessional and said he didn't care what I was told by the sales managers before that he was the general manager and wouldn't help me. I brought the same problem to McGovern in Brockton and a sales manager there gave me the information I needed was very helpful and had the problem solved in a few minutes. Bought a white 2018 elantra. Bought an extended warranty. Its chipping bad!!! I brought it in for an appt to take pics to send it in to the warranty dept was told someone will reach out in a few weeks. Well 6 phone calls later of taking my name and number saying someone will call you back which never happened!!! I was told to pretty much kick rocks cause they are not taking anymore claims for peeled paint even though my warranty covers that she said try another dealership!!! Ummmm wait... Brought car in for repair after a part recall that should have been free. We agreed that if I'm paying, then might as well look at the other issues.. so I had them look at my center panel screen which went black, and that diagnostics check cost $100 / hr. Took two hours, and then they let me know that they couldn't fix the problem, and that I'd need a whole new unit. After leaving parking lot, the engine light turned on. Come to find out this was due to the recall replacement being installed improperly, and after telling the story to my private mechanic, they fixed it for free. I was forced to provide all my information for the dealership paperwork, and ever since that day I've been receiving unwanted sales calls, and junk paper mail seemingly from Rt 2 Hyundai. Called one of the managers or supervisors asking politely to be removed from all mailing lists, and they said they would remove me, but it might take a few days. Kept receiving mail. I starting returning mail to sender, but it kept coming in. Called again to let them know it hasn't stopped, and someone said that the mail (with this dealerships return address on the envelope) is managed by a third-party. They said I need to call another number, to ask to be removed. Called third-party and they asked for all my info to remove.. then told me it could take weeks if not months to cease communications, and that my opt-out would only last for 3 years, then I would have to call back to opt-out again.. unless I wrote a letter to them. So, I wrote the letter and sent it to them. Still receiving daily or weekly mailings about trading in my car to Rt. 2 Hyundai a year later. Called dealership to resolve, but was put on hold for 30+ minutes until I hung up. Called again the next day, put on eternal hold until the dealership closed for the day. Sent Cease and Desist letter by mail to dealership, and to third-party, but I'm still receiving junk mail asking me to trade in my car, spurring this review. I'm trying to avoid wasting time with litigation to resolve the issue, but I may have no choice if I want to stop with the mailers. Not a great experience... and the mailings are just harassment behind the guise of business nurtures. Who knows what it'd like to buy a vehicle here. My name is Tim Tietgens in 2016 I purchased a new 2016 Hyundai Elantra from RT 2 Hyundai. Then in 2018 after mailings, phone calls, & emails from RT 2 Hyundai claiming we want to buy back your car for an upgrade as well as a great deal so as I'm not a car dealer or understand cars I trusted enough to go back and was given a deal which was 2016 Hyundai Elantra will be taken care of if I got into a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. So at the Signing both myself and my elderly mostly deaf mother whom co signed for me on both cars. We never thought to inquire with a salesperson about financial questions but we trusted the financial services department. After repeatedly asking about 2016 Hyundai Elantra the response was that's gonna be taken care of. Reason for higher price was newer car higher taxes registration fees. It wasnt until I voluntarily surrendered my 2018 Hyundai Elantra that we learned I was actually paying for 2 cars. Then when I couldn't find my paperwork I returned to rt 2 Hyundai to ask for photo copies and received sarcastic rude attitude treatment from financial services department.  It even took a salesperson to really explain the paperwork and even they said it was confusing. If I  had known all this I would never get the 2018 Hyundai Elantra.  I then made a complaint with MA Attorney General recieved letter recommending that I contact small claims, & even talked with TV station. I bought a car there in March. A 2016 Veloster. It had 23k miles on it. It looked beautiful. I was bamboozled. Here it is December, with 6k more miles on it and I've had to put $1,500 of "wear and tear" work into it. Brakes, rotors, tires, and belts. All worn and torn in less than a year and under 8,000 miles. Disgraceful in my opinion. As for the car itself, please do yourself a favor and NEVER buy a Hyundai. This car is garbage, and I hope to whatever is out there that I can get it replaced with something decent soon. There is nothing about this car that could be considered good. I was a fool by letting the interesting design sway me. I gave my son a 2011 Scion Xb with 160,000 miles that drives and ride way better than this train wreck. I am writing this review minutes after I got off the phone with Peter in the Finance Dept. I bought a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe Sport there 2 years ago. I was told I should get the gap insurance until the car gets a little older - it was only an extra $2 or so a month and it would cover me if I got in an accident while the car was still relatively new. I said, fine, let's do it. In Dec of 2015, I emailed the dealership to cancel my gap insurance, now that the car was 1.5 years old and had plenty of miles on it. I got no reply. I emailed them again in late January, attaching my initial email, asking for some kind of response. Nothing. So in February, I called the Finance Dept - there are two guys there. The only name I remember is Peter, because that's who I just had the displeasure of speaking with. The other guy said to me, "I don't know about any emails, but I'll take care of it". I thanked him and that was that.....until the next bill came and it was still on there. I called them again in March, this time getting Peter on the phone. I explained about the emails, the other guy, etc. He said he'd take care of it. Now it's April. My new bill. It's still on there. I call and get Peter again. Now I'm upset but not yelling or cussing. I don't do that. He says the office is locked up for the day and he'll call me tomorrow morning after he takes care of it. I told him if I didn't hear back I'd have to ask my lawyer to call because...I don't know....if they do this to hundreds of people...well, that's some kind of fraud - I'm no lawyer. Peter called me back in literally one minute (I guess he suddenly got access to his locked up office). He said that his office cut a check to my lender for the full amount and it should have been reflected on my bill. He suggested I call the bank to find out what happened to the money and then he said....wait for it...."Maybe you should have checked before you called me all bent out of shape". Wow. So it's now my fault that you flat-out ignored two emails (he later admitted that they went into their 'junk' file); and then his co-worker in Finance completely dropped the ball on his promise to take care of it. I'll find out tomorrow whether or not the bank received the payment and my bill has been adjusted accordingly. Maybe it has and maybe it hasn't. But the indigence of this guy...after they dropped the ball three different times over a four month period. So to potential buyers: I would warm you that the honesty and professionalism of the Finance Dept should be considered when buying a vehicle. This pair of guys seems unprofessional and borderline dishonest to me. Buy at your own risk. **UPDATE. I called the bank that holds my loan and according to them, the dealership did send them a check, in effect, canceling my gap insurance in mid February. So two things: The bank admitted they did not list this on my statement, so there was no way to tell. And finally, it still took at least three attempts contacting the dealership to get this done. On my fourth attempt, after it was done, Peter insinuated that it wasn't done yet and that he would take care of it. All he had to do at that point was check his system while was on the phone to confirm it was done. He didn't. My outlook on this Finance Dept remains the same. The fact that I was talked down to after going through the proper channels still makes me angry and disappointed. No worries. I'll service/buy my next car somewhere else. **ANOTHER UPDATE 5/9/16 After their manager "Mikey B", who is Mike Boccanfusco, trolled my other reviews, he challenged me to have a face to face. So I called him and left a message saying I'd like to do that. But he never called me back - that was two weeks ago. So it seems he prefers to talk down to people on line rather than have any kind of face to face. Keep in mind folks, they have a 2 1/2 star rating; and 60 reviews are "not recommended" by Yelp. Sold my girlfriend a car that was overvalued by about $4500 (car was sold to us at around $9000, it's worth roughly $4500). We were in a rough place and needed something quickly, and they took complete advantage of that. We went back in to try and negotiate the price back down, and the guy Johnny didn't do anything but shout and throw our paperwork across the showroom floor. Don't let them tack on the service fee. Once they've got your money they'll say anything to get you out the door at which point any lingering paperwork the RMV wants filed isn't their problem. If there's no inspection sticker on the windshield when you drive off the lot, they're not going to stick one on. If you don't have a second key at that point, you're not getting a second key. Brought my 2011 Santa Fe for diagnostics (check engine light) for which they charge $110 for. OK, Service department called and told me it was the intake runner VCM and for $667, the problem would be fixed. Got a call that the car was fixed, picked it up and check engine light comes on after about 5 miles. Brought it back and they then told me that the intake runner shaft was also broken and that would be another $900+ to fix. I agreed to have the problem fixed for the $667. They either failed to correctly diagnose the problem OR they mis-diagnosed the problem. 8 days tied up in the shop. I told them I wanted the car returned to the condition it was when I originally brought it in. That means remove any part they installed and refund my money. I was told by 2 service advisors that the old part was put back on however I would need to deal with corporate Hyundai if I wanted my money back. Brought the car home and received a call from there service director (John) who told me that the old part was never put back on. Clearly a game to try to justify keeping my money. BTW, I filed a complaint with corporate 8 days ago and they will not return my calls or e-mails. So now I file a BBB complaint, contact WHDH Solve it 7 and file a small claim case in Leominster District Court. plus I will do my best to share my experience with others so they are aware of my experience. read more

I've never heard of this in my life in 75 years and a career in Finance ! Also my friend advised that the 'loan' was for 75 months at 6% for $ 27,000 and the payments are going to be over $ 650 !!!... I or my friend has no PAPERWORK ! ....I believe there are Laws about this sort of thing... Also I do hope that 'any' of you who purchase a car and desire all these Warranties.. to leave the dealership and 'shop' for them in many different places as the dealership is a 'retailer' for these and often make them seem like they cost hardly anything...like 'Wheel Deals'.. 'Coatings'; and 'Gap' insurance..When you add up $ 30 dollars per month over 75 months.. the 'Finance Guys' make a fortune... Worst car shopping experience... Ever! This is a short version of the story. Little background history: my family has purchased Hyundais since the 1980s!! From the Hyundai Excel, Hyundai Accent and the Sonata, we have never had a major issue with any of our cars! I live in Lunenburg and every other car that I see on the road in this area is a Hyundai purchased from route 2 Hyundai. I needed to purchase a car for my mom and this dealership was the first one that came to mind. My fiancé and I arrived and we were greeted by Erika. I was straight forward with her and told her that I needed a used car for around $10,000. She took down all of my information and then introduced us to Garcia. The deal of the day was a used Hyundai Accent for $11,000, $1,000 over budget but I was willing to spend a little extra. First impression of the car from inside of the dealership: nice and small, perfect for one person like my mother. I was excited to take a test drive until... We go outside to get a closer look at the car. It's covered in pollen. It's allergy season, I get it! Erika opens the hood and surprise, surprise!! It was filthy! In my head I was thinking, "did they just pull this car out of a lake?" Strike 1. As my fiancé was looking at the engine, I took a walk around the car. The inside was completely TRASHED (open Hall's cough drop bag in the driver's front door, French fries on the back seat, etc) ! I didn't even want to sit in the car because the seats were stained with god knows what. I immediately told Erika that I was NOT going to take a test drive and that I wanted to see the next car they had. We go back inside and Garcia asked what was wrong. HA! I told him about all of the problems and he couldn't believe it. We go back outside to show him how dirty the car was and his response, "we just got this car this morning and we haven't had the chance to clean it out." Really? It's 2pm in the afternoon, how long does it take to vacuum a car? You have 5+ people standing outside doing nothing, put them to work. Thankfully my fiancé has eyes like a hawk and noticed that car was already rusting. Garcia's response? "We can touch it up with some paint." Strike 2. It seemed at times that Garcia was getting frustrated with us but I should have asked him, "would you buy this car for your mom?" I bet you his response would have been NO! Yes my fiancé and I are young but we are not dumb. We have dealt with many dealerships in the past and have never seen anything quite like this. Let's just say that I took my business elsewhere, purchased a car that was lightly used with NO scratches/dents/rust, spent more than $11,000, and better yet, IT WAS CLEAN! Today I had a terrible experience in this store, I was a customer but I will never go back again. I got a written budget to fix the rear brakes on my car, they gave me the price of $ 289. This employee was very kind and honest. He said that if anyone tried to charge me a higher price than what he was putting in writing then I should not accept it because $ 289 would cover all the repairs I needed. I went today, two weeks later to get the service done (it was the first availability) As soon as I arrived I was taken care of by another person (Joseph Decarolis). he said that this repair would take around 60 or 70 minutes. I said ok because I was alone with my 6 month old baby(who is visibly sick). An hour and fifteen minutes later, when I thought I would be released already, he came with new prices for me, saying that the amount I had in writing was not accurate. he told me after he started that the service would now cost $ 419. And of course I said no, at the same time he said he could give me a "discount" and that I would need to pay only $ 340. I said no. So he asked few minutes and came back saying he had gotten a great price, I would need to pay $319, I once again said no, I had not scheduled to spend more than $300 with the car. So he went out again, and came back with $ 319 worth of repairs to the rear and front brakes, he asked, would you do the two for $ 319? I said okay, all I wanted was to get this service done and leave that place with my baby. Even the customers were shocked how at the amount of time I stayed there with the little one (and no offer of a rental). I couldn't waste more time here. So, 4 hours and 30 minutes after I was there, he came with $600 bill... So I asked what was wrong with him, and then he started playing with me, he said I signed a paper giving them the authorization to do the front brakes as well when he'd told me that they would do EVERYTHING for the previously mentioned price.... I didn't read because I was trusting, my baby was sick and all I wanted to do was leave that store. I was there without eating or offer of food, holding a baby of 20 pounds and twisting and stressing so the baby didn't cry ... then he said he had my authorization written on paper ... it was three sheets with tiny letters ... I trusted his word. But anyway, I told them to take the brakes off because I would not pay. After another two hours, they came to $475 final price. I paid because my baby was getting very stressed and fussy, sick, it was very cold out, lousy ..... So after 5 hours waiting I left the store. They did not even have a car to offer me, I stayed at the store for 5 hours with the 6 months old baby. I saw more than 10 clients who came in after me, left before me. Had an awful experience with their sales guy named Michael L. He was very pushy, rude and condescending the entire time. He had to make it known on several occasions that he is the 2nd best salesmen in his company and that he's so good at what he does. I was there with a friend who was looking to purchase a used car and Michael insulted her many times about her credit score and how he thought it was ridiculous that she still owed money on an older vehicle as well as saying that her trade in was a piece of junk. I just bought my 4th new car from them (2016 Sonata Sport). I kept everyone there past closing on a Saturday night and never once felt rushed to hurry up and make a decision. They didn't disclose that there was only one. They do not return phone calls. I've had to chase them on this with no satisfaction. I walked in to buy an Elantra. I had already done my due diligence and research. The MSRP on the 2016 value model is $20,500. The sales rep was pleasant and knowledgeable about the vehicles. The test drive experience went well. After a little negotiation, we came to a good agreement. I am really happy with all of their follow up. I trust that this is the beginning of a good relationship. BUYER BEWARE I went today after driving by to look at a few trucks they came back with high prices no big deal. BAD LOAN PRACTICES. I went in to take a look at a 1.5yr old car at this dealership. I had a nice interaction with the salesperson. We didn't reach an agreement that day but over emails we finally settled on a price. Because the dealership is about an hour away, I applied for credit online. I had already been approved for a low rate from a local credit union and didn't want to finance through the dealership unless they matched that rate. The only problem, they priced the car based on me financing through Hyundai motor corporation. So after a few days, I emailed the sales guy and asked if the financing was all set, if I was approved for the amount and rate. He said yup, no problem. A friend lives in the area of the dealership so she didn't mind coming and hanging out for a bit and then driving me down to pick up the car. Only problem, I get to the dealership and I am NOT approved for the rate that I was promised. (Just FYI. This is because while my credit score is excellent, I have a thin credit profile. Sorry I don't take out loans and credit for everything and I've been driving the same car for 18 years). I felt completely trapped. I'm an hour away from home and my friend has an appointment that she had to go to. So what am I supposed to do but buy the car? Granted, the rate increase wasn't a lot. About $600 over the life of the loan. But still... I didn't go in there and start renegotiating the price. It's a bad business practice to change financing last minute when someone is there to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. Won't ever be back to this dealership. read more

Went in looking for a used car. I test drove a car I told her I knew I didn't want. The 2nd car I drove I liked a lot. But after I told her I had to sleep on it before making a decision, I wanted to make sure I could swing the payments before I sign anything. they tried anything to get me to buy today. After I had purchased 6 Hyundai vehicles previously, I decided to lease a vehicle at this dealership. I went in & was told they'd handle my other vehicle so as not to damage my credit (this didn't happen). I was nearing the end of my lease & went in as I was approaching my mileage cap & wanted to determine what I could do. Well, the finance manager had a deal for me - use his private business to pay off all of my other debts & bring my credit score up to 720 in order to do business. I contacted Hyundai Corp directly & never got a response. I ended up keeping the vehicle but went to another Hyundai dealership in order to proceed with financing. I ended up with an interest rate of over 21% with Ally Financial- never again. Ally won't even renegotiate terms after paying diligently for well over a year now, apparently they don't do that. I'm done with Hyundai. I'm buying American from now on & I'm not sure I'd want to trust the leasing process again. read more

I was flabbergasted and humiliated by being called a stroker by management after not making a deal with them on my first visit. I like a manual transmission and I drove a new elantra. The car drove and handled exceptionally well but in my opinion was very sluggish and jerky in shifting gears. I even tried a different one, same problem I drive an older Toyota Corolla now which I love but looking for something new; what was I thinking going to Hyundai??? read more

I previously had a Hyundai Santa Fe and loved it, and decided to purchase another one after I moved to Massachusetts. I saw an AD for Rte 2 Hyundai in my mail and decided to give these people (err...rip-off jerks) a try. I had looked through their online inventory and saw a vehicle I wanted which cost appx. $14,000. I had about $5,000.00 I wanted to put down on the vehicle so that I would only finance about $9,000 of vehicle. The sales person, Willy Wachiro "appears" that he was really trying to be an honest broker, but the entire process was non-transparent and somewhat underhanded. Because instead of applying my $5,000 towards the vehicle price, they took $2,500 of that cash and applied it to "warranty" service and sales tax (which is fine) - but I did not requested nor wanted any "warranty" service. Then they finally applied appx. $2,366 towards the vehicle's price. This meant I was not financing a vehicle price of appx. $9,875, but that of $11,634. My greatest mistake was "not" thoroughly reading the documents that the finance manager, Brendan Grier was hurriedly shuffling through to each signature spot. Saying..."sign here and here". It was not until I drove away and read the documents thoroughly that night and immediately realized the mistake I made. I went back to see him to explain that this was not what I expected/wanted. I explained that his company took over $1,625 in warranty payments for warranty service I "did not want". I explained I wanted this cash to be applied against the retail price of the vehicle so that my finance burden is significantly less. All he did was emphatically talked-down to me about how, "it was your own signature" who signed "here" and "there" which I truly had do defense because at the end of the day, it was indeed my signatures on those documents. They have since then been sending me emails for vehicle service which will "never" happen. I will never set foot into this business as much as I can avoid it. I have found another Hyundai dealer to service my vehicle. They succeeding in getting the sales, but they have lost a customer for life because of their shady business practices. read more

Went to dealership after dealership and got other places played games with numbers. I sold cars for a while so I had a pretty good idea what the figures should have been when getting quotes. This dealership was up front and gave me pricing $100 less a month for a lease than others around my house. Made the drive there worth it. If you are thinking of a Hyundai forget others and go here first, save yourself the hassle. read more

I've had a Hyundai for many years now. Absolutely love my car and would love to have another one. Went shopping with the intention of buying a used car this time around. I had a couple of ideas off their internet site and drove a couple cars. We didn't meet on a price, which is fine, however I got the impression they were not interested in my business. They never offered to show me any other cars, that might work for my budget and they made no effort at all to attempt to work with me on financing or price to make a deal. Overall, I'm disappointed because I was ready to buy another Hyundai, but feel they were not interested in my business for a used car. read more

As far as dealerships go, this is one of the best. From the salesman I had (Josh) to the service department. Ten yrs ago, when I used to bring my 1999 Sonata in, I couldn't have said that since the service people at that time weren't very customer friendly.. In 10 yrs they've really upped the customer service. I still have the 1999 Sonata (husband drives it), and I bought a 2009 Sonata 2 yrs ago from Josh. I have all my service done here and they have great hours so it's pretty easy to get an appointment when you want it.. I've never felt inconvenienced. While waiting, they have leather sofas, a flat screen tv, pastries (I usually go after work so I wouldn't indulge after they've sat there all day. I'm just saying), and a coffee/hot chocolate machine. read more

So all I was doing was returning a lease here. I got the car from Country Hyundai in Greenfield MA. They were great. Then I moved nearer Boston and Mirak Hyundai was the closest repair shop. Something broke on the suspension and I brought it in FOUR times and they never fixed the issue. Anyways on to my experience at Rte 2 Hyundai... I purchased a new Impreza from a friend at North End in Lunenburg and he met me at Rte 2 Hyundai to return my lease and bring me to my new Subaru. I waited at a desk for about 50 minutes when finally I was told their finance guys were too busy to get to me. My friend immediately offered to store my leased car at North End so I could drive the Impreza that day, which I did. The next day I called to make an appointment to return the Hyundai and said sometime Sunday around noon. I was told I didn't need an appointment and could just show up anytime. So when I arrived Sunday the outdoor greeter asked how he could help me. I told him what I was there for, and he told me "You can't return a lease on a Sunday." This got me a little mad, but apparently "show up anytime Sunday" means "there wont be any finance people here to do the paperwork with you." I asked if I could at least keep my car there and come back, and he said NO. The lease was officially over in a week, my insurance was already switched to the Impreza, and they were going to make me come back a third time on their fault, and they wouldn't hold onto the car for a few more days. I brought it to a friends house in Fitchburg and re-insured it just in case something were to happen. It wasn't that big of a deal to have to go back a second time because I was going to be in the area Sunday anyways, but when I finally did return it on my third visit the following Saturday I had to make a 2 hour detour on my way to a wedding. read more
